Rolling One Leaf Into One Cigarillo

- I get asked pretty often how many cigars you can roll from a pound of filler but I've never been asked how many cigars can be rolled from one leaf. I'm happy to answer this never-asked question. By the way, this leaf cost about 40 cents and this cigarillo smoked for about 40 minutes.

You, Sir, read my mind...
Got my own plants
Cured my own leaves
Waited for such a video
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I smoke 4" cheroots
Well, this is definitely a 4" cheroot. :)
That's gangster af
As a novice cigar smoker these are the only type I really enjoy. Love these videos
Thanks, that's great.
Beautiful!
Love it
Beautiful! I love those little cigars.
What do you think of Braniff sunbaked cigars? I used to smoke them with an espresso all the time.
A blunt. He rolled a blunt
I’ve been trying rolling pipe tobacco (ribbon cut) into cigarillos. It has been excellent so far but I have lots of issues with the tobacco falling out during and after rolling. Could I wrap/tie the ends or use cigar glue to keep the tobacco in place after rolling?
Well, since I haven't done that I'd have to say Why don't you try those ideas and let me know how they work?
I've been trying out rolling Cuban Sandwich cigars and I found it much easier if I moisten the chopped tobacco a little before rolling (might have to let rest a little longer before smoking). Also roll them long in a binder leaf and then paper mold them for at least an hour. Then trim them after they have tightened up and wrap them.
я всё понял! спасибо!
Пожалуйста!
Was just thinking about doing this.. got some loose leaf tobacco from my local cigar shop basically the random stuff that comes in the cigar box’s as packaging material lol but none the less it’s still tobacco and smokable.. the local cigar store owner saves it for me and give it to me for free so I can’t complain.. was just thinking about rolling a few cigarillos and trying to work out a few flavor combinations with what I’ve got.. great idea
Let me know h ow it goes
It didn’t turn out to bad actually just need to get my tobacco mix correct it’s still a bit bitter and bold for my taste but I’m gonna add a little bit of sweet Virginia into the mix and see if that works better.. and I’m no expert so it wasn’t anything special it burned well tho.. the paper molds are a life saver
👍
hmm i made mine from mixes tried few times with cheaper cigar leafs lol, i think i discovered the secret to some of Davidoffs mix xD
Filler Brazilian and/or Dominican mix, but Binder is Java, and Wrapper Sumatra, the taste is amazing. sad i wont be able to find similar binder and wrapper scraps for a while
i can dig the hobby, i already got ask to make a few but declined, i barely had to wrap 1. (lasted 20~ minutes)
*I remove what looked like the tips, to remove any bitterness and remove them from the roll.
Where did you get this Java binder? I've never seen such a leaf available. Are you in Indonesia?
@@BlissCigarCo USA. Might be Java, Indonesia. (Maybe a Maduro Samatra?) I noticed Drew Estates has a unique taste similar to Davidoffs. Leaves this earthy sweet after taste. I mixed my own and has similar taste to Drew/T52 Liga Pimera & Belgium Cigarillos Gold Davidoffs. Think its the binder that's giving it its flavor.
If i remember anymore more I'll post here. Im a newbie at this but my flavor is cigarillos so im trying to learn while picking off cigars turning them into cigarillos.
Lately 'Leaf by Oscar' has that similar after taste. Beautiful cigar wrapped inside of a tabacco leaf instead of cellophane. Hope u try it.
Can it be smoked right away or would you suggest to let it sit for few weeks?
Right away is fine. Maybe a couple hours in the sunshine if the leaf is too moist.
you sir, just made a backwoods.
Basically true, even though woods' wraps are cut across the veins instead of between them. Here's a vid of me rolling an actual backwoods: ua-cam.com/video/Sqsrqy0Ee68/v-deo.htmlsi=4gvROnyXxPJfHRhn
Waw mantap bang
Terima kasih banyak
What would you recommend as a good leaf for an inexperienced cigar smoker who wants to roll an occasional cigarillo? I like the idea of rolling and smoking my own more than just buying them, rolling a single leaf into a cigar sounds perfect while on a camping trip.
Might be worth trying the Piloto Cubano Volado at Leaf Only for that.
@@BlissCigarCo thanks for the recommendation, I’ll look into that! Got an affiliate link by chance?
@@ChimRichalds750 Nope on the affiliate link, but thanks for asking. One thing about the Volado is that you'll have to prep it pretty well to wrap with it, which is a key skill. If you buy a wrapper leaf it'll be way easier to prep to wrap with, but it makes for very expensive filler.
@@BlissCigarCo I see, that makes a lot of sense. Maybe I’ll get a couple quarter pound samples. One of your recommendation, as well as a wrapper to experiment with. Thanks for taking the time to share some advice 🙏🏼 loving your videos.
@@ChimRichalds750 Sounds like a good plan. Thanks for letting me know you enjoy the videos.
hello how do u cure that leaves?
I don't cure my own leaves, but cigar tobacco is typically air cured in open-air barns, and then fermented.
@@BlissCigarCo if i got it u mean, leaves for rolling dosnt need to be cured, but the tobacco does need to be cured, beside open air does it need darkness?
@@MichoSalamanca No, leaves for rolling do need to be cured. Cured = turned from green to brown. And then fermented, which means made to taste good with time, pressure, and moisture.
@@BlissCigarCo thanks
