A set of really interesting, insightful and crisply filmed interviews but not much sense of cohesion or community about the scene captured in the programme. It comes across as more opportunistic and whimsical than deep and stable as a scene. Perhaps that's what it was... "Garage, a really sexy and sweet-smelling but innocent daughter of house who blew man away with her pirate and club appeal and got wined, dined and paid handsomely, but was soon talked into bed by major labels, loved and pedastalled briefly by the whole UK nation, then dubbed a slag and a sell-out while simultaneously being ASBO'd by the authorities alongside her frustrated, angry, beef of a cousin, Grime. (Meanwhile haggard, weed-smoking uncle jungle stayed in the shadows, shirking on the corner and repping his sound while his more outgoing, successful and multi-faceted wifey (Drum & Bass) helped nephew Dubstep get a scholarship and a signing in America. And all FOR THE LOVE OF HOUSE." There's a full theatre play in there somewhere. Really nice, crisp filming, although I thought that 22:04 'Cast' suggested it might have all been acted. 'Many thanks' might have been more appropriate.
