    Nice video Mike! The power just went out for a second in my high rise condo yesterday. It went out years ago for over a day! I’m looking for a unit like this tho I may wait as I’m about to start a van build when it gets built and delivered in June. Love your channel.

    I’m putting together an eco flow system this summer with the smart generator I think. I sometimes use lots of power and sometimes I use barely any so I think this will work for me. When I’m using a lot the generator can turn on and when I use less the solar will take care of it.

    Awesome video Mike! I have a small Bluetti powerstation that I got as backup power and use when traveling. Power from where I live is pretty stable for most and traveling is not often too. Based on your experience to tons of these, is there a maintenance for powerstations that aren't used often? Thanks!

    What are your thoughts on the 60V limit for the solar inputs? What is the recommended solar setup to achieve 2,400 watts of input? Is this something that Anker could address via a software update?

    Electric heaters are 100% efficient at point of use as they convert every watt of electricity taken from the wall into usable heat, meaning there's zero waste. In this sense, all electric heaters do in fact have the same efficiency. 🙃
    @19:15 "Electric Heating is super inefficient"

    • @LastLineOfDefense
      @LastLineOfDefense  Місяць тому

      You're correct - I didn't word that as well as I should have. Inefficient in the sense that it is the most cost inefficient method of heating, as compared to BTU/$ you can get from natural gas, wood, pellets, diesel, etc typically. IE if you're going to be heating - there are more efficient ways to do it.

    Hi, Mike! Been subbed for several years. I’m even wearing one of your flannels! I was wondering if you could do a video on what equipment would be required to fully recharge a Surron Light Bee and/or an Ultra Bee while out camping using only an electric generator and solar panels as well as how long it would take. For reasonable portability, what’s the smallest generator and how many panels would be necessary to have a fully charged bike everyday on a 2-3 day trip while still having a decent charge on the generator for other camping equipment usage?

    • @prush1
      @prush1 3 місяці тому

      i just got the bluetti 200L to charge my talaria and power my things while off grid. at 2,400W, it charges the battery and all my gear easily. the talaria only pulls around 500-600W and I believe the sur ron is the same or less. just need to get solar panels to power the generator back up. this thing is 60lbs, and i couldnt imagine fitting a larger unit in my rig. i essentially decided the 200L was the best unit for my suv/riding/camping because of the output for the talaria and portability.

    So I’m debating between this setup and the Ecoflow Delta Pro 7200 watt that they sell at Harbor Freight. With a coupon and having to buy a separate solar panel for it, the Ecoflow is cheaper than the Anker but is cheaper better in this conversation?
    I work at an elementary school here in The Bay Area/NorCal so cost is something I have to take into deep consideration but at the same time I don’t want to fail my family because I want to save a few dollars.
    Thank you for taking time at of your day to read this comment. Wishing you and the family an amazing rest of your day.

    • @LastLineOfDefense

      These questions miss the mark. You should be asking what I've done to glorify God today, love others, how often am I praying, and if you really cared to nerd out, probably some theology questions rather than "Which denomination are you?"... Though I guess I have no idea what you're actually trying to get at, since those questions are pretty meaningless and weird, with no context.
      I could only gather what you're actually trying to get at is "are you actually prepared for the second coming of Christ?" - then yeah, I am.

      I was asking because I wanted to know more about your Christian Journey. You've provided me some great questions to ask. How often do you pray? Do you regularly attend church and help others within your fellowship? I know this is a prepping channel so I apologize for the off topic.

    • @LastLineOfDefense
      @LastLineOfDefense  4 місяці тому +3

      Ah gotcha. Been a Christian pretty much my whole life - my dad was a pastor (chaplain in the army for most of his career), so I was born into it, but dug much deeper to understand why I believed what I did during college and the following years. Have certainly gone through periods where I’ve strayed a bit, but never too far, and then more often periods of not going to church as often as I should. I pray often, but could certainly do more devotionals more often. I’ve read through the bible a few times over, but also don’t do that as much as I should.
