Keep doing what you're doing. Doing something is better than doing nothing. Sounds like a song....

Great video. Congratulations on your progress from when you first started. Your recent efforts (weight loss challenge) will hopefully keep you motivated through the end of the year, then you can ride that progress into the next year and accomplish more bigger goals.

For sure! The weight has always been the thing holding me back, I just need to sort it out once and for all and then build from there!

My average step count is appalling, I work from home and often do not carry my phone with me around the apartment so my recorded number is inevitably under reported, coming in below 100 most days - though I have just completed a 55Km zwift ride where I averaged 120W peaking at 453. I am 62 years old but can maintain a steady 190W once my legs have warmed up and my heart running between 135 to 145 BPM, my latest ride I achieved 6 placement on three KOMs and have achieved first place on a couple of occasions. I am 98Kg, 176 cm
My jobs have been mostly sedentary.
I am trying to remove the visceral fat , and have lost nearly 10Kg since June, aiming to get down to 80Kg (previously achieved that 10 years ago by a lot of mountain walking ). My diet does not contain processed foods and I am trying to cut down on white flour. I drink tear ( red and green ), coffee and much less alcohol than I used to ( one drink a week) - no spirits, food is lean meat and vegetables with potatoes and rice kept to a minimum.
You and I have similar builds, and I would not consider either of us 'average', and only compare ourselves with ourselves and how we feel about ourselves.
A company I worked for had a gym membership as one of their perks, I could get to the gym at 6:30 in the morning, train for an hour and get to work for 8 am. I the 9 months this was available I lost a lot of weight and dropped inches from my waist.
We are both heading in the right direction . The weight did not get put on quickly so it stands to reason that it will not leave quickly.
