I watched 5 videos B4 I got to you. All of them did basically the same thing. They were useless. They made the simple complex for no reason. Keep doing yr thang bruh.
When troubleshooting a problem one should always start with the simplest possible cause then proceed with the more complex. The power supply should have been the first thing checked.
Hello, good video. Can you tell me how I can fix a problem with my samsung frig Rf30hbedbsr/aa 02? I have the well known problem - fresh food area not cooling but freezer is cooling. I checked it out pretty thoroughly n found that my evaporator fan is not working. So I bench tested it with a 9 volt battery n it worked but it won't run when plugged into the input. I tested the input on dc on my mm but it only shows a max of 2.5 volts. I'm stumped. And yes I did the magnets in place of closing the door. Please give me some suggestions. Thank you Can I remove that connector/receptacle n see whats going on behind it. Just to be clear its the one that you plug the evap fan into behind the twin cooling cover on the left side.
I'm not familiar with that specific model but I've went ahead and researched it and I think you should be checking for the fan voltage at the main PCB board just in case the harness has a issue. Here is a link to the troubleshooting manual, hope it helps www.manualslib.com/manual/1299011/Samsung-Rf30h.html#manual
@@hvacmadeeasy1788 Thank you but I ended up having to add a pin to the molex on the frig for evap fan. I used a piece of 14 ga romex like 14-2 house wire about 1" long n stuck it into it n then pushed the fan connector into it. It wasn't as easy as it sounds. A lot of trial n error but it's working now. Fridge is cold once again.
@@hvacmadeeasy1788 One other problem my dial thermometer shows about 5 degrees warmer in fridge than the display on the door. The thermometer that reads that temp i guess is the one plugged in same side as fan n seems to be buried in the twin cooling evap cover, right?
@@hvacmadeeasy1788 Is that degree difference worth going in cover again n changing that thermostat? Meaning is my electric bill more because of that difference or should I just let it go? Thanks for the help
Hello, thanks for the good video. Could you or anyone point me to a direction where the problem might be when the compressor turns on and shuts off every 8-10 seconds even with the new ptc/ start up relay replacement, any help will be greatly appreciated.
My condenser coils keep freezing up on mines. I have almost the exact one shown in the video. I keep telling my kids to stop opening and closing the fridge cause by doing so the warm air passes thru and causes problems.
I think you're referring to the evaporator. Look on UA-cam for the add on heating wire. I got the Supco sh-201 n so far so good helping warm n defrost the evap coils. I also changed some other things. Like bending the left n right ends of the drain pan up so water doesn't sit in it. Also added that aluminum T piece to warm the drain better.
WHY, WHY, WHY do people ruin excellent and informative videos with cheesey background “music” ??? It’s annoying and very distracting .. Nice video just the same 👍👍😂👍
Why didnt you the easiest thing first, take the power and ditch the surge and connect the power line straight to the outlet? You wasted time doing all that. First check the easiest step first before you take things apart
No reason I usually begin at the source but they wanted it inspected since they had a bad board in the past. Had to do an inspection and maintenance anyway.
Note to self.. Check the plug first... Amazing video by the way and I'm very appreciative.
Yes sometimes it’s the small things. Thanks for watching.
have started with the easiest part first😮. thank you still very informative
Didn’t expect that the one plug would be bad but nevertheless the coil was really dirty.

Check your condenser fan

Is it cooling at all?

What dose it mean when the light is red on the inside ???
Probably an alert that it’s time to change your water filter cartridge.
