Great to catch up ,,,Laura!!! Love UR felici socks,,,, And new yarn ,,,,It's fun when u find yarn in out of the way places!!! Great memories,,,, Elaine 😍😍😍
Enjoyed the episode and I’m fine if my socks don’t match but I do like your method if I wanted them to match plus the little pop of color is fun. It doesn’t matter to me how much knitting there is because the reality is you as a podcaster have the same amount of hours in a day that the rest of us have to juggle our knitting, life, family etc so I enjoy whatever you have to show. Have a great summer.
I'm definitely team matchy-matchy socks. Your felici socks look great! Thanks for talking about your hiking adventures. I grew up camping at Qualicum Beach. It's cool to hear how different people enjoy parts of BC. Happy summer!
Thank you for a great episode! I knit a flax light as a baby gift after I heared you talk about it on your podcast. It such a good pattern. Definitely knitting it again! Thank you for the inspiration😊
Thank you for the tip about how to make socks match. I really like them to match but haven’t quite mastered that. Plus the little strip on the cuff is so cute!
So glad it's helpful! Another thing you can try is cutting the yarn at the color change, then measuring a specific length of yarn tail before making the knot. As long as you make a note of the length you can start the second sock in the exact same place
I don't care if my socks match or not. I decided a long time ago, that if someone is going to lift up the cuffs of my jeans to see if my socks match-they might get kicked. 🙂 My new project bag just arrived, and I have it loaded and ready to go. Love the whales on it.
So, I’m kind of a perfectionist and I know it would bug me if my socks didn’t match, so I make them intentionally not match. I knit one from the inside of the ball and the other from the outside (not at the same time) so that the color repeats go in opposite directions when the socks are knit up. (Does that make sense?) They are definitely whimsical that way and I don’t have to try so hard to make them match. :) Love your podcast! Happy Knitting!
It definitely can be, but since my items are lightweight I can ship airmail for a reasonable price. Just msg me on etsy if you want a quote or more info❤️
Awesome job, laura!

It was so fun to find! Hope you're having a good summer❤️
I’m super excited for your woodland themed update.
Me too! Just putting the finishing touches on now

Thank you for that, I'm really happy to hear that the episodes are enjoyable - even if I don't have new projects to show every time 3❤️

Oh great! We were there last fall. One of my favorite areas

I'm so glad you tried it out, as I'm obviously such a fan!
I do that exact same thing to make my striped socks match!

I’m pretty particular about my socks. They definitely need to match. I use a similar technique to make them match.

Ahaha that's a great point! Enjoy the bag, I love that ocean print❤️
I must admit I am more traditional and like my socks to match. Just like Jon 😁
Love the Flax Light sweater! I'm going to make one for a grand baby!
Great idea!

Yes! I totally understand
I like my knitted socks to coordinate but not match (basically made of the same yarn, but don’t match). I’ve heard it called “sisters” not twins!
Yes! I've also heard them called fraternal twin socks
Love ur bags but know delivery too expensive to uk
