Thank you so much! It blows my mind that the Ableton developers could have overlooked something this basic. I just bought the pack, can't wait to start using it!
My friend, you don't know how unbelievably this helped me!!! I have a whole live set in Ableton and this problem with the sustain pedal was breaking my balls 😅 So, thank you so much for this!!!👋🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hey, this is great! However, I'm having an issue with hanging sustain when changing an arm of the midi tracks. Makes performing live problematic. Do you have any suggestions for that? Thanks!
Hey man, I just bought the 'fix midi sustain' pack, and yes it works for pausing the whole set, but doesn't seem to work for stopping an individual clip? When I do this the sustain carries on. Any ideas? Thanks so much in advance!
Hey - It would be great if you could shoot me a short(!) video showing your use case/which exact device/set-up you are using here so I would be able to advise - please send it over via email. blog.abletondrummer.com/contact/
@@abletondrummer I'm having a similar issue. Any luck on figuring this one out? The global stop triggers the plugin just fine, but when you go from one scene with a clip to the next, it doesn't trigger the plugin. not sure if it was intended to do that as well
@@yechi_music I just uploaded the new device into the pack, so you peeps should be able to access via this link when you sign in: abletonkurse.gumroad.com/l/Sustain-Notes-in-Ableton-Live
Yep as long as you have Max for Live (included in Ableton Live Suite) this should work fine. You might need to update your Max for Live version (as the bundled version in Ableton 10 won't be the newest). Here is a tutorial on how to update Max for Live: ua-cam.com/video/yFxC0Tu-dpU/v-deo.html
I would love to have that device, but not buy the whole package that I don’t need... and $15 USD it’s too expensive for me for a device that only stops the pedal :/ I hope you would have it available for buying alone
Hey I understand - please drop me an email and we will work something out - blog.abletondrummer.com/contact/ - Just some background info: It is actually 12 USD (plus vat tax if applicable) and you can pay more but don't have to (15 USD is the suggested price) - It is a challenge to make M4L releases/devices like this 'profitable' - 10% goes to Gumroad, PP/Payment takes 2-3% plus a fee + multiple taxes I have to pay on this - Packs are a good way to create more value for all sides. Cheers

Sometimes I’m playing arpeggios and anytime I press on the sustain pedal the effect doesn’t sound but flat as if there’s no arpeggio effect at all.
You mean you are using an Arp Midi effect and a sustain pedal, yes? Or do you mean using a device of this pack?
Arp Midi
I’m using Arp Midi effect.
