i think the monsters behind the Hammer and the switch axe weapon/armor set will be revealed and will also be bringing back a returning monster along the line with a teaser for the next biome.
I think that the new monster will be a dark bird wyvern, maybe a blue one like a nocturnal giant therenzinosaurus (the dinobird with the giant claws) with frost claws
Windward Plains not having Nibelsnarf would be a crime...not to mention we can throw bombs now. Imagine throwing bombs to its mouth...peak gameplay. I personally want Nibelsnarf in Windward, Seltas Queen in Scarlet Forest, and Akantor in Fire locale.
While what you say is true. I highly doubt that Capcom will not put in a Snowy Region again in the base game. Having 2 expansions back to back be Ice themed would be very piss poor decision and bad marketing and deflate the hype. It just wouldn't be smart. I believe the Snow region is in the base game.
It would be cool to jave a demo soon and if the monhun team is going to be in paris then they need to take care cuz after what happened in the paris Olympics its clear that france has a problem.
2 options for the beta either they fully polish the game and announce it at the game awards for January or they release it next month with a bug report/ feedback feature to help get bugs fixed faster. But knowing how they usually do betas one month before release its more likely we will get the beta in January.
I dont want Lagiacrus if its land only. Underwater battles were great, to me at least Funny how they say lagiacrus is a serpent when its actually is just a royal ludroth or amatsu's skeleton
switch axe monster is clearly a mantis monster. the kind of sleek thin spikey claw things and flowey bits i think itll blend into some vegetation in the icy area kind of like a ninja or like chameleos without invis. very cool tho
As much as I want Lagi to come back, saying the quest clear icon looks like Lagi is a bit of a stretch. If anything the frills on its back remind me more of Ankantor which is more similar to Balahara’s skeleton with how it sits in the sand. Not to mention the wing on its back which neither monster has. Honestly I think this is like any Quest complete icon. It either depicts the game’s symbol or the flagship/some monster of great importance unique to this title. Still praying for my boi Lagi to make a return tho I have no shame in saying I am just as hopeful as everyone else.
My copium is Great Jaggi returning. It's unfortunate that Capcom seems to already have Its starter monster lineup though. Maybe a new variant, like King Jaggi or something. That'd be cool.

I think we can expect a minimum of three new monster reveals every month until launch of Wilds. One or two returning monsters or two entirely new monsters ir vice versa. With the left over third monster being a wild card of either a new or returning. I'm also gonna go on a limb and say that the monster for the hammer set will be revealed this month and is like one of two things. Number one and the thing I think makes the most sense. A brand new cephalopod class monster which is something we've seen them do already in a few ways already with obviously Nakarkos, Yama Tsukami, and the endemic squids in Rise. But this time as just a normal monster that's not and elder dragon threat or some pretty much background element A.I. OR number two something I haven't seen anyone suggest. But could match up with that lithe leathery look. Actually some kind of new Snake Wyvern themed after sea snakes.

I don't doubt they could make a monster based on like a cuttlefish or something. As for the snake wyvern idea I'm mainly going off of the possibility of snake wyvern's returning. But having a new snake wyvern that isn't just another Najarala. By basing it off a relatively forgotten about but still super cool snake species I don't think a lot of people would see coming. My guess is that they'd mix its visuals with say an anaconda for the face, and like a dart frog for the skin visuals. As well as like maybe a some kind of hard shelled reptile like a snapping turtle.

It saying in depth on the latest information may imply that they'd want to show the scarlet forest more. You know, the more recently shown off map. We could also see a quemetrice hunt though. I really hope we see the horror bird. There was also a mysterious green icon on the scarlet forest map. Not the wood wood village, I'm talking about the other one people spotted in the previous scarlet forest livestream. There were 2 green Icons that look almost completely different in shapes and shades of green used. Not that many of us want a Loony Tunes monkey for Christmas but we may get it. I would be happy though. It's one of the least likely collaborations but a blangonga X Loony Tunes colab would be perfect. Imagine a Daffy Duck seikret costume and a Bugs Bunny palico costume. I'm sure they could have a fantastic silly weapon or 2 for like the hammer, something, like an anvil on a stick, or piano on a stick as a hunting horn. Blangonga's head looks like he has a purple/frostbite version of the classic exaggerated bump on his head from something hitting or falling on his head. You bring up a good point, ice is the most locale dependent element, by that I mean it has the fewest monsters that can exist outside of its favorite biome type (snow maps) so I'd honestly love to see a few more ice monsters that can exist or like to exist outside those maps. Even if the demo is in January, so it's a month or so out from release again like in the 5th gen releases, they could easily announce the demo release date at the Game Awards.
I disagree. Uth Duna doesn't have any beaks. The hammer itself has a beak. The neckline also clearly shows a face with eyes and a tongue if you look closely at the Hammer armor/coat.
Also i think is kinda weird that all armor sets are from early Game/"weak" monsters and theres no revelation of rey dao armor and he was before, so maybe all armors of apex are waiting for something, i don't think is uth duna
I don't really do multiplayer hunts, my friend. I am strictly a solo player. I will, however, hold a multiplayer event in the future for the community where we all play together. Maybe as a launch party thing.
@RathalosWatch Maybe, but however, either Gamescon Asia or Paris Games Week will reveal any new information within the new trailers before December, I'm not sure. Also, the launch trailer is like a summary of all the other trailers and reveals the title updates.

Like the entrance to the desert zone was dry and rocky, then as you went up it got colder and more forest dense until it get to the ice zone

To me it represents mh3 and its water combat, so without water combat I don't really think there's enough left to have him return in a meaningful way. Imo he is kind of a bland monster from a design standpoint as well, I understand the really popular monsters like zinogre because they actually have a strong and unique design, but lagi is just a blue and purple crocodile :/
I thought that it´s obvious that Uth Duna is the Hammer monster. The weapon doesn´t always have to be exact like the monster it came from. So having a metal beak isn´t a sign that it comes from a Birdwyvern. Why would the armour of a Birdwyvern have floaters?

I think the hammer monster will be a squid/cuttlefish, similiar to nakarkos. The beaks, the eyes, and the hide of the armor makes me think so.

Though doubtful, we could also see a World situation again. Legiana was an Ice monster in base World but we didn't get our snowy region till the DLC.
