Im a son of a trucker it is a hard day every day he leaves every day about 3 and does not get back around 5 or 6 and think all of the trucks for what they do
Hey truckers thank you for driving down the dangers roads for us that we can survive. I am a truckers son give my dad the honors. He has been a truck driver for as long as I can remember and he passed away about 6 yrs ago. I'm just asking to honor the truckers what didn't make it as far as you wished they did. Just know sir, its men like your father who paved the road for men like me to be out here making a living. And thank you for understanding that this ain't no easy job. I'm sure he done it all because he loves you.
Hugs to you and your family and I appreciate what your dad did for a living. Absolutely have mad respect for him and others who drive big rigs for a living.

I wish I could tell you he didn't have any problems not being able to drive anymore but when it's in your blood it's a different story. You are absolutely right! It takes a special bond and lots of love to stand beside your husband. I wish people truly knew what a special breed of men and women ya'll are to do this for a living!
My gentleman is a trucker and has been for longer than I've been alive. He's the most amazing, sexy, honest, hardworking man I know. I'm so proud of him! He's my King of the Road!
This past year (2019) was terrible for rates, even on the flatbed side. Ended 2018 with a newer truck, big hopes and dreams and it became feast or famine. 25 days home, out 340 and I just finished a 17 week turn on the day after Christmas. My God, the babies are losing teeth, getting bigger, having holiday concerts and I missed it all to keep the house, truck and bills paid. This song really pulls at the heart strings, thank you Mr. Weaver. Choked me up and brought tears to my eyes.
So know the meaning of your words... Regular people don't know what sacrifices we as driver's endure to keep our AMERICA "running" ! That white line fever sure is as infectious almost as COVID 😖

My dad was a owner operator for over 45 years and the general public has no clue how hard it is on the driver's and their families to keep this country moving
I'm a 3rd generation trucker now 25 yrs sitting behind the wheel. And blessed my father till driving a truck 52 yrs now. Now my son has gotten his CDL . To carry on a family tradition
My husband has been driving trucks for 30+ years. I truly understand his reasoning. I've been in that truck for many years. I know his struggle. God bless him and you.
Yep great feeling love my kids to death I've been hauling hay for 14 years. I took my son with me this one time out on 40 eastbound midnight about 10 of us lit up light Christmas trees playing tag with the bears running back and fourth my son was 11 when I taught him how to drive a 13 speed in a 385 Pete extended hood lowered watching him watching the road and the biggest smile but very seriously was priceless
Bill Weaver's a good truck driver friend of mine and I'm very grateful to call you my friend and he's one hell of a singer I listen to this music every day that I'm at work and even when I'm at home thank you Bill for writing the music that you write and also buddy it's like I told you before you are the Chris LeDoux of trucking
As a kid I went through the pain of my dad not being around from truckin. I swore I would never do it because I know how I felt. My dad once told me son that white line fever runs to deep in your blood and will join the outlaw life and he was right. But this song is so damn right. I just hope my family knows why I do it and I now understand why he done it.
Great song that hits home! I'm a 3rd generation driver, with a wife and kids at home and this is all I've ever known! It's an addiction! A man may be able to turn a wrench build a house, or sit behind a desk but once he gets a taste of life behind the wheel it swallows him and won't let him go! Manda, I do this for you and our children! Sunny and 75 or rain, snow ice, just know I'm still on my way! The time I start the truck until I set the brake at home I'm always thinking of you and our children! I love you Sweetheart!
Glad to have a brother on the road out here with us like you! Now that we are in touch on FB we can keep in touch! Still brings tears to my eyes Bill! Especially on the worst days on the road #Truckin4Tyler #DoinItForLove!

