I love your motivation to do quality model railroading. It was nice to see the experimentation with layers of colors to incorporate a feeling of depth, despite the flatness. This seems like a nice alternative to pouring epoxy resin into a trough under a bridge. Thank you for the inspiration. The rocks are also another technique I need to try. Also, I thought the kelp looks great after the subsequent layers.
Excellent video! Having abandoned my preoccupation with Colorado narrow gauge in favor of a Pacific Coast theme with a wharf and dockside structures, this was especially enjoyable and instructive. Thank you.
I very much like what you are doing and the area you are modeling. I live in Fort Bragg California. I live 2.5 miles south as the crow flies from the western termination of the Skunk Train line, between Fort Bragg and Willits. Sadly as I've grown older, I'm now hard of hearing and have learned to read lips. I use headphones and turn the volume up to hear what you are saying. Sadly the background noise (music) makes it difficult to hear what you have to say. I have played important things several times, to insure I don't miss anything. I know many modelers seam to enjoy putting music in video's. If you can turn the volume down on the music, that would make it easier for the earning impaired to follow alone. Keep up the good work, and have subscribed and turned the bell turned on.- John

Thanks, Friend!
Nicely done. I am looking forward to seeing you change the sea of Masonite to what you just accomplished on your small diorama. - Jason
Thanks. Might take a minute!
