Bears will eat things as small as moths, and apparently some bears will eat moths found in gravel, so as long as its nearing winter, lil guy gonna get eaten
This is exactly what I was thinking, feels like this story was making rats out to be a “little” more docile then they really are. I’ve seen rats square up with full grown men let alone cats or creatures their size 😂 if they’d been hungry they would’ve swarmed the him and eaten him to the bone.
I love getting two uploads per day, but I hope you guys aren't overworking yourselves keeping up with this amount of content. For me personally I'm just happy to consistently see at least one video per day. Even though I am loving seeing the amount of content you guys are producing lately.
That was kinda cute. Poor little alien! So tiny his ship is dwarfed by cornstalks. I wonder how he would have felt if the little boy had a super soaker instead of a regular squirt gun? Or the kid had a dog!😳
There is a section in Hitch Hiker Guide to the Galaxy where an alien invasion fleet attacks earth, and diving to destroy the planet, are then swallowed by a small dog. Nobody ever thinks to check the scale first :)
Interesting tidbit: In the Pilot of "My Favorite Martian", the reason that "Uncle Martin" could not leave Earth is because he was flying a ship made on Venus and did not have the self-repair feature of a Martian made craft. He lamented this to Tim O'Hara.
This was a fun one, I like this perspective. Could use this as a series, including failed peace negotiations over the ether/radio (not "in person"), where a single small human scout ship is larger than the entire fleet of thousands from the little guys. Once the humans realize the size difference, they invite them aboard a space station in orbit for "in person" discussions. Could even continue the story line with other prior stories where most of the galactic empire never knew of their existence due to such a tiny insignificant planet and they were scanned to be sentient rodents, not space faring people due to the small ships and stations not showing up on normal scanners.
I know that this may be seen as needy, but is there a chance you could continue the 'Humans CHOOSE to live on a DEATHWORLD!?' story? It was really good and I want to know what kind of threat they are dealing with...
@@Gabr1elSL yeah I mean I want a continuation, like the description says there could be, but its well over the like threshold they put and there hasn't been another one since. Then again, writing that much for a part one and then writing a part two could take two months or more at minimum so I'll be patient for when they do release and/or create that second part.
Im very happy i found you guys. Enjoying the stories very much, live reading and the art is superb more of that please! Only been here about a week but im catching up fast
She did. The author neglected to include this realistic detail. Still, it was decent enough to drive 30 minutes for. I even listened to the end. Whoooo!!!
Great story, as always. Picked on by a small child is quite scary, even adults are careful around 10 year olds.... Audio got weird again. I'm guessing you guys record in sets, or chapters? If so, you might have to set up some kind of recording profile, depending on software.
So I like the readers... But, can we get multiple readers for each instead of one reader each? When a girl is doing a male soldier or a masculine man does a little kid it sounds odd to me. I know it would be more work but organizing the stories into parts read by different voice actors would be huge!
The actual story and content may suck. Yet being narrated by by ANYTHING that's not AI makes a better story regardless. However, using narration mskes a badly written story FAR better than the best of stories written and narrated by AI. Call me prejudice, but i stand by my observations in this case.
@@Zwei22no the story does not suck, and the narrator did a good job as well. I wonder when AI is going to be allowed to answer its criticisms directly? That ought to be interesting.
@@KeithChastneythe stories are good, well written, and edited (I think). I've come across some really good ones with not so good titles. Yet, you know what happens when you judge before reading, or assume based on introduction. Honestly, I haven't read any Starbound, Human narrated stories that are flat-out awful. So, far they have all been at least good, and a few... excellent. I read one yesterday about a Human diplomat, and an aggressive alien diplomat finding common ground, and end up becoming friends. I wish I could remember the title because I found it an extremely entertaining, well narrated, and edited, first class story...in my opinion.
Combining comments I've made in a few videos with other comments I've seen from a few other people (on this video and previous ones). Slow down a bit. Take your time. Don't rush to have the biggest collection of stories, when you can make each one even better than they already are. Your writers are good, but you need better proofreading and editing. Give yourselves time to manage that process. Your readers are great, but nobody is good at every type of voice. Bring multiple readers into each story, give the character voices even more variety. This would make your readings even better, but again, it's going to take time and a bit of extra work to get right. Give yourselves the time you need to do even better than you already do with these stories.
I like this dude's voice and style, but I absolutely hate the way he pronounces 'a' sounds. 'Lough, vost, and plonts,' instead of, 'Laugh, vast, and plants,' and so on. It grates my nerves.
If he's so short that corn stalks are like trees to him, he should worry more about cats and dogs than any bear 😂😂
Bears tear up logs looking for grubs and other insects.
@@nachtwaya8721 cats are much more terrifying at that size. Cats are chaotic evil torture and murder machines.

"Friendly rats"
Oh you lucky little guy that they weren't hungry when you found them.

Yeah I'd prefer if they took more time in the writing too.

@raineyoung3291 I dont blame then for taking long, it is pretty hard to make a good follow up to that story after all
I think the story is reasonably well done, cute even.

Omg, the corn stalks soared into the sky...!
At least he wasn't eaten by a small family dog
I can't believe the alien didn't find any bugs or insects.

Anyone else have this as their workout radio?
God help him if he landed in Australia or Africa...

I like those; not all RAWR, RAWR, War, but provifing an actually alien perspective on something normal to us. Well done!
I can only imagine the images prompts 😂
This just remimds me of pikmin and i love it
I'd rather one amazing video every two days than a good video ever 12 hours pls dont overwork yourselves
Honey I shrank the Alien! 🤣 This reminds me of an 1990s movie called "Spaced Invaders" 🤣
Tom and Space Jerry 🤣

Starbound has not let me down, always releasing good stories. However, I do agree with your thinking on AI.
But the story doesn't suck though. It's always fun seeing other races react to mundane things by humans.
