    Girllllllll this video popped up at the exact right time, I messed up my back last year picking up a dog. Yesterday was leg day and my lower back started getting irritated. My form seemed good, I don’t think I was bracing.

    Spinal erectors are very easy to overtrain/overstrain because they are under constant tension almost all the time. That is why the incline press was invented when the overhead press was an Olympic event: so the athletes could train the press more without keeping the back muscles under tension. Taking some strain to the huge glutes might help...
