- Sharing my bad exprience with Hero regarding low quality product standards, customer service & unethical malpractices!
Hero sold me a faulty bike & despite me approching since first week of buying the bike, still after 4 months comapny unable to repair the Xpulse.

200cc engine from hero is not well designed it seems more like a hackjob not sure when babus of hero will learn.
The bike is good value for money, but given the bike should be trouble free, else it becomes a painful experience for any customer.
mare bike me bhi kuch same issue hai, chain ka awaz ana,speed breaker mea suspension sea awaz ana , bike ka miter console light off hona same to same ,hum bhi hero bike lake paresan ho gaya service centre jate jate problem solve e nhi hota
Exactly bro, i even contacted the Hero customer care & after sales service.
They are neither able to repair nor ready to replace these faulty vehicles.
They should ideally recall all such vehicles & repair or replace. But sadly they have stopped responding as well hence I feel consumer court is the only option left now.
Accelerator leave krte time noise mere bike se bhi aa rhi hai.. ajeeb se awaz hai 3k rpm se neeche aati hai…aisa lagta hai kuch tut gaya engine me ya loose reh gaya andar.. agar koi solution mile to btana plz
Exactly Yash, there is a grunting noise which comes in all bikes, there is this grinding kind of sound which feels like some parts are broken or rubbing against each other in the wrong way. That is one of the major issues I am facing. Feels like coming from the clutch assembly. Even above 10 rounds of inspection over 5 months of the duration the company is still clueless!
Yah showroom wale bahut badtamiz hote hain sar inko sabak sikhaiye inko sirf 100cc ki bike ki hi service karni aati hai 200 CC ki bike ko service nahin kar sakte hain sar

The sitting posture itself looks bit odd to me on this. I rode my friends XPULSE and couldn't ride it beyond 10kms. Your Thunderbird is much more comfortable than this.

My xplus 200 4v some sound from front suspension when passing breaker or off roading and hero not resolve this my problem
Yes bro, in my case after 4 months the company checked & confirmed the oil levels in the suspension were less then the required level (without any leak) try getting that checked, may be that can be 1 reason

Hero company is not providing good bikes and proper service,( all local parts) Hero company should be kicked out from India . Even tvs company also simply they ll say parts have gone you need to change it even if it's in the good condition. They ll loot the people both the companies Hero and tvs should be kicked out from india

Empathize with you... I have two suggestions... 1) Find a good service center - most of the Hero service centers have mechanics who are trained on splendor and have no idea on how to fix XPulse... Get to know a good service center... Hero cannot help you find a good service center as they cannot differentiate 2) Go to a good lawyer and since you have all the data, please go to the consumer court and get your pain resolved

Don't buy low price bike like 2004v ...i got lot of issues....i wented for service in 4 month 6 times for noise issues and clutch issues
Agree bro, i guess because xpulse is almost amongst the first & only few performance bikes in Hero's basket, they are lacking the expert service support, specially in these initial few years

I have read their comment section on twitter…it’s full of complaints and most of the customers are not happy with the quality and after sales service. So its not like you are the only unlucky guy…this is their roz ka thing…they have faulty products and then they make customers beg for services and rectifications. Which is very unprofessional on their part being a brand of this stature.

Dude I'm the first the owner of xpulse 200 2019 so I know better than you the above person in the video is saying all truth but still it is a very capable bike( xpulse> Himalayan) with low quality parts and mechanic , even I had send my xpulse every month there is a defect to service centre even after sometimes service there is a new defect because they don't know how to repairing
Totally agree man, the concept of the bike at the given price is great. But the quality issues in new bikes & company not being able to repair is a major turn off.
Maine bhi liya..Mera bhi issues aa raha hai bht..
First there's missing in low rpm from 4 to 5 thousand
Second, whenever I shift to 5th gear from 4rt, the engine looses power for half a second..it feels like the engine is going to stop
Third the front suspension sound is there,just like you have faced..in every speed braker there's a sound
Fourth the battery issue,,it's strange in cold conditions the battery works fine but in when the engine is hot self start takes 2-3 seconds to start the engine..you have to keep the self pressed and after 3 seconds it will start the sound of starting
Most problems are similar to the ones i faced, it really spoils the experience of buying a new bike specially when your going for a sturdy off-roader

Brother as per my experience it is a risky purchase. Also to update on this, after last inspection done earlier this month by Hero, non issues resolved but further physical damage done on bike by mishandling & bike started having gear box related issue noise as well & Hero is taking no responsibility. The list of issues just keeps growing!

