I did 25 years in the infantry. Retired in 2016. 4 combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. 100% VA disabled. They approved my claim within weeks. I will tell you no one should be forced into military service. As a tactical leader you want people that are dedicated and willing to serve. The problem right now is that young people have been conditioned to hate the country. Patriotism is at an all time low. The main demographic causing recruitment problems is rural white kids. Historically, this demographic has been most eager to serve. Mainly because their family members served and encourage them to do so. Now we are seeing a significant cultural shift within this demographic. I think it started with Hillary calling them “deplorables”. Then you had senior military leadership pushing woke BS into the ranks. Rural whites from the south and Midwest don’t see the current political leadership as favorable. Most do not trust the Biden/ Democrat leadership who seems to only care about illegals and fattening their own pockets.
Don't forget the mandatory covid mRNA shots. They are planning to make a lot more mRNA 'vaccines' (they are anything but vaccines.)
It must also be thrilling to see your 'leader' doddering around like a lost puppy while your secondary 'leader' is decked out in skirt/pumps/pears... while sporting male equipment.
If I had a child there is no way I'd let them be served on a platter for ultra rich narcissists to use up.

I'd also say the majority of the young populace is also hyper-informed and capable of comprehending the circumstances of these foreign conflicts for what they are, and while they are so obviously unimportant and conflicts of conquest, which no one in their right mind should be eager to pursue, especially not against another world nuclear super power like Russia, yet, nor conflicts with the likes of Hamas or those that mirror the one's we've already witnessed such as Iraq, and further yet Vietnam. These powers that be, politicians or otherwise are seriously deluding themselves if they think they have any hope of acquiring a reliable draft for their proxy wars. It is almost laughable, if it wasn't young kids lives at stake.

Conscription FORCES people to work for the state. And not just by going to a job, but it seizes their WHOLE LIFE, where they sleep, what they are allowed to do every moment of the day, and can even casually KILL THEM.

I joined the Navy years ago and today I am stuffing from PTSD. The VA has denied my claim. I don't care if my son is on the mandatory draft list. However I want the military to provide my child with a lawyer during the enlistment process. To see if the military is in his best interest.
The VA doesn't have enough money for the vets to whom we owe are lives. We (apparently) need that money to go to Democrat allies abroad.
If a draft is implemented, many " of age"men will begin to indentiy as women...😉

My son has three boys all within the 18-26 age range. I would hate for them to be drafted. One was already going to enlist but not all three of them.
I am 26 have 3 children and pregnant I hope my husband doesn’t have to be drafted … it’s very stressful to think about 😢

Mandatory registration was the law for literally decades. This isn't any substantive change people.

if you're not smart enough to understand the difference between a letter in the mail you have to fill out and send back, vs a letter in the mail telling you where to report to for enlistment, please stfu.
If you have just one child and thst child is a boy,sole surviving son,to keep the lineage for that family that boy wouldn't have to serve.

It's just the registration. Instead of having to complete the mandatory registration manually, it will now be automatic. Nobody is getting drafted! The military is still all volunteer and the draft would only be instituted in case of a major threat.
Thanks for explaining this! Everyone is making it seem like they are about to bring the draft back, but to just clarify it and make sure I’m right, the selective service is only for those that signed up for the military right?
@@MelanieNevaeh227 Nope, It's for all males 18-25 that could be drafted in the event of a national crisis. By law, males 18-25 are required to register. If you don't you could be denied benefits such as a federal loan or not be able to apply for a federal job. It's a list, it's only a list. More info at sss (dot) gov.
