Thanks so much for the shout out hommie… hope to ride together this season… I have a special project coming up soon and when completed my range test will be from my home Yo your area… yuuuuuuuup (got range…?)
correct. once they are fully charged i can then plug them in together and charge using 1 cable that charges both. those litespeed chargers do 1-12amps so its nice to charge quick if im in a rush or 1-3amp overnight
Hi nice you chose 72 volt plus main battery ,in time other makers will follow suit as range is always a problem. I use a seperate battery Ifor my head light so no drain on my 52 v. Bike looks well works for me. Laters . Scott
Those adapter connectors are cheap on Amazon from xt60 to xt90 but all you had to do is contact them before they made your battery and they could have soldered the right cable for you. The QS8 connector is for high discharge and it’s better than the Anderson connector/sb50. Powerful lithium also has adjustable chargers for 72v but can’t be used for ev stations but if you don’t charge at tesla stations you never need a charger that can do both 110 and 220
They told me they like making their batteries with a QS8 and then they can make me any splitter that I need for my setup. Down the road if I purchase another battery from them all the connections will be qs8 which is a much better connector. I needed a splitter anyways. The hard part was the first charge as I only have xlr and xt60 72v chargers. I also have a 220 ev charger that I made a video on showing how to do it with links in the description. But it just takes to long to charge anywhere on 10amps
@@MrCentralDriver the ev stations should be used as a quick charge to continue your journey rather than be used for full charging. Think of how tesla tells you to make stops along the way on a long journey for a example. From multiple sources slow charging is always king but if you truly truly want ev stations at higher than 10amp you have to modified your bike to handle that current. Only one person I know that modified his e fly bike to charge with ev charger and charges way higher than 10amp. Is it safe in the long run? I have no idea but it is possible. I have a alien rides variable charger and put in comments for xt90 but they soldered a xt60. I bought a the xt60 to xt90 adapter. I am not complaining because most bikes comes xt60 so I know future wise it’s gonna come in handy.
That’s a huge ass battery I won’t go that big. I think a 40ah would be nice to go with my 13ah. My onyx rcr 55ah is over kill for the riding I do. And that will keep some room for the controller etc
(I know its unlikely) But if they could make a battery like this, that works with the stock motor/controller for a higher top speed and more range, I'm SOLD
All you have to do is change out the controller. The battery isn’t gonna do anything and I motors not gonna do anything the controller is what allows you to add more motor rpm for more top speed.
It's all fun and games till it burns your house down. J/k. I'm for sure hoping that doesn't happen. I've seen a dozen burn in the last 2 weeks from RL friends/acquaintances and on video. I actually keep my batteries in ammo crates on a concrete garage floor since the first vid of one bursting into flames years back. Plus I got an apology from my gf who didn't like me keeping those ammo cans but I knew I'd find a good use for them. Haha. 40mm and 50cal boxes are great for it actually if anyone was thinking of a way to store or put LI batteries.
I admire your determination with these projects. It's about time battery connectors are standardized. The proprietary chargers you get with some bikes and batteries are usually a cheesy plastic way overpriced pos.
It’s not that much. You’ll have to contact them to get a price and and if you need a splitter that cost extra but I’d expect 600-800 depending on how many ah and cells you wanna use
Powerful Lithium - powerfullithium.com/
Call them for custom battery builds including this one shown in the video
Just got my Athena battery from them. Great guys and service. Best packing ever.

Can't wait! Haha that’s pretty far
Whatever you paid it is worth it since they included a Mr. E-NYC shirt.
😎
where did you get the big front light from ? its amazing
Very nice! Love the extra range I got from my second battery - eliminating that range anxiety is sweet.
I'm betting the 72v charger you're using now may charge both batteries since they are connected in parallel. It will just take longer to charge.

How are you powering your lights without the stock battery
I made a full video on using the 72v system going down to a dc 12v system and wiring everything up for the lights :)
@@MrCentralDriver I’ll look for it! Damn how did I miss it lol 😂

cool vid. i'm a fresno/clovis guy too. so glad you rep it. ... i'm in phx area now. cheers

@MrCentralDriver hey man, do still have the battery?
Still working great
I'm rocking the ORESTES from them, better to lay your bike down for tight installation

Looks awesome dude. 😎👍👍
Now you have power for days… shout out to @powerfullithium How you like the shirt and it fits… 🙌💯💪
Yeah it fits! Thanks

You selling your stock batt?
Yeah just needs to be put back in the stock case. If I have to do the work $500. If I don’t gotta touch it $400. Hit me up on Instagram to pick up.
More range more fun I think the battery looks OK 👍🏾
Yeah it’s fine
I need a stock Super73 cradle/rail!
It's all fun and games till it burns your house down.

We just gonna ignore the power lithium don't have the chargers included?? 😒
These batteries are custom ordered. I’m glad they don’t charge extra because they had to throw a charger in with most of us already have chargers.
good stuff, Sent you a donation, hoping I can ask you a question
Got it!
Im trying to find east coast custom builders

Unhook the old battery n just run the new so we can see how much better
U should get a jackery pro 2000 portable generator to travel even farther I do
I’d rather just bring my adapter to charge at the charging stations.
U should do a road trip with ur ebike to San Francisco
My ebike wouldn’t make it but I have no truck to haul anything
You kept saying power lithium …. It’s powerful lithium lmao 😂
Yeah I know lmao
Like the orange shirt
How much was that 1200 doll hair battery 🤔✌
It’s not that much. You’ll have to contact them to get a price and and if you need a splitter that cost extra but I’d expect 600-800 depending on how many ah and cells you wanna use
🐍 Keeping adding more weight.
I am waiting to laugh when the frame cracks. 🖖🤙
Thanks. So positive for my life
You mess with all these ebikes and can’t change a plug end to a xt60 or xt-90? Come on dude it’s not very complicated.
Is not enough the blue batery power on you bike
