I feel you with getting lost in references, I can't tell you how many times I've intended to draw only to end up continously scrolling through Pinterest cuz I can't find the 'right' ref. It's such a pain lol I love how the boat drawing came out!

Right now it's inktense and coloured pencils for me, I love the texture they give!
Watercolours, fineliners 005 and mechanical pencil :) I also love Polychromos pencils, but I use them mostly as a complement to watercolour.
