Loudoun Dam or the Watts Bar side so high! Another benefit to the lakes draw down during winter is that since mosquitoes lay eggs in the mud banks, when the water comes up, they largely get wiped out! Other contributing waterways into Tellico Lake include Notchy Creek and Bat Creek - the location the Smithsonian Museum's Bat Creek Stone was found!
