Thank you for detailing the OGA and explaining how people become certified. Certification does matter when teachers are dealing with Tier 2 and 3 students.
How can I get the hours if im not activelly teaching in a classroom?
You can tutor one on one. There are a lot of families looking for O-G tutors outside of school.

I think it is up to you. I personally prefer to be in person, but with the way the world is now, sometimes online is easier for people to access.

How would you highlight the differences between OG and Wilson Reading System for a child with dyslexia?
O-G is the umbrella approach that is the gold standard for multisensory teaching. It can be used with any program. Wilson is an Orton-Gillingham based program so it falls under the O-G umbrella. As with any program, it has a less flexibility as it has a scope and sequence that and 80% of the class is supposed to be at 80% before they move on. O-G is more individualized and more flexible than Wilson but does not come with ready made lesson plans because it is an appoach not a program.

Yes. You need a bachelor's degree.
