Today we are looking at a many garment bags. They are the best way to pack a suit and a stylish way to travel. Major brands have nice ones but the great work is on the fringes of direct-to-consumer brands.

Great content as always! Picked up the Olive Leather Weekender from Hook and Albert and am loving it!
I've owned the TUMI tri-fold and the Samsonite 4 wheeler and tested them on the road over 5+ years. Although the 4wheel Samsonite is larger, I really like that I can just open it up and it's my closet for the week. So I don't have to unpack my clothes in a hotel room, I can just open the mobile closet up and place it on the luggage stand so it's off the floor and away from any contamination risks.
The most in-depth garment bag video on the internet hands down!
Hi Jon! I've been watching your videos for a while now, and I really appreciate your honest reviews. Since watching your videos, I've purchased two bigger away carry ons, the lat56 suit packing system, an Oliver and wicks suit, and a pair wolf and shepherd shoes. Now I never have to worry about finding beautiful, quality gifts for my boyfriend. Thank you for all of your hard work!
I’m currently in Cozumel and this video is PHENOMENAL. Thank you for all of the info. This is a Master Class!!!!
Literally just looking for a video like this not so long ago. Nice job!
Thanks for the intro on Cenzo! Might check that out.
Dope Video! Sending blessing your way, Keep inspiring!🎒🙌🏻
I swear by my platinum manga 2. Challenge is that travel pro has a huge backlog on parts for warranty repairs. Otherwise, super happy.
Purchased the Satchel and Page bag and it truly is a work of art. Those two bottom pockets are no slouch. Since it is a bifold it can't hold as much miscellaneous stuff as the trifolds but it still has tons of capacity.
How many hangers are you able to fit on the hook? I can't get a good look at the interior hook in the video, any chance you'd post a photo of it?
Thanks for the vid- really instructive
The cenzo not holding its form is a huge advantage.
It allows it to fit into all the airline regulated garbage rules
Great video Jon! Torn between the Stitch Golf (lighter and waterproof) and the Hook and Albert Leather (heavier, looks better, maybe more durable?) - does anybody know how water resistant the Hook and Albert would be? Expect to be carrying it through a rainy London fairly regularly! Likelihood of contents getting wet?
How does this channel not have more subs? Such good detail and effort
Thank you! Always doing the best I can 😊
I think this is the best overview you or anyone has ever done on garment bags.
... which doesn't say much.
Great video! I have 2 questions on the lat 56 red eye bag: What size suit can the bag accommodate? If only I used the packing system for suits (no dress shirts), would I be able to securely pack 2 suits in the compartment? Really appreciate your input!
How do the suits look when they come out of the redeye suit rolling hanger thing. Interested to see how the suits fare after travel in a trifold vs. roll etc.
I have tried the rollup duffles from cheaper companies on amazon ($30-$45) and they are ok but very unwieldy to pack up. These look way better
New subscriber! :)) Not sure if you've mentioned this in a previous video, but what kind of work do you do?
Thanks for sharing Jon. Btw out of topic..have you tried cordovan dress shoes or bags? Wish you cam share input soon
I’m a female and looking for one! Your video is very helpful!!!
Awesome video!
Wow, what a great video!
I’ve been using Tom Bihn lately. Aeronaut 30 liter fir leisure travel or the tri star for business travel.
Jon, just curious, what are the thresholds for when you go from Lat56 up to the Away Carry on? The Lat seem like it will fit the same amount of clothing. I’m usually doing day trips to Chicago/Detroit from NYC and was thinking about upgrading to the Aluminum away. After seeing this the Lat56 may be a better call since I only need a 1-2 suits shirts and a running kit. Any suggestions would be great.

I recommend the Cenzo and I'm grinning like a school boy because of your opinion. I feel like I did something but all I did was Google, lol! Let me know if you want to sell it ;)
Thanks for your very informative video. I’m looking to purchase the lat 56 bag however, the website is not accessible. Do you know where or how I can purchase the lat 56 bag?
Really fun and informative video. I have yet to travel with a suit, but I’m sure the need will come up eventually.
This video is here when you’re ready to pull the trigger!