Brother I’m planning to get a xpulse pro, whats your opinion on the pro version?
Bro frankly the pro version seems better incase you are a very frequent/pro off-roader or you feel that your height needs a higher bike.
It does look better than the normal version hands down, while the engine remains the same. While I wouldn't say that all the bikes are faulty but still some vehicles might be prone to quality issues considering there is no major upgrade done by company & I still keep getting DMs relating to similar issues faced by other xpulse owners as mine.
But xpulse still is a nicely priced bike that stands out (but if issues faced, nothing else really matters as it spoils the whole experience).

Bro i also have Yamaha FZ 2016 not a single issue with this bike but after purchasing xpulse I m totally fed up with company service there are so many invoice chain is like garbage. Bhai nai chin mein rusting kaise aati hai I don't know meri FZ mein Aaj Tak koi problem nahin I.
Yes agree bro, they have used low quality metal without any protective coats which makes the new bike also rust real quick.
And gear position indicator is not good technology part is not nice and also petrol indicator does nt show the actual reading it's fluctuate alot
Agree, it doesn't indicate the gear & goes blank when the clutch is pressed or the bike is not moving.
The petrol indicator at times shows bike in reserve even when more than 2 bars petrol is there.

Bro if the company had accepted then they should have changed the front assembly if the company knew abt it and in 4 months if there are so many errors in the bike then who is going to buy this and whenever the bike has been there from the service they should access the jobcards that is when the company will come to know what problems are there.

One of my friends who bought this bike has an issue with Clutch... Instead of changing the clutch parts, they changed the suspension and gave it back to him... He went again to repairs, being a mechanical engineer he told the mechanics in the showroom what they should do and got it repaired... He wasted his 2 weekends...
They change whatever part they have just for the sake of it 🤣
Can u tell me the top speed in each gear. Mine is 1 St gear 15, 2 nd gear 25. This seems a bit fishy to me.
Haven't really tried top speed of each year since of the noise issues, but xpulse does have the first 2 gears short (to perform better in off-road/dirt tracks/trails followed by 3rd year in mid range & the 4th & 5th being longer for sustaining speeds on the highway.
I guess the top speeds should ideally lot be higher than the ones you mentioned though

UPDATE: On the company insisting multiple times, I took the bike for another round of inspection & recieved the bike 2 days later with no issues solved & instead additional damage on tank bottom & oil cooler while them opening the head for tappet noise. I am filing a complaint in consumer court 😡
Today I was told by the showroom owner that their mechanics are inexperienced , they have done whatever they could still problem is not solved, the owner even said ur free to take legal actions. Let's do this together 💪
These guys have the audacity to refuse to take responsibility & the company is equally laid back, what a shame HERO.

Jerking are in all bikes, i had also stated that problem as well to the engineer while inspection of other issues.
He told me that is due to climate being a bit cool so engine needs to heat up, until then in the initial few minutes a bit of jerking will be there.
He also told there is a update coming up to rectify the same soon.
Do ask the service center to update the same on your next visit, hope this helps.

Hero Motors has released this vehicle in haste. Maybe they might have done the testing but, they have no experienced or well trained mechanics in their so called ASC's. It's the best vehicle in this segment and pricing. I suggest buy this vehicle and get it serviced by a mechanic from outside and never look back into the ASC. My vehicle is due for 3rd service and I am getting it done from outside mechanic. These people should restrict themselves to normal bicycles not even try in the field of even geared bicycle leave aside motorcycle

Hero is only good with Splendor... They couldn't even build a good 150cc motorcycle

