As someone who just took up origami yesterday I can say that yes, this is difficult. But with patience, and many rewinds, it is totally possible. And mine came out beautifully with a symmetrical patterned paper it is so beautiful it looks like it has butterfly markings I wish I could post a picture! Thank you for the tutorial!!!
I was able to keep up with him and my butterfly worked very well for me. The trick here is to pause the video to understand each step well, and if it doesn't work out, keep trying. The video isn't bad, don't despair so fast, you can do it ;)
This is more difficult then the common Crain by a good measure. The instructions aren’t really that bad. The butterfly 🦋 just a little more challenging than one might think, but definitely worth the struggle. Thanks!
Stuck at 6:46, so frustrating. I've been trying to fold this damn thing for about an hour now, it just doesn't work for me. This definitely isn't easy Origami from a beginner's pov. Still, it looks great and I hope I might just one day get it right or that another tutorial will help me out.

Don't worry, your hands are not a problem, people need to find a problem when they fail... I try this butterfly one year ago, it was my first origami....
The person who did this is freaking talented and he had done the video properly at a slow pharse i can see his folding very accurately but for the fact the end process of mine looks nothing like his. So the butt hurt ones in the comments are like me who are amateur in this. And i do think he didn't do it in the first try either he is human after all, im gonna retry again and so should all of you

I gave up at 7:25. My paper was thick to even begin with this wonderful creation. I shall try it again with a thin paper so that it doesn't scrunch...
