As someone who just took up origami yesterday I can say that yes, this is difficult. But with patience, and many rewinds, it is totally possible. And mine came out beautifully with a symmetrical patterned paper it is so beautiful it looks like it has butterfly markings I wish I could post a picture! Thank you for the tutorial!!!
This is more difficult then the common Crain by a good measure. The instructions aren’t really that bad. The butterfly 🦋 just a little more challenging than one might think, but definitely worth the struggle. Thanks!

Don't worry, your hands are not a problem, people need to find a problem when they fail... I try this butterfly one year ago, it was my first origami....
I was able to keep up with him and my butterfly worked very well for me. The trick here is to pause the video to understand each step well, and if it doesn't work out, keep trying. The video isn't bad, don't despair so fast, you can do it ;)
Did it! It was difficult but I had to play it a few times to see what he was doing. It's easy if you know the 3d visuals, if you know what I mean. Challenging and fun! Edit: (I'm a beginner but it may have to do with the fact that I'm an artist and I've had many experience with sculptures and paper crafts etc.) If I can do it, you can do it! ^^
I think i missed a few steps and ended up making a caterpillar......hehehe JK! :b thanks for the upload, the instructions are quite easy to follow, will make one or two for a friend or two. :*)

Stuck at 6:46, so frustrating. I've been trying to fold this damn thing for about an hour now, it just doesn't work for me. This definitely isn't easy Origami from a beginner's pov. Still, it looks great and I hope I might just one day get it right or that another tutorial will help me out.