Would LOVE to see a Vocier review
Do you use the stitch golf weekender as a carry on? Do you get any trouble from airlines or do you end up having to check it?
What's your pick between the Stitch UGB vs one of the Hook and Albert options?
Thanks!
HEY , which bag would you reccomend for 5 days? the suits shouldnt get damaged
For the Cenzo bag, can I assume a 50R suit will fit?
Thanks for names mentioned below on description
My pleasure
About that "once you try four wheels there's no turning back to two" thing... Have a counterargument. The real gamechanger is NO WHEELS. If the bag is too big or too heavy for you to comfortably carry on a shoulder strap until you can dump it onto an airport cart as you go get your checked luggage, you were overpacking anyways.
@TheKavalier I will need a bag to carry 5 suits but I’m not too keen on spending £500 for the garment bag just for suits, Could you suggest any alternative weekend/garment bag that could accommodate 4-5 suits? Thanks in advance.
What you think about Modoker travel garment bag?
I love the Hook and Albert but it doesn't have the slit in the back so you can put it over your carry on :(
Jon, I need something to keep my work clothes fresh until I am done with the gym in the morning. What would be the best for just a suit, shirt, and shoes. Maybe a laptop. Thats all I need. It'll be emptied every night.
I LOVE Stuart and Lau's gym bag. Depends on your budget though!
That looks lovely but I think the Latitude 56 Red eye is more what I'm looking for. I want something that will keep my suits shirt, and shoes nice for the morning commute. I'll work out in the morning before work at the office, then shower and and work.
Yes and if you need to jet somewhere you’re all set!
Just subscribed. We gotta get you in the gym haha.
With that being said, have you looked into
•TheOutlierman another leather bag company . I found that while looking into
•Hook and Albert
•The HarveyTraveler
•Satchel and page
To me the Lat56 bag looks like a musical instrument case. Not that there's anything wrong with that...
Can all these bags be carryons?
What is the material of the stitch UGP?
And the Suisupply suit bag ??
No osprey? Also full lifetime warranty
Thanks for the review. Please make mention of carry-on limits and bags. All airlines around the world - even in the US - are reducing weight and size carry on luggage. The other important discussion point is that quality wool or linen/silk suits are should be folded as little as possible. LA to Sydney is 15 hours by commercial flight. That's 40hours of your beautiful bespoke suits folded how many ways in one space - with shoes and other material crushed up against it. Please qualify your advice based on the type of travel use. The other critical point for your viewers is Tumi warranty is only 5 years and if there is a problem, my experience is they are diabolical to deal with - even for top end items. Other manufacturers are double this period of time and have no problems honouring warranty.
It's a shame the Platinum Elite Garment series doesn't have 4 wheels.
Could you send me the name of the garment bag you can put 6 suits in. Thanks
Tumi
Tome like !
Bad warranty choice on Tumi, Samsonite. 👎
Thanks for informing the public!
If you want to sell the Away one, let me know.
Patagonia MLC Burrito. DARK HORSE GOAT.
DAMMIT I knew I’d miss some
Agreed. Best bag ever, but last I checked no longer available.
Wanna sell your cenzo?
Hook and Albert has been caught paying for reviews and asking people not to point out that the reviews were paid for. Can you confirm, again, that the Hook and Albert review was not paid for?
Was not paid for and that is news to me. Can you send any links? I am very curious.
I would delete my channel before I did a "Paid review"
Saw this on a Reddit thread. Still seems like the products are well built, but are coupled with a very aggressive advertising campaign.
All non garment duffles should all zipper and fold flat like those. Storage is money.
Anyone here used the Briggs and Riley Suiter Duffle?
MAHI leather anyone?
HOOKANDALBERT /. HARVEYTRAVELER
most the time when you see people watching videos about traveling luggage they're not looking for fashion they probably got to travel in a couple days and they need somebody to get right to the nitty gritty. just keep that in mind.
Talk 🦜 to much get to point 👉 what we're looking for not stories 😉
he reminds me of ben shapiro in the worst way possible
Dammit. Deleting my channel now
Awesome video!
