    For anyone who needs to read it: you’re not falling behind. you are still young and have a whole life ahead of you. you have enough time to explore things u love and experience your life and make your goals come true and find reasons to live. take things one day at a time and don’t let the fear of falling behind stop you because life isn’t a race. 💛

    you should try a reusable K cup for your keurig! Its really easy to use and clean all you have to do is pop out the thing that punctures the cup (which is super easy to do and put back in) it costs less than the k cups, you get to pick the coffee you like for it, and its more sustainable/environmentally friendly! love your videos:)

    Remember you have to be on BC for at LEAST three months for things to even out, and for most people up to six for your body to readjust. Don't get freaked and go off it again if things like emotions or your skin starts going crazy, just push through and if in a year it isn't working then switch brands or reassess if the pill is the right form for you.

    • @MsLivinglegend19
      @MsLivinglegend19 5 років тому

      Aubrey M I was on BC for two months and on the second month, I became severely depressed and felt awful all the time. Not sure if I could’ve switched to another brand because it was for a hormonal disorder, not to prevent having children, but there was no way I could’ve carried on with it

    hey Brooke- I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your realness and vulnerability. it takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there and the people who pick apart your every decision don't deserve any of your attention! I'm sure it's beyond difficult being judged by people who don't even know you but know that you have a following of people who truly support you and appreciate what you do!!! anyone who puts that much effort into obsessively critiquing your content is truly not worthy of your time or attention- if anything their judgement is a reflection of who they are and not who you are.

    For your sweatshirts on the rack in your closet, I have found that cloth baskets are so helpful/hide clutter! I stack mine in a way that I can still see each sweatshirt! It has made the shelves in my closet look amazing.

  • @Mapoflife

    You could get a dresser to put in your walk in closet below the shelf your hoodies are currently stored on. It looks like you have panels or something on that wall inside the closet but if the dresser isn’t super heavy wood you could move it easily when you need to access the panels. As for the tea cupboard, see if you can find those wire shelf shelf so you can store above and below the shelf and double your space without having to stack and move things around whenever you grab something :) Loving your vlogs Brook - you’re doing great 💙

    Tip for organizing: for your closet I was thinking even a small three drawer dresser for your sweatshirts and pajamas would be great but also BASKETS. I would get the same size and label tabs to organize everything and it’s also not clear to keep things hidden. For your outside closet, same thing hidden bins would be great and/ or maybe hang your sweatshirts there for friends who also get cold.
    For your cabinets: Acrylic stackable bins would be easy to keep everything separate but condense the space so you see what you have. And you can get markers to label/relabls. I would look up Marie Kondo or even dollar tree organizing tips.
    For your sign: “They said I could be anything so I decided to be caffeinated” ?
    Love this video!! 😊

    Try one of those cube storage unit things from target for your shoes and even maybe the 3 or 2 cube organizer to put on the top shelf of your closet or something similar to better organize your sweat shirts! I have one of those under my bed for my sweatshirts and it keeps them folded and all in one place without making a mess every time you take them out or look for some sort of shelf divider you could just add :) just an idea your apartment looks great though!

    You could use a spinning organizer for the spices and get some clear acrylic organizer for all the miscellaneous items in your cabinets! The container store always has functional and cute items :)) I would recommend using matching wire baskets like you showed already for your sweatshirts. I think having matching baskets for everything completely changes the appearance of your spaces.

    For heavy bedding or the air mattress, try a clear big bin from Target. They're like $7 and it is easy to access but all neat. Also for the sweatshirts, I have mine in a little clear bin to see them but they're stacked. Or you can get a purse divisor for your closet that makes a little mini shelf!

Every time I step into the kitchen, even making ramen is a hit or miss for me while everyone else in my family throws random stuff in a pot and comes out chef worthy lol. For the shoe rack in your front closet I would recommend turning it around. I have the same one and I find that the downward slant makes all my sandals and tennis shoes, anything without a heel, fall down onto the floor and I never pick them up. So I turned mine around so that the downward slant is facing the wall and shoes slide towards the wall. Then I put the shoes I wear least often on the rack and any everyday shoes stay on the floor under neath or near by.

  • @JessicaDanielle1632
    @JessicaDanielle1632 5 років тому

    You should get matching baskets for your kitchen cabinet. Put spices into one, coffee in one, tea in one etc. I also have a healthy snack basket I leave in my reach and then a not so healthy snack basket on the top shelf that’s harder to reach! I take all of my granola bars/ oatmeal packets etc out of the box’s and put them in the basket so you can see what you have and it’s a little more grab and go accessible.
    For your front closet I would put all of your shoes and coats on one side so you have a designated clothing area. Coats on the top rack, shoes below. Any heels can go in clear plastic contains on the shelf so you can see them but they are away, then shoes you wear more often on the rack below. Then use baskets to organize other things in the middle section then use the other side area for a utility section. They have those shelves that clip onto your hanging bar, that would be good for cleaning products/ paper towels! This way it’s broken up in sections :)

    I put all of my sweaters and such into the cube storage things from target! they are cute and hide it and easy to pull down when I want to wear them. Also! for my Nespresso pods (I have the same as you) but what I started doing was like rinsing them out and I bought special foils made to put on the pods so I can reuse them (they're on amazon)! But I also saw they do a recycle special thing where they give you a discount for mailing back your pods or something, just so ya know!

    The best way I know for condensing an air mattress is to lay it flat and really make sure all the air is out. Then you fold it into thirds and start rolling it (tightly and like how they wrap the burritos at Chipotle), starting from the end opposite where the pump goes. This ensures all possible air is out. Once you've rolled it nice and tight, place it in a tall bin (I've always used this one from Target because it's just tall enough and it doesn't take up much space www.target.com/p/y-weave-bin-river-birch-11-room-essentials-153/-/A-53764128 )

    Get shelve spacers/separators! It makes folding on shelves look nicer and they stay organized better

    For sweatshirts, I use a shoe holder! One of the wider ones that hang in the closet. They can be folded in the closet :)

    Roll your sweatshirts and put them in an organizing cube! That’s what I did and it saved so much room!