You said the truth brother. I am facing bike issue in my bs6 2v since i bought it. Service centre are open to earn and loot money from customers. They are way to pathetic in xpulse 200 service. No response from company. The only option is to file complaint at consumer court. After demerging from honda, hero service becomes too too worst. As you mentioned I have done the same things from past two years. I suggest everyone who thinking to buy this bike then switch to some other bike. If you do so then be ready to loose money time by time and also too much headache due to bad service.
My personal opinion is not to buy xpulse 200 either 2v or 4v. It has very poor & unfinished mechanics, engineering and r&d and sevice too. Do not expect proper service and answers from hero service centre.
I just fed up in past two years due to very very bad service of xpulse. Hero service centre is good for servicing splendor only beyond that they are good in bike washing only. Do not expect proper servicing of your 200cc bike.
Once again those who seeking to buy new bike then " Do not buy xpulse 200 either 2V or 4V" instead of that save more money and go better bike than this.

@@karancontrolledinsanity7919 tappet noise is common in xpulse. They thought that it is common and normal functioning of engine. 😂😂😂😂 pathetic. Hero service centre guy's don't even know how to perform proper servicing on xpulse 200. That's why i said they are good till splendor.

Sab kiya brother, no use, iss video k baad b i allowed another round of inspection with no results & some additional dents & scratches the bike came back once again. I think I will be filing a complaint in consumer court, let's see if that helps 🤞🏻

Go for consumer court, and write your issues in chronological order with each and every proof ( screeshot , bills , photos , messages, call recoding and any other type ) .

Rightly said, this behaviour by the brand is the reason why people are sceptical of going for some brands. I am stuck with Hero faulty bike now & will appeal in consumer court since the brand is unbothered

Hero is openly selling faulty vehicles & further damaging the bike in inspections without solving issues.
I am planning to file a case in consumer court bro. I guess that's the last option we got against the company indulging in malpractices & fraud.

Same problem change already rear suspension, injector, throttle body, ecu etc
They randomly replace parts when they don't understand the issue, i had already got the clutch parts changed earlier as well
@@karancontrolledinsanity7919 yes bro exactly i shipped my bike from Maharashtra to all way delhi by transport to get it fixed in manafuctur ing plant to get it fixed but still problem is not solved even 0.1 percent and when i ask for new bike replacement they reply it out of policy when they can't fixed they should replace it now i am planning to file court case against company

Haan bro, the issue is not in all bikes, but mine has multiple issues.
If you haven't faced any issues so far most probably you will not have these issues in future as well.
The oil levels were low while delivery itself, the hero technician had admitted, which led to further problems & this being just one of the many issues. The company despite knowing to thier fault isn't able to resolve the issue nor ready to replace the vehicle.

In actuality they are behaving like that. Don't expect that your brand new xpulse 200 will be properly serviced at the hero service centre. Apart from hero service xpulse 200 seriously an amazing machine. But due to poor mechanics and poor servicing, vehicle owners are facing several issues every time.

Service center me nae nae ladke aate hain jinko sirf oil change karna aata hai. 2 paise lag jaenge but aur 20 chakkar me bhi problem nahi milegi unko.

It's not about one time repair cost but is bike mai aage jaake bhi aur major issues aaye to warrenty will help

Regular using it bro, but battery weak Hui not because of less use, it became weak after coming from the service center.
I also have a 12 year old bullet, i keep the bullet running as well.

I am from Mumbai as well, wouldn't want to influence your buying decision but wanted to make sure people know an Xpulse owner's experience with a faulty bike being sold followed by bad customer service & no resolution(as these are not shown in Hero's ads & promotions of Xpulse).
If you scroll through the comments your will find many other Xpulse owners with a variety of issues(some similar as well) while some having no issues at all so far(the lucky ones).
What I would want to state is yes, it proves to be a bit of a gamble, if one wants to try thier luck between getting a "Okay" bike OR a faulty bike with issues(which could be beyond repair without replacement/refund).
I just want to help people take a more informed decision.

