Started this channel for some riding videos and to show how to change the RE Interceptor headlight as the only videos I found for doing that were in Hindi. While I enjoyed the Interceptor and am glad I bought it, I just traded it in for a Triumph Tiger 900 gt. I also have a Suzuki DR200se that I rode in the video for Homes for Troops as I didn't have a street bike then.
Why I traded in my Interceptor 650
So I had my interceptor for 3 and 1/2 years. It was a great bike, but it was time for me to move on to something that fit my riding style better as it was changing. What did I get? Watch the short video to see.

Charity event of Homes For Our Troops, August 4, 2019 Old Bridge, NJ. I have another video of pictures of the bikes there as a slideshow video. This was recorded as a few compiled videos before the start, rolling out, and parking at the end. There is much more to the ride that I did not add.

Pictures from the charity ride before the event and a couple afterward. I was the only one riding a dual-sport, a Suzuki DR200SE. Lots of really nice bikes and a good cause.

I was sad to trade it in, it's a good bike, just not what I wanted anymore as I am doing longer rides and like the cruise control, heated grips and windscreen of my Tiger 900 gt. It was a good choice for my first street bike (except for my dual-sports).

I think to hold it in place and perhaps keep it from vibrating loose, yes If you can keep it in place without it, I guess you can try and see how it goes. Good luck!
Hi how many LM or watts is?
The box claims 9000 lumens. I can tell you it is significantly brighter than stock.
It is very hard to find orginal Night eye LED bulb and you are the lucky one to find one.

After watching the comparison and then going for a short ride, my conclusions are: The new LED is much brighter in low beam mode, Turning on the high beam with the new LED add more light to just in front of the front tire (kind of like a fog light) as well as high up (which is too high to make much difference) and gives generally more brightness. The stock headlight is more yellow and not as bright. The stock high beam adds more to the low beam light, but is still less than the LED without high beam. Overall the LED makes it much brighter. I had a few cars flash me their lights thinking I had on the high beam when I didn't. Overall a very worthwhile upgrade for about $25 and 15 minutes of time.
