Take a 2' section of heavy 2" PVC , fill with tannerite, use a heavy iron to work a hole down in the mud and sticks , just leave top 6" or so sticking out , shoot towards the top , it will blow a deeper channel out , especially in that heavy mud ....
Intriguing video... 👍 I watched a beaver dam of similar size get blown up with one stick of dynamite. It was quite exciting, never experienced anything like it! Dad and I visited this fishing cabin and the owner of the property was there to destroy the dam. It was a sharp crack, then boom, timber flying straight up real high, came down hard in chunks and broken bits. We stayed way back watching from the cabin porch.
This is what my cousin in Mississippi & I used to blow beaver dams with dynamite. We placed sticks on the water side down in a hole under the water light, the fuse, and run like hell. Two sticks would blow a big hole. This was back 60 years ago, when you could buy dynamite for stumps. That was a blast. I had fun clearing darn dams.
Good morning. I agree a few 9lbers, ya'll will have them manageable. It's aggravating when you are use to being steady and you shake when shooting. But like everything else we just stay after it. Be safe everybody. Appreciate you letting us in.
I like the concept of gradually increasing the explosives. Dad always said, "You can't never have too much horsepower or ammunition." I suppose you could add tannerite to the list. 🤣👍
When I was a Boy back in the 50's, all the Farmers and Fisherman used sticks of Dynamite. Every Old Back Woods Farmer used them to Blow Stumps here in Arkansas...
My my I am about to bust a gut! Is there MORE fun anywhere on YT! You guys are cool as grits and so doggone clever. This is engineering, flood control and BOOM all in one I subbed on this one too good got to come back again 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I use a 2ft piece of 4" thin wall pvc pipe capped on both ends. It will hold 8lbs of tannerite. you can bury most of it in the dam an makes an awsome hole.
It’s not all your fault , Jason. Anytime ol sneaky snake has a chance to bite me in the butt, I surely get the shooting shakies !! Hot, wet, itchy, snake nervous, you did just fine!! Thanks for bringing us along.
I can definitely relate to be unsteady as I get older! Lol. Can’t see for squat and just not what I used to be. I used to think 60 was ancient but I am looking it straight in the face.
Now that you've done that, put a little (1/4 cup) liquid dish detergent in the water upstream from the uppermost dam. Liquid detergent dissolves the oils in the beavers' pelts, so they will leave the area to avoid it.
Dawn soap seriously dissolved skunk oil on my dog. She got three skunks but they sprayed her & she could barely breathe it was so toxic. Would def degrease a beaver!
@@brandonearly2963 if Dawn dish soap is poured in close enough to the beaver dam it could help discourage beavers because it is such a powerful degreaser. I was very surprised how it helped get the skunk oil off my dog & it was so bad you could see the yellow oil on my black dog. They use it to clean waterfowl from oil slicks.
That’s alot easier than digging a damn out with a potato fork. Wish we had tannerite when I was younger. Your shooting just fine. You’re just not following thru. You picked your head up when you squeeze the trigger. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
If you got beaver dams ….We’ve got the cure ! Call Hollis Farms we will make the water flow ! 🇺🇸 Thanks Jason, Cody and Jake for placing the charge ! I love it 🇺🇸
YOU BOYS NEED TO GET YOU A FOUR PRONGED RAKE. I USED ONE FOUR FORTY YEARS TO BREAK BEAVER DAMS. DO NOT OVEREXTEND YOURSELF WHEN TRYING TO GET SOME MUD OR YOU WILL GET WET. I WISH I HAD SOME TANNERITE BACK IN THE DAY
I suppose those beavers, if not blown to bits, are hearing a loud ringing in their ears. It would be best to blow big beaver balls to bits, of course.😂
I’m curious how many tick you fellas had to pull off ya. Here in southern Indiana, we have been invaded with a Lone Star tick that is so small you can’t hardly see them on you until they have laid their eggs. This is not an advertisement but Permethrin is the best solution to use from tractor supply. Just mix it with water in a spray bottle, spray your cloths down and let it dry before wearing. Be careful not to let your skin come in contact with the Permethrin, it will give cause a bad rash and burn. This stuff is the best for early bow hunters to guard against ticks and chiggers. Just saying. Great video.
I am the same way If I get just Two Hours I shake like a fellas with The Withdrawal from Alcohol. Then I can sleep Four Hours i that is Perfect for me. It’s 01:47 in the Morning or Night which ever you prefer it.
Set a trap in every one of those holes y'all blew in those dams and you'll help eliminate the source of your problems, then let a trapper work them every winter to keep them under control.
Them beavers will have them damns built back before the next morning.
Nope
wrong
That’s because you think these are city boys like yourself. I promise they won’t be back

Be sure to glue cap on each end , pack tight as possible without airspace inside ...
Great job by all Big thank you to Jake and Cody. Jason Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks
Beavers are the best damn builders around.
That's you off the beavers Christmas card list.😂😂
Lol
Intriguing video... 👍

Those beavers will surprise ya how fast they can build back .

