I love it ! Just got it installed on my DR-Z400. Very simple and fits my 4 gallon Acerbis tank well. Takes up a bit of the seat, maybe 2 inches. Solid construction. Tusk products have been by far the best for me. Thank you RMATVMC.
Best single bike luggage purchase! Love this bag on my 525 EXC. Small size fits perfect and does not interfere with some very spirited trail riding in Michigan. Only conn is all my friends with no storage want to store their stuff on my bike. Lol. Also pro tip: with the 525 EXC IMS 3 gal. tank, I needed to cross the front straps before going around the frame in order to not crush the buckles between the tank and top triple clamp. Works perfect!
On my T7, with the one elastic strap installed in the front, the buckles would still disappear down in front of of the tank. I used the extra short strap looped over the handlebars in the center, and the front elastic loop passed thru that one....holds the buckles up perfectly when bag is removed for gassing up.
How is it not waterproof? Totally lame that i have to put a shower cap on it to keep my stuff dry. It's not like it's expensive to have a membrane layer to keep water out.
The large would probably fit the bike a bit better but either one would work great. @@rmatvmc Too late, i already ordered the small. I waited and called Rocky Mountain, but the person i got was not able to help and said to just look at the measurements. I would have preferred the large, but i didn't want it to be too bulky and have to pay to ship it back to get the small. Thanks
Great bag, been using it for 2 years. When the zipper becomes slightly hard to operate, what do you suggest to lube it with? I think it's the Mexican volcanic dust causing the problem. Thanks
Crappy design. Not waterproof, elastic cord on top just gets in the way, plastic top is obscured by the elastic cord and also does not work as a touch screen as suggested.

I ordered a tank bag, love it but I only got 2 straps 👀 head stay and one side looper so my bag rides sideways

We have not test fit these bags on that bike so we can only recommend using your best judgement for fitment.

Probably chapstick or bow string wax after scrubbing it with a toothbrush & water.
