2020 Interceptor 650.
After watching the comparison and then going for a short ride, my conclusions are:
The new LED is much brighter in low beam mode,
Turning on the high beam with the new LED add more light to just in front of the front tire (kind of like a fog light) as well as high up (which is too high to make much difference) and gives generally more brightness.
The stock headlight is more yellow and not as bright.
The stock high beam adds more to the low beam light, but is still less than the LED without high beam.
Overall the LED makes it much brighter.
I had a few cars flash me their lights thinking I had on the high beam when I didn't.
Overall a very worthwhile upgrade for about $25 and 15 minutes of time.
It is very hard to find orginal Night eye LED bulb and you are the lucky one to find one.

I think to hold it in place and perhaps keep it from vibrating loose, yes If you can keep it in place without it, I guess you can try and see how it goes. Good luck!
Hi how many LM or watts is?
The box claims 9000 lumens. I can tell you it is significantly brighter than stock.
