To practice with the rope dart, student are often given a thick soft rope and knot up 5-8 knots at the end. The rope can be 12-20 feet long. For beginners, have a bucket of water and soak the first few feet of rope and practice swinging it outstretched, palm up holding the rope. Let the rope go a bit till it's about a foot off the ground and spun it around (outside btw). The water flying off will give you clues to spinning it straighter and will give you less shin smacking. Hold head straight, looking forward. Practice spinning for about 20-30 seconds.. look at the ground to see the spray pattern. Soak rope again and move your spot over. If you are swinging right handed, start with right foot forward. You can "catch" the rope dart by bringing your swinging arm up 90° as the dart is on it's downward swing in front of you. Kill the power and the dart will wrap around your elbow and come to rest.
Michelle's favorite pick-up line: "Get over here! " and launches the rope-dart Scorpion style. Total badass.. and SO ROMANTIC! And who wouldn't want to be on the piercing end of a rope-dart held by beautiful Michelle? 🙋 I volunteer for tribute!
hey Michelle...I started watching your videos back in 2020 during the pandemic because I was losing my mind stuck in the house, and I decided to pick up the rope dart. I ordered a training one offline but I made me one too; I have to do it big so mine has a 12in dagger on the end of a 9ft rope. I used boat rope, electrical tape, gorilla glue, and a dagger i bought offline! Took me about 15 min to create it and it worked like a charm...lol
Sizing your rope dart is actually really easy! Hold the start of the rope in one hand and stretch your arms out wide and then let the rest of the length fall to the floor it should stretch the length of your wingspan and also include the length that stretches down to the floor. 🤩😘💕 I love you Michelle! You taught me my very first rope dart move over a year ago!! MAHALO 💗
I made my own by knotting tow nuts at the end of paracord and covered that with silicon. To moled it I took a lengthy naced waterbottel with half a ping pong ball at the end. Length wise I was reading 3 - 5 Meters. A meter is about a medium lage stepp. So I made a 5m long rope
I would like to please know where you get your training sticks? you have all kinds of them and whether it's on the internet or in stores I can't find what I'm looking for. thank you to you, your videos help me H24😘
My teacher gave me one. Never tried the rope dart/meteor hammer, but I'm having fun with it, despite the ball hitting me hahahaha. Unfortunately I have to fix my rubber ball. I realized the rubber ball has water in it and it's leaking 😢. I was thinking of draining the liquid out, put in some coins for weight and then re-wrap the ball. What do you think?
That was "Swearing with Michelle". 😆 The video is great. And thank you for the Bloopers, you really made me laugh. Oh, and the next video probably should be "How to protect your crotch area". 😃
Ooh! I've been interested about the rope dart lately and wanted to give it a try, so this is perfect timing! Thank you Michelle! 😊

hello friends, if you think that you made this video a superhero like me, this comment is yours. 👍
Sorry if I missed this but what is the thickness of the rope? I've been wanting to try this!
I think anything might do, I used the yarn that I use for knitting to make this
1/4"-3/8" in thickness is what most practitioners seem to use.
Gracias , soy tu eterno fan de lima peru
What’s the rope’s diameter?
😺😺😺 Catwoman essentials
Scorpion essentials. "get over here!!"
Do not make Michelle angry when she has a hidden weapon😆
you should tie an Ashley stopper knot, then stuff it in the kong.
She's so cool dude.

You've got about 100,000 hours practicing this stuff!
Monkey fist is seriously one of the easiest things to tie