That backpack harness looks pretty comfy. What brand is it?
Drake
Like the replays.
👍🏻
What are you using for explosive
Now that you've done that, put a little (1/4 cup) liquid dish detergent in the water upstream from the uppermost dam. Liquid detergent dissolves the oils in the beavers' pelts, so they will leave the area to avoid it.

Dawn soap seriously dissolved skunk oil on my dog. She got three skunks but they sprayed her & she could barely breathe it was so toxic. Would def degrease a beaver!
If you can plant your tannerite on the up stream side the water will help keep your blast in the dam and be more effective.
A 1/4 of soap? lol in a creek? I doubt that amount would be effective in that volume of water
@@brandonearly2963 if Dawn dish soap is poured in close enough to the beaver dam it could help discourage beavers because it is such a powerful degreaser. Ya'll did good 👍, the beavers will be working over time now.
Thanks
I don’t believe I can hit this thang and boom perfect shot lol having fun and working all at the same time
👍🏻
Great video buddy .
Thanks
Good job 👏
Thanks

👍🏻

Good job
Thanks
great work hollis farms. the beavers are getting evicted slowly lol..
Thanks
Fun video to watch, so I know it had to of been fun for y’all.
Yep
A little bit of beaver crap on your hat. It’s a good day. Nice video.😂
Thanks
What are you using as yout explosives?
Tanerrite
One of these days when yall blow one you will have a water moccasin land by you😅
Yep
Try a potato fork and/or a long handled digging fork when you are digging beaver dams out. Those are what I found worked best for me 20 years ago.
👍🏻
On that first dam I saw a lot of material headed straight towards the camera. Dangerous.
Hi from France, good job, tiring but great . Tannerite is unknown in europe (ban ....)
Thanks
wow
when was this done yesterday.?
👍🏻
I hope you caught the beaver first. They will have them built back in a week.
NO Problem is so big it cannot be cured with the Proper Application of Explosives! Looked like Fun!
Was
Thank you so exciting Aloha all🌺🍍🌴🇺🇸✝️🤙🏽🫶🏽
Thanks
You should always go up top first. The water will help destroy the dams.
👍🏻
I won’t miss this time (video cut) 🤣😂
You need to go back in the evening when the beavers attempt to stop the flowing water.
👍🏻
That would be a fun place to be tonight with a spotlight and a 22 rifle. They will be workin their butts off to replace those dams
👍🏻
If you got beaver dams ….We’ve got the cure ! Call Hollis Farms we will make the water flow ! 🇺🇸 Thanks Jason, Cody and Jake for placing the charge ! I love it 🇺🇸
Thanks
If you can get sxs in there make you grapple hook and through it out on top of the dam and drag it back
👍🏻
It looked like that last one raised that culvert up when it blew.
👍🏻
Given beaver kids some homework. They will have it complete before sun up.
Them beavers aren't too big on moving. They'll just build it back.
What pew pew you using. I like it.
308
If some is good, more is better, you much is just enough.
👍🏻
Ha! Murica!
That last one was enough to concave that pipe on the blast end.
👍🏻
YOU BOYS NEED TO GET YOU A FOUR PRONGED RAKE. I USED ONE FOUR FORTY YEARS TO BREAK
BEAVER DAMS. DO NOT OVEREXTEND YOURSELF WHEN TRYING TO GET SOME MUD OR YOU WILL
GET WET. I WISH I HAD SOME TANNERITE BACK IN THE DAY
👍🏻
Those beavers will have those dams fixed in a couple days
I wonder what would happen if you added a few pounds of ammonia nitrate alongside the bottle of tannerite.
🤷🏻
Another awesome video as usual. Like I said before, it’s a lot more fun when explosives are involved.
Thanks
I use a porthole hand digger and 4 foot of 3" plastic pipe with 11lbs tannerite buried 2.5 to 3foot in the ground makes 8 foot circle 5 foot deep
👍🏻
Buddy I got Dizzy with that Camera swirling around
👍🏻
What shocked me the most looking down the hole it was vines and dark and that explosion cleaned up the hole and then there was light
👍🏻
If you don't kill 'em, they'll be back, for sure.
👍🏻
Get u some chain link fence posts about 2 or 3 ft fill it up and bend the ends over it will blow down better
👍🏻
Great job fellows . Beaver cause a lot of bad problems
Thanks
Hollis farms way of de rusting culverts, 9lb of tannerite and a rifle 😂
🤣
I suppose those beavers, if not blown to bits, are hearing a loud ringing in their ears. It would be best to blow big beaver balls to bits, of course.😂
👍🏻
2/3 still standing. Fixed for a week tho
👍🏽👍🏽
👍🏻
💢👍
👍🏻
Takes time more work ahead on those beaver dams.
👍🏻
Gotta use the old firecracker theory..
Open hand= burn
Closed hand = no fingers.
Bury that can deep in the mud...
👍🏻
Jason i want one of them caps buddy
hollisfarms.com
Thanks buddy
Got to get the beavers first
Nope
I want to blow up beaver damns with my rifle. That looks like fun. 😂
🤣
Next time buy more tannerite because I'm big dams like that one you need at least 20 lbs
Send me some!

Not many. Thanks
I had a good friend that lost his dad blowing up beaver damns.
