I absolutely love how real you are. You are totally appropriate and professional but it's good to be real too and it's def not TMI, in my opinion. Hang in there--you are doing great!

The transition from college to relocating to starting a new job in a new town...then adjusting to the new job, etc...Time management is key. You’re young but just know that NOT everyone is YOUR friend and don’t trust everyone you encounter. It’s okay to have coworkers that you hang out with but use discernment! Working a 9-5, M-F really doesn’t allow for socializing during the week along with trying to manage your personal life, home life. Continue to chat with your mom, get her guidance and advice if needed. You will overcome this, one day at a time. It gets better. Priorities are key. You will figure it out for sure 😊😊

It must be hard to keep sharing your life when the company you work at can watch the videos as well. It adds a lot of pressure to your UA-cam...
Keeping in mind that starting work after school is already pressure enough, hat off to you girl !
I know I’m appreciating the vlogs 10 times more when I think about what it means for you to put your life out there!

Thank you for showing the rough parts along with the good parts! It's so easy to only show the fun stuff, but being real and honest really makes me feel like we're friends and I'm not just watching a highlight reel of someone's life! Just remember that you're killing it and doing amazing things even when you don't feel like you are :) I always look forward to your week in the life vlogs!!

As much as we love a happy Brooke, I do appreciate you being vulnerable with us in this vlog!! Life gets overwhelming especially during post-grad which I don't think enough people understand until it actually happens, and I think that it's comforting to know that we all have our moments. Hope this year you can make time management one of your goals, you got it!

As someone who has done the post-grad thing, I was wondering when all of this was going to hit, because the whole first few weeks of "omg this is so amazing I love it" was cool to see, but don't feel like what you're going through isn't normal, because everyone goes through this!

Brooke, don’t beat yourself up. You are one of the most strongest, classy, hard-working women I know. You’re new to the “adult” life. Every day won’t be rainbows & smiles, but hey, you take the good with the bad & keep it moving. Just make sure you’re grounded & in a good mind space (if that makes sense).. I’m proud of you girly!!!
btw: loved the outfit with the brown/tan pants:: simple & chic

Just a ~tip~ from a fellow post grad gal. Be careful with drinking stuff with alot of sugar. I was having HORRIBLE panic attacks after drinking the night before (even just like a few drinks) and it was linked to the sugar in alcohol!

I’m 31 and I’ve been at my job for 7 years now and when I first started I wanted to quit because there was SO much to know and it was a huge adjustment since I worked at a daycare right out of college. I do physician credentialing and let me tell you the 2 weeks of training never fully prepared me for anything that I do in my actual position but here I am still there all these years later and I’m still learning something new daily! It honestly took me about 4 months after I started to feel comfortable with my work! Don’t be so hard on yourself, you moved to a whole new city and started a brand new job at once. Eventually you’ll adjust and find a routine that works for you! Just be patient because it takes time :) Also kudos to you for having your side hustles on top of a 9-5! 🙌🏻

I just got done an intensive training program and have been in my role now for like 1-2 months and it is a ROLLER COASTER let me tell you.. people don't talk about how hard and stressful it is to have a grownup job and the fact that it takes over your life in not always a good way. Anyways, hang in there. It will get better! Nothing is permanent!

I was feeling for you when you said that you feel overwhelmed. I started a new position in my job a few months ago and I felt the same for the first month or two. I think it's completely normal if you have a new set of responsibilities and tasks to feel overwhelmed. It will get better once you are in a routine with your work and know it better, then everything will happen naturally and you don't have to think so much about it anymore. I think it's amazing that you still find the time to vlog and share your life with us and that you keep things so real. I wish you all the best, keep your head up, you're doing amazing! 💕

I love your vlogs, and feel like you have become my favorite person on UA-cam to watch because of how honest and relatable you are! Please don't ever worry about complaining or coming across as ungrateful about your life/job, because we know you aren't! But it is honestly really nice to see someone else going through the similar stresses of balancing personal life / work / other projects, and getting overwhelmed at times. Honestly really prefer this content to just seeing people go on cool trips or go to influencer events! Keep it up Brooke, you got this! Sorry you've been feeling stressed, but know you are going to get through it! Sending love!

Hey Brooke, I’m 23 and just started my post grad career last year and had a rough transition myself. Not only did I move an hour away from all my friends and family but I also didn’t have friends at my job for months after. Then in March my brother got diagnosed with cancer and died in April. It’s been ROUGH but all of it has taught me so much about living on my own, being independent, and what’s important in life. When life knocks you down get back up but don’t lose sight of what you’re working for. Just wanted to say that through all that my life is getting better, getting a promotion, moving back home, spending more time with friends, etc. things WILL get better! Good luck

one of the reasons i love your videos so much is because it feels like i am catching up with a friend because of how real and vulnerable and open you are in your vlogs (i am always looking forward to them). you seem so genuine and authentic and relatable. also, it's soooo okay to have rough days, especially during periods of change and adjusting, but things do settle eventually. thank you for being so open about the bad days, even though it can be so hard to be vulnerable to an online audience. hope you are feeling better!!! :)

Ugh I felt this ENTIRE video! Just graduated college, so lived in Austin for 3 years, and now I'm moved back home, working a 9-5 job M-F. I'm grateful for it and love the people I work with, but I miss my college friends and my college routine. I kept looking forward to this moment, but like I'm so overwhelmed and unprepared, now that I'm here. Anyways, I know things will work out and get better, putting that into existence for all of us!!! Thank you for reminding me that I'm not alone in this transition from college --> adulting.

I love these vlogs and I’m glad you’re honest on your channel ❤️ I have also struggled with time management AND caring about what other people think/general feelings of guilt, and my time management got so much better after I stopped striving for perfection/stopped feeling guilty about not being perfect. Remember that this is still a new period for you, and your time manage management will improve as you continue to find your routine. Just try to remember that you don’t have to be perfect, and you don’t have to feel guilty about not being perfect ❤️

Also proud of you for showing everyone that your life isn’t always smiles and perfect and not stressful like every other UA-camr does! Love the outfits and the optimism despite your week! XOXO

Girl, growing pains are hard and that's exactly what you're going through. I remember when I started my job after college and I cried A LOT! I read somewhere that graduating from college is a traumatic experience, and I believe it. So, be patient with yourself! You'll figure out your work relationships/friendships. Just take your time...work friendships can be very rewarding but they can also mess up your life. You'll spend a lot of time with these people so just enjoy yourself! I love your work vlogs. Hang in there!

Girlfriend I know exactly how you must have been feeling in this vlog. I had a meltdown about a week ago; stress from work, personal life, not having a second to even think and other things really was weighing on me and I couldn't handle it. I had to take a step back and reevaluate things; your mental and physical wellbeing are more important than anything. Focus on you: take things one day at a time, one task at a time, don't overwork yourself and do things that make you happy in your off time. It will get better ❤

gurl you are so allowed to have a bad day/week/ however long you need! living 12 hours away from my family has grown to be really difficult for me and i totally feel your pain living so far away from loved ones. (facetime has really helped me)

I am also going through the post-grad life and it is WEIRD. It's hard to adjust to a completely new schedule and routine. Just have to stay positive and see the best in every situation!
