@@MergimVlogsYT Of course I will go there for myself. I already checked the Khlongboat there and it seems it only drives in the opposite direction. I want go there with boat but I must cross the Chao Praya River. It seems from the river there is no boat to the Statue... But I must check again. As I learned: Google maps and Thailand is not always legit :D
@@clivebaxter6354I translated your comment from google. I'm not good at English But I will answer your comments as I translated and understood them. The purpose of building Buddhist buildings is not to make the Lord Buddha proud or happy. But doing it for ourselves, as a person with faith and respect, to make ourselves satisfied and feel comfortable, and not cause other people to suffer, this is what a Buddhist is. As for the use of capital for construction, it does not affect government or national capital or taxes. But it comes from private groups and the people themselves.
Great video! I was keen to see your reaction to that topmost accessible floor, once it was clear you were unaware of what you were in for. It's truly gorgeous!
It is very easy to get there. 1 Take the BTS Sukhumwit line from Onnut to Siam Square, 2 Change the train to Bangwha line, go across the river and get off at Wutthagat 3 From Wutthagat station, you can- - catch the taxi, it is just around 15 min ride - walk and explore through the back alley, it takes 30 min walk
You have not visited the ground floor of the pagoda. Inside there are exhibits on the history of Somdej Chuang's utensils. and accessories of various ranks of the high ranks of Thai monks ☺
Nice Statue and Temple. This was on my bucketlist before already but now I saw the "inside" and it was really impressive.
I'm hoping i haven't spoiled it for you and that you will still go there yourself :)

Thais are proud of the sanctity and beauty of their temples and they should be
Now if they could apply its principals and get out of the skin trade.
why it's a total mis use of funds, do you think the Buddha would be proud?

สบายดีครับ
massive
Whenever i look at a Buddha statue i wonder if the designer or builder puts enough effort in creating the best facial features and countenance.
Gostaria de ter visto o interior deste vídeo com mais detalhes mesmo assim gostei muito. Obrigada
It's the biggest statue to me because it's literally solid concrete painted gold no hollow frame with some bronze hung on it.
Did you have problem shooting with a drone? Would I need permission to fly one near this monument?
Nice video, btw was the Buddha Thai?
You know! The Buddha is not Thai!