The other option I have is the yezdi adv..but there the after sales is unknown frankly.
Did you go and check ur bike before it went for registration? If u did.. did you take a small ride areound the area and see if it had any issues ?
@@krisindia Again I am sorry I don't have much positive to share on that, Yezdi is in a different phase where in their new machines are in a bit of that first trial mode in the Market & one of my friend (who was working at Yezdi) suggested me not to go for it right away for the same reason as I was keen on buying the scrambler (the gears did also felt very rough in the test ride vehicle).
However, having said that I personally found adventure the best & the smoothest amongst all three models in the test ride & another friend of mine is using it since a few months, shall ask him as well for a first hand review & update as to how well the bike is performing so far.
@@krisindia I did see the vehicle but they don't allow to test ride it untill the official delivery, which is post the full payment & registration.
And unfortunately just by looking at it will not help much since you will need to ride it a bit, but if a person has a bit of biking experience they'll be able to feel the odd behaviour by the bike & make out that something's off about it, but even by then it'll be too late :(
I had reported the issues in the first week itself of buying the bike, but here I am still stuck with the issues(increasing with very bike inspection visit).
@@karancontrolledinsanity7919 a cousin of mine faced similar issues with his dominar in 2018 . However it was settled amicably and didn't go to court. Make sure u take videos of the issues you face and keep a back up on a pen drive and laptop.
If you go to consumer court..hero will end up paying a lot more than just a refund.
I only rode the yezdi adv and found it butter smooth...the scramblers and roadster I haven't so won't know the feel of the gears . Do share your ig ID so I can connect with u. Will need to finalize my buy by Wednesday. If not my only other option is the vstrom 250.

The bike is good but there is a risk in quality standards. If incase you end up geting any issues, most probably they will not be solved. If no issues, you'll enjoy the machine for the price paid.
I am facing same issues. I told the local service centre they told that there is no issue (clearly lying). Asked me to come when an engineer visits and tell him about the problem.
Yes & accordingly my bike have visited more than 12 times since I bought it in last 5 months but they are not able to resolve the issues, completely useless.

I will wait for the engineer if he is unable to resolve I will demand new bike or a full refund. Coz I only get time to visit service centre on Saturday, now I won't be wasting my time energy and money anymore.

Now I'm confused whether I shall go for xpluse or hunter!
Unless your looking for a off-roading specific machine, you can go for Hunter & enjoy the extra 150cc on the highways.
But if you want a dirt bike kind of a off-roading machine which can be also be used for city commutes & short highway rides xpulse is better as it's built for a very specific riding purpose, i.e. given you are lucky enough to not end up with a faulty vehicle :(

Karan, brother I own an Xpulse 2020 2V, I have to confess that I own 60% features of Splendor plus, 20% of CD Deluxe and 20% of The Xpulse.

My 1st servicing was done in 8 days 508km with city n office rides and after that I did nice Off-roading with SEPAL Shield attached to it

Agree with you, but the problem Hero sold a faulty bike & further more thier team is unable to resolve the multiple issues over the past 5 months of me after buying the bike.

X pulse 200 4v and rode the bike 8966kms already in 6 months.
As I am having no issues with the bike l.
No vibrations or any such issues discussed in the video.
So I suggest to file a case against the showroom through which u bought the bike if they don’t agree to change the bike for you as it is for sure a faulty bike

No, even after selling a faulty vehicle & unable to resolve the issue, the after sales manager has the audacity to ask customers to refer to owners manual when asked to replace the faulty vehicle
I had very high expectations from a Brand like Hero...They must understand the paid of buyer And replace the faulty bike right away. It's a hand earned money that people put in there. I would suggest u must share this video with their support team.

@@meriyaadinakshaysingh1548 Bro to be completely fair I have met some xpulse 4V owners who haven't faced any problem & also met lot of owners who are facing lot of issues with the bike & customer service.
It will be a good purchase given the price but if incase you get a faulty vehicle like me, it will be a pain.
So I guess to a certain extent there is the above risk associated with the decision to buy & unfortunately one cannot make sure if the vehicle is faulty or not untill the delivery & by then it is registered to the buyer's name & HERO will not replace the vehicle & in most cases will be unable to repair as well (like in my case).
I know this is not a definate answer but the fact is it is more of a luck factor since the quality standards are not maintained by the company it seems while dispatching new vehicles which kind of makes it a gamble to buy.
