Nia. Dont let your def tank get below half a tank or you'll end up having to replace the def sensor inside the tank if it gets too low . The truck will go into limp mode , you'll lose all power and only be able too go 15 miles per hour, once that def sensor gets replaced. So once it gets to half a tank fill it up again. Just a little word of advice. I would hate too see you stranted somewhere out there in the cold !
To stay profitable got to learn using the recaps. When you accept a load calculate every load at 50mph that’s the prime rule. Then add 10hr breaks. That gives you enough room to make. If can’t make by that rule then turn down the load.
Snow is good. Just remember you’re the captain of your ship if you don’t feel comfortable driving in the snow you can shutdown till it clears just keep your fleet manager in the loop
I just wanted to say Thank you to you and any other truck drivers out there that are reading this. I really appreciate everything that you and the others do!I am glad that you made it to NV safe and that it was only a short stint of snow.Thank you Nia stay and drive safe!Thank you Palm!
All the new cameras are definitely helping with angles. Just recently started trucking myself and your vlogs helped me with steering clear of mega carriers. Got in with a family owned company and it’s been an experience lol. Love the videos keep up the hard work and the vlogs. Definitely like the song choices you put on the videos 👍🏽
Come on man what would life be without a few challenges. Winter diving can be scary, but she will get it. LOL In that sweet ride, even AI will be doing it soon!
Went through some in Wyoming, and I've been going back and forth from Nebraska to Salt Lake the past week. Winter weather makes you a better driver for sure 😅💯 Stay safe out there 🙏 🚛💨
When driving on snow or icy roads, pay attention to the road conditions, and no braking on the corves, just use a lower gears on the manual sitting and brake tapping ,and keep the jake brake off all the time, keep your truck and trailer strait while you driving and when you make lane change.stay safe.
Palm barely reacted to the snow, he just wanted his walk. it's good to get him exposed while he's young. My dog dislikes snow and looks at me like it's my fault her paws are cold and wet. A darn princess.
That was my terminal prime salt lake city back in 2006 . You ll be on I 80 A LOT . Dont play with Wyoming winter , shut down . My biggest scares moments were over there laramie down hill all way to rawlins . Call off for the day . Stay safe nia.
Nice truck Wy and colorago are always dengarous in winter if you can try to avoid be safe i got 25 years driving but dont like driving in winter be safe
Winter is here in some areas. You need to start keeping an eye on the weather. Know what is happening ahead of you. If you're scared, park it. No load is worth your life or anyone else's. Keep your truck stocked with food and water. Get at least a coat and boots made for cold weather. Uggs are not it. You said you got snow socks. Learn how to put them on. There isnt always someone to help you.
Hey Nia I hope you're loving prime I see all sorts of prime trucks coming through iowa hope you and palm are staying safe just remember to be cautious about road conditions and ice. It's not the best conditions to drive in cause of semi collisions that create unsafe conditions for everyone else. I love your content keep doing what you do. May god watch over you and palm
That was light snow lol good warm up to the crazy Winter we’re going to have this year. Wait till you have to drive in inches of snow 😬 there’s nothing more comfortable than having them chains on your tires lol
Enjoyed the video, especially the scenery. Thanks for sharing your angst about the snow, you'll get used to it. You're a safe driver, so I know you won't get yourself into an unsafe situation. Thanks for letting me " hang out with you".😊
Keep the jag and put more in it when you get to the terminal. Also buy a bottle of rubbing alcohol to put in your air lines so your brakes don't freeze up. Pennies for your thoughts. Be careful and safe.
Love watching the sunset as you drive! God definitely blessed us with so many things we take for granted. How are you like the new Peterbilt and those new cameras? Have you bought a drone yet, I can’t remember if you mentioned it or not?
Try and keep your DEF tank above half at all times. Some of the stupidest issues like moisture in the tank will cause unnecessary downtime. Also, make sure you get the initial overhead done on that motor at 50k if it’s a PACCAR motor and if you stay in that truck for awhile get a new one around 300k. PACCAR motors are losing cams around that mileage. My company has had ten trucks 2020 model year and newer have had cams go out. PACCAR has had to extend the warranties because of it. Downtime for that depending what part of the country it happens in, 3-4 weeks minimum. Stay safe out there.
Snow in October. It’s gonna be a long winter. I swear every time I went towards the northwest last winter I was caught in a snow storm that shut down 80 in Wyoming.
Stay safe out there, the weather is gonna get crazy. Make sure you keep your following distathe load. Is never that important where you drive in unsafe conditions.❤
Nia you are a pro at backing up a Semi Truck and Trailer. I like watching your videos because my Grandpa was a trucker but unfortunately he passed away in May of last year.
Hi I like watching your UA-cam channel I am actually from Canada hopefully I see you somewhere down the highway I miss running the western United State stay safe now God bless 😊
Just so you know---you never get used to cold weather---I worked as a super in heavy, highway and large commercial buildings for over 50yrs, and you never get used to it----just keep on layering your clothes and wear insulated boots!!!! Good Luck!!! Safe driving!!!!
NIA LOVE YOU AND YOUR DOG AND LOVE YOUR VIDEOS BUT I WOOD LOVE TO SEE MORE OF YOU AND THE DOG TO IM A EVER BIG FAN YOURS I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MORE VIDEOS I LOVE YOU AND YOU A GOOD TRUCK IT LOOKS GOOD IM HAPPY FOR YOU

Loving the new camera! It’s so clear and perfect that I actually feel like I’m riding with you and Palm!
Drive safe Nia 🤗🙏🏻
Hello
Hi
It's Pom*
Love the camera angle when you're backing up, which it zumed in ,when you're perfecting the back-up
Prefect weather for him, looks like he loves it
I drove thru that storm too. Thought it was going to be way worse but made it out just in time before the road was shut down.
Be safe out there. Always be aware of your surroundings.
And don't ever run out of def. It's a pain to start the truck after. ✌🏼
What is def?
Make sure you fill up the def tank each time you fuel up, the reason in the winter you’ll find the pumps for def won’t work

Great seeing you and Palm again. Unfortunately winter is here again. Hang in there Nia and safe travels to you both. Peace ✌.
I just want to say I'm impressed with your backing skills. So.many drivers today don't know how to back correctly
Come on man what would life be without a few challenges. Winter diving can be scary, but she will get it. LOL In that sweet ride, even AI will be doing it soon!
Camera is awesome, so many angles. Landscape montage was great, it show beautiful colours.😊
Slow and steady! Wins the race every time