Being a truck drivers wife is hard. But he does it for love. He wants me and his kids to have a good life. Jarvis Combs I love you and thank you for everything you do for us. I'm here waiting and praying for your safe return.
I'm not even your husband but you speak as my wife and kids do. Just know, we hate being away from our loved ones but we appreciate the love and support of strong women at home.
Thanks for this song, unbelievable the way it explains my life. Nothing more than thanks brother. It's almost like you wrote this with me in mind. I have 3 beautiful kids and a beautiful wife and I'm disabled missing both of my legs from below my knees and I didn't have ALOT of options and I don't know how to sit at home and just do nothing so that's why I truck, to support my family the best I know how and to show me kids that everyone can do something important. Man this song gets me.
I'm 19 years old for as long as I can remember my daddy has been a truck driver I remember him coming home on Fridays and leaving on Sundays and then I remember there was times he would be gone months at a time and I'd cry when he finally gets home and I'd cry when he would leave out I prayed every night that God kept him safe and I still do.
Grew up in this business, my dad showed me everything I know and I thank god for that! So I pull oversized loads now and I hope he’s watching me and proud
My wife n I have 3 children, a son n daughter that we made, and another daughter that we adopted when she was 5. She's the yongest, but they're ALL brother m sisters! We sent her off to college this week and as she was getting set to board the plane, she told us we'd all be getting an e-mail with a link to a song that best describes her feelings for each of us. She also said that she knows we're all family but "thanks to YOU dad, I'm a woman of few words and your song is my favorite!". This is the song that she picked for me. I LOVE YOU ALYSSA! You picked a good one for me!
Bill Weaver I started driving part time in 1993 to supplement my factory job and help pay for my wifes nursing school. We both came up on farms in Ohio so I'd actually been driving trucks way before that. We married in 1987, the day after she graduated high school, and haven't looked back. Now, here we are, 31 years, 3 AWESOME kids, twin 2 year old grandsons, and 5 tractors later (we own 5 Freightliners but my Classic is the prettiest!) and sending our youngest off to college. She wants to be a forensic scientist, a real life Abby from NCIS tv show. It'll take years of school, but, she has the brains and determination to do it! I'd like the song if I heard it on the radio. The fact that she picked it for me makes me LOVE it. Thank you for a great song!
My ex-husband and I were on the road for 19 years, and I really do appreciate truckers, because after having been one I understand why all of you are still trucking across this country. Thank you.
3rd generation driver and last one in my family, it ends with me. Last of a dying breed that's for sure. This song Bill Weaver is quite possibly the best I've ever heard my brother. Keep them coming!
Ive bobtailed thru most states in the midwest. In 25 yrs. Oh. Ran a 5th wheel boom wrecker swapping broke trucks on call for a time. Back in the late 90s. I scared my last trainee out of the truck mid trip. Bobtailing in a monsoon.
It takes a special kind of person to put their families in the rear view mirror, miss out on so much, love miles apart & and even tougher one to keep things running at home. As a truckers wife, thank you to all of you out there trucking with my husband, to the wives & husbands at home, hats off to you.
One of my favorites, and love the new stuff. Been listening to your album since you gave me a copy in walla walla, Washington when you were running boats for ranger. Keep doing what you do my friend!
Truck music is my kind of music. A wonderful tribute to all truck drivers. In line with country tradition. Need more of that everyday. As some of you may know, traditional country music was murdered on Music Row by phoney modern country wannabe artists and music industry corporates. Here are two songs to check out which describes what happened to country music: NASHVILLE'S GONE HOLLYWOOD by Heidi Hauge and Heather Myles and Murder on Music Row by George Strait with Alan Jackson off his album LATEST GREATEST STRAITEST HITS.
Excellent song Bill. Been a long time. Hopefully the family is well. Wish I could make it to MATS this year to see everyone again, but finances just won't allow it. There is one update though....we've got another daughter of the highway due in the beginning of August. So get ready to welcome her to the diesel family.
I drive truck for all people to have what they need and am proud to serve my country when she needed the goods when cov19 broke out. I put my life on the line so people had what they needed. So always thank a driver because if you got it a driver brought it.
You sing the Life of every truck driver I had a talk with my oldest girl and said I was sorry for things that I Had missed IT brought me to tears what she said I thought she didnt love me that much because i was gone all the time BOY WAS I WRONG
Just thought id finally comment here, but i wanted to let you know i click on this video at least once everyday. One of my favorites and the song says exactly how it made me feel every time i turned the key. Keep em coming driver, other drivers need to hear them. Stay safe out there.
Trucking once was a good way to make a living but now its gone to hell.. im miserable out here anymore. Never thought i woild dislike something so much that i once loved. . Cant wait to hang the keys up !!
So true I really wish this song was on Spotify so I can listen to it when I am driving where I don't have service which is pretty much everywhere, I'd love to run into you at a truck stop so I can buy you a meal your songs really hit home for me keep up the good work 👍

I drove local over 20 years, then otr for 5 years. Back hauling local again now. . For the most part, we aren't appreciated, we're expected though. From local delivery to over the road, we're on there mind if they are close to being out of what we have in the trailer.

5 people have never hammered Bob tail 2 states over to grab a load that makes a little more so you can buy school clothes for the kids.
I have
Amen brother
Me to I have done that more than ones
Ive bobtailed thru most states in the midwest. In 25 yrs. Oh. Ran a 5th wheel boom wrecker swapping broke trucks on call for a time. Back in the late 90s. I scared my last trainee out of the truck mid trip. Bobtailing in a monsoon.
It takes a special kind of person to put their families in the rear view mirror, miss out on so much, love miles apart & and even tougher one to keep things running at home. As a truckers wife, thank you to all of you out there trucking with my husband, to the wives & husbands at home, hats off to you.
love the song. im getting teary eyed from the views. beautiful. stay safe out there guys.
PageTheBeast thank you
William Weaver anytime. Keep up the good work
Great update to the song! And I’ve seen those mountains at the pole just can’t remember where.
Thank you brother. Happy New year

Excellent song Bill. Been a long time. Hopefully the family is well. Wish I could make it to MATS this year to see everyone again, but finances just won't allow it.
