    Wow!
Not that it could ever live up to the experience of being there… but I really hope they film the entire production for those who can’t be there. I think it would be a real shame for this production to not be preserved.

So glad I got to see this last week, would have been good to see Eddie Redmayne and Jessie Buckley, but Fra Fee and Amy Lennox were both absolutely incredible, this production is amazing whoever is performing in it, and the fact that it's fully immersive from the moment you walk into the theatre makes for a highly unique experience!

I was due to see this last Dec but the performance was cancelled due to Covid so I missed seeing Eddie and Jessie. However, I saw it last night and Fra and Amy were phenomenal! Worth every penny to see this once in a lifetime show. I’ve seen the majority of the major musicals on the West End and this ranks in my top 3 and would love to see it again!

@@Eviii31 not sure where you are from/type of musical/plot you like, but I highly rate (that you can see now).
      1. Book of Mormon - very funny, had me crying with laughter, catchy songs
      2. The Lion King - visually stunning, the puppetry is amazing (War Horse is a must see for this reason too)
      3. Mamma Mia - if you like ABBA, general feel good (I’m not usually one for musicals based on a band’s back catalogue)
      4. Les Mis - classic
      5. The Phantom of the Opera - classic
A few others that are closed and if they bring back would be Miss Saigon, Aladdin, Dreamgirls and Chicago. The only musical I personally have found overrated was Wicked. The others I would pay to see again!
I only have a handful of musicals left that I want to see that are running now and they are Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Matilda and Mary Poppins and some others that are based on whether the production is any good (like Grease/My Fair Lady).
      Hope this helps!
If you are looking at general theatre I can recommend the current production of To Kill a Mockingbird is 10/10 and Witness For The Prosecution. War Horse and Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night if they come back.

Yes, perhaps they did already! But even if not I'm sure any cast they choose will be wonderful. I am very hopeful they will at some point, I think covid has lead many theatre shows to truly realise the value of recording their shows. It allows a wider audience to be reached long into the future, and makes theatre accessible for many who couldn't experience it live for various reasons. And I think well timed and planned releases don't hurt conventional sales either.

They won’t in this capacity, why we love the west end they aren’t afraid to spend money like this, I mean idk who on broadway would rip out an entire theatre to redo it for this immersive of an experience

@@matthamilton875 I do know the Playhouse theater where cabaret is right now is owned by the ambassador Theatre group. They also own the Hudson theatre in New York City. That theater is also very intimate and could be turned into this immersive experience for Cabaret. Rumors have been spreading that this might transfer to Broadway in the next year or two. Judging by how many Olivier awards the show just won recently, it’s only a matter of time before this production comes to Broadway. Plus, if Eddie Redmayne and Jessie Buckley are willing to reprise their performances, it will definitely sell here in New York City! I would literally sell my kidney for a ticket if I had to.

It's been on Broadway many times not least the Sam Mendes production that returned with Alan Cummng playing opposite three Sally Bowles - Michele Williams, Emma Stone and then Sienna Miller. The Cliff in the first cast of the new London production was quite frankly miscast with zero chemistry between Omari Douglas and Bowles played by Jessie Buckley.
