Hey guys, I noticed the mealy bugs on the Subquintuplinervis or Pachyclada while editing. I treated with alcohol and sprayed a few times with a combination of alcohol, peppermint castile soap and water.
Hi! Thank you for sharing your collection! It's beautiful! You may want to look into treating some for flat mites. They can cause stunted/malformed growth and you can't see them without magnification. I spray rubbing alcohol to treat mine. You can also use sulfer. Since I'm a hoya seller, I treat at least once a year. Happy hoya growing!
Thanks for the tip! Do you use straight alcohol? I have a new microscope that I intend to use tomorrow for the first time. I'm kinda afraid to find out. 😂 Where do you live, and please provide your info. I'm always looking for more hoya. 😊
Hi Mona, your video is quite long but i still watched it because im curious about hoya varieties. You have amazing collections, they have pretty leaves. From light green to deep green color and of course, the variegated ones are the most beautiful. Wonderful plants.
Well, thanks for taking the time. I split it in half to help. Remember that you can always return to a video and pick up where you left off. I am glad you enjoyed the variety of leaves!
Greetings from Charlotte, NC! Many thanks for sharing your healthy and beautiful Hoyas with us. You have an awesome collection of Hoyas and it includes some of my wish list plants. Very enjoyable to watch. Happy growing! 👌🪴🥰
Welcome, Peggy! I love my hoyas especially. I love the feedback, too. I spent years watching others share their collection of plants as mine grew and finally got the nerve to start this channel. So thanks for saying hi and commenting ☺️
Love Love your Hoyas I'm working on getting more hoya in the spring I have 14 so far the best one in my collection is the Sigillatis man it's so beautiful when there outside they stress perfectly. Thanks for sharing ❤😊
Isn't it cute! Lol, thanks for watching and the hand sanitizer tip. It was after watching your video that I remembered to check my plant with the mealy bugs!
Oh my...some from big box stores, some from etsy sellers. I purchased quite a few from Gabriella Plants. I have 2 new ones, I recorded my unboxing last night. I am about to put that up today. That etsy seller is great! Look for it later...
Wow! I loved watching this part of your collection. you have amazing hoya! I am happy you were able to save your plants in the green house. I remember when Yous hared the video of the hoya and pagoda texture transfer. that was amazing!!!!!
Hi Mona love the hoyas! I have the h. coronaria but not as full as yours. Actually of all the Hoya youtubers I've watched I don't remember anyone showcasing it. The underrated h. chelsea I think is beautiful with the dimpled and roundish leaves. Funny thing I have a son named Bertoni so I'm partial to the burtoniae! The Hindu rope is a tricky one. I'm on my fifth or 6th try since I started collecting back in 2017. Boy did I have a lot to learn then; lost a lot until I was able to find my way thru authentic youbers and internet! On my wish list is the villosa or glabulosa; the green is so pretty. I'm about to look for another wish list, h. meredithii. I purchased a 2-leaf a month ago but it wasn't healthy looking, very dry and it had peduncle. I did just as the seller directed but it died and, it was not cheap. So I'll see if I could find another affordable one and start out the new year caring for the 70 hoyas with colder weather coming in. Oh the h. India is a beautiful, fast grower! Take care, thanks for sharing. See you on the next! Dee, NY
Hi Dee! I love hearing from you again! Thanks for watching, and part two will be posted by Friday. I love seeing meredithii, but I heard it's tricky. Please let me know if you get and how it goes! Blessings to you and your family this holiday season and in the new year! The coronaria is wonderful! Enjoy your plants!
LOVE YOUR PLANTS. i have questions...what area do you live in, do you use grow lights, what is the name of the thing you have your plants sitting on in the window, what window are the plants sitting in, soil mix, do you ever just sit in that room and look at your plants???i dream of something like this
I live in Maryland. I do sit and stare at my plants a lot. Lol. I have acrylic shelves in that window. I ordered it from the company's website, but if you look on Amazon, I think it was cheaper. I believe I made a video for it along with lights I use. That window is west facing. Sherri, stop dreaming and make it happen. Thanks for watching 👀 🙂
Hoya treasures is where I got mine. I keep getting the name wrong. Go direct to www.hoyatreasures.com to buy. She offers one flat rate to ship. This is not sponsored, btw.
@planttherapy1860 came back to tell you, she had one fitchii in her shop and I scooped it up! super nervous since I haven't purchased online in a while. I'm so glad though because they're really difficult to come by at a good price for decent sized cuttings.

They're the best genus, in my opinion 😂 I hope you are subscribed. Thanks for watching!
Hi Mona,!Yep, my Chelsea is a trooper too❤! Beautiful Hoyas!
Yes! Thank you!
Gorgeous collection! Do you remember where you got your crassipetiolata splash? That patterning is stunning! 😍
Hi there. I found the crassi on Etsy, I believe. I can double-check that for you.
I just looked through some of my haul videos, I think 🤔 it was Hoya Treasures on etsy. I have been buying quite a few hoya since fall.
you have a beautiful voice , very calming. 😀. I 'm thinking of transferring my hoya plants to ponds , too.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Make sure to research the process of moving from soil to PON.
@@planttherapy1860 😊 thank you.
Did you try to transfer from soil to PON yet? I'm curious to hear...
@@planttherapy1860 I was too scared to transfer it. 😅
@lienlienchan I totally understand. Sometimes, it's easier to take cuttings and start them in PON or leca. It's less stressful. I was curious. 😁
Beautiful collection! 💚
Thanks!
Beautiful Hoyas! 😍 ❤ Can't wait to see part 2.
I'm going to work on it later...
I need to get some self watering pots to put some of my plants in.
I really like them. I wish they were a little smaller...
@planttherapy1860 yeah I can see how small ones would be useful
Beautiful hoya collection 😍 upper and lower levels. Love bird stained glass in 🪟
Isn't it cute! Lol, thanks for watching and the hand sanitizer tip. It was after watching your video that I remembered to check my plant with the mealy bugs!
@planttherapy1860 wow, hard to believe 6 months has passed so quickly ❤
@CarlosASMR-Serenity agreed
ok so you are the go to for hoyas for me from now on 😄 lol i love that coronaria. where do you get most of your hoya?
Oh my...some from big box stores, some from etsy sellers. I purchased quite a few from Gabriella Plants. I have 2 new ones, I recorded my unboxing last night. I am about to put that up today. That etsy seller is great! Look for it later...

Oh, some of the plants are in soil, coco peat, and some in PON.
I'm currently on the hunt for a fitchii!

@@melg8475 she includes a heat pack. What state are you in?
@@planttherapy1860 that's great to hear! Massachusetts
Also, where do you purchase your trellises?
I think all my green trellises were from Amazon. The bamboo ones as well but the larger ones from a nursery.
@@planttherapy1860 Thank you!
