I hope you enjoyed this video! Stay tuned for the next video, a complete walk thru of this fork attachment, and see it in action! Don't forget if you need parts for your old vintage cast iron engine, check out www.iSaveTractors.com!
Norman, Years ago I had the pleasure to print your Catalog for you. I realized I havent seen a video from you recently. (Turns out recently is two years ago lol) Hope all is well. I look forward to hopefully seeing an update one day on the fleet of tractors :)
Love watching your Video's Norman! Ever since I severely injured my Lower Spine I can't work on/repair Garden Tractors... I live my GT Days through you.
Norman it was so refreshing to see you post a video, one of my favorite channels on you tube and I could not believe it when I got on here this morning and low and behold an isavetractors video build, awesome hope to see a lot more from you in the future.
Dropping by about a few months later. I see you haven't posted in a while and I hope everything is ok. You've got me so involved in these older tractors and I am very grateful for that. I hope to see some more content soon.
Hi Norman! Just wanted to drop a line to say that this channel is my new favorite thing ever, lol!! I absolutely love your vibe and your company’s take on tradition and soul! I am super inspired and feel like I have found a new home here. Please keep the wonderful content flowing!! 🤠💕🚜
I love the build videos. Was just looking for your homemade dump cart video and saw that there was a new video. It’s a good day in gardentractorsville! Also a big congrats on 40k. You deserve it Norman.
Great build with simple tools. You might consider adding a middle strut to transfer the load from that middle pivot and to keep stuff from sliding through. A chain tab on the top would let you lift things that aren't forkable or pull fence posts.
Hey, its been a while, im planning of using parts from your website to rebuilt my wheelhorse 857, i also have a set of points on my JD140 from your website.
Hey are you going to be posting any videos soon I seen you haven’t posted in a year and a hope you do because I really like watching your content it makes me wanna build so many cool things for my garden tractors! Hope to see you back soon!
I love your videos man! You’ve inspired my to do a full restoration on my cub cadet 108. Do you have any advice for recording or actually working on the tractor? P.S: congratulations on 40,000 subs you deserve it
I have a late 70s early 80s Murray 11 I will post about it on my channel next week but do you know alot of the things about it don't know much I love it though so stay updated
norman, i have a project that i can't find on your videos. I want to make a sand spreader for my ride on lawn mower that I plan to use in winter for icy sidewalks and my driveway. I have a seed dropper just turns and drops seeds straight down no spinner except inside the container made by scotts, you walk behind and wheels turn the turner that drops sand / seed. I have a 12 volt screwdriver driver that I want to wire up to battery of tractor with a switch like your chute rotator. and load with sand and sand yard. do you have time to do the project without using a lathe as I don't have one. and I can copy yours. I plan on putting it on front of the rideon. thanks I subbed.
I have a Kohler K301EP 12 horse generator. Is there a quieter muffler that you sell for that engine I believe it’s a 1 inch pipe thread tapping. Or is there anything you recommend a greatly appreciate it thank you.
I have diesel compact tractors like the Japanese imported ones from the 70's and 80's. They are a little bigger than garden tractors.. But no diesel true garden tractors.
Nice video, couldn't help noticing that when you stood on the forks, they bent. I'll guess the loader will lift more than what the forks will safely carry. Did you strengthen the forks at all? I was then amazed that you carried the pallet of tyres OK
Always happy to see a new video ! Looking for a 40 loader for my 445 and 400. Is that something you make as an assembly, have the pieces cut and I could weld together, blueprints for ?? Every time I find one it’s gone before I can buy it. Plan was to buy one and make another for the other machine. Any help is really appreciated Norman. Not really a fan of the little buck as I want a real loader for the lift height. Thanks
You guys don't sell crank shafts for those Kohler engines do you? I'm trying to get my c120 back on the lawn .I just found out my crank got beaten up when the rod failed .I do not know if a place to get it spun down of if it is to far gone or wait to get a custom rod .the list goes on and on . I assumed the rod broke mid shaft and was ready to replace it and now im back at page 1 with a really messed up crank journal
Send me an email info@isavetractors.com. if your crank looks messed up it's probably just aluminum transfer. Clean with oven cleaner and use a scotchbrite to scrub it off. You will get it back to the steel. Measure and you may still be good. If not machine shop can machine it to fix it
@@Isavetractors thanks a bunch for the reply. It was the day after I sent that I was looking at it and realized it is just built up aluminum. I'm praying I can just throw a rod on it . I'm looking into getting a rod with bearings .it was a fresh rebuild so hopefully it is all still good. Love. The channel love seeing all the stuff you fix and build .
Tough question to answer. Both are built really tough. I prefer the Ford LGT over the Wheel Horse though for Front End Loader type stuff. I prefer the Wheel Horse over the Ford for Mowing.
@@Isavetractors I love my Ford lgt but not the steering, the front end loader adds a lot of unplanned extra weight. I rebuild my steering like most do. If there is a replacement upgrade please tell me about it. Thanks Norman
I'll be back. I had to take the year off from making videos. But when I do return I've got some awesome stuff. New shop tools like a milling machine etc
I’m not sure if you will see this but I had subscribed to your channel a while back and I had noticed I was not seeing your videos in my feed anymore and somehow or another I had been unsubscribed.
I'm not sure how long those forks are, but it looks like they can be a little shorter. Something about the scale is making it look like they can be a little shorter. Just my opinion.
I do! My business took over all of my time, and what I had left was for my family. I am gearing back up to make videos again though! Slower process this time around though. I've got some real cool stuff to share.
Just focusing on other projects at the moment. Business is running strong, and I have taken a step back to allow my staff to run the operation. I am still alive and well though. =)
Norman, I help out at a non-profit community garden and we are strongly looking for a wheel horse tractor to help us (preferably with a 3-point for are cultivator). The guy in charge is 75yrs old and I am 33 with health issues. We were hoping you could help. Please get back to me on Facebook messenger. A 300 or 500 series would be awesome.

You ought to make a quick attach.
I've made one for my '89 318 with 44 loader.
Post more often 😁
Hope you are okay, still waiting for the video promised.
I really hope you post soon its been 7months.
Hey... I hope all is well, I miss your content!
Miss your videos Norm especially the restoration videos. Life gets busy though, hope you get back to it one day! Hope all is well!

I agree.
Good video Norman. Love the "can do" attitude.
P.S. Thank you for lowering the volume on your intro clip.
Nice job Norm. Nice build. Surprisingly really not much need for parts. This reminds me on how much I really need a front end loader.

Nice job. I added an "adjustable flow control valve" to mine, it lowers the flow rate giving me more control over the forks.
Awesome Job Norman !!
Don't stop making videos please

I’m really happy to hear that
Glad to hear you are posting more too
I always enjoy your projects. Thanks for sharing my friend.😎👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Your high flow carburetors needs the threads looked at, when you pull the jet out, it also pulls the threads..
That's because they are garbage but dont expect a reply. Only compliments get replies.

Nice build. We shared this video on our homemade tools forum this week :)
Hey, why did you stop uploading videos?
Isavetractors. All good? We have not seen you in a bit.

Come on Norman we need a new video!
How about a CUB TLB update?
Soon my friend! Soon. Thanks for checking in!
Freaking sweet man.
