Had a game where the Sathyrelian Bliss spawned. I eventually Vassalized them and made them my Bulwark. They went from Fanatic Pacifist to Fanatic Materialist, eventually going on to declare war another independent empire in early game. I thought nothing of it, but between Mid and Late game I got bored, so I released them. They _immediately_ went Crisis lol. The strange thing was, I think they took the Crisis perk early on, but it never said "Aspiring Crisis" while they were my Bulwark. Soon as I released them, they probably had enough Menace to suddenly build the Engine and had enough firepower to actually stand up to me at times, because that's exactly what happened. Almost immediately the galaxy declared them a Crisis, even though _I was the emperor and didn't propose it._ Sometimes the game is just like "aight let's cut to the quick"
Interesting! Far as I remember, when an empire reaches 5th stage of Crisis, they automatically are put at war with the rest, and an event fires to inform of that. No resolution needed. I assume though, it probably has the same or similar wording to the event you get after the resolution passing.
@illiayanchuk5622 Okay so that's what happened then, thank you for that! I think I was only the Crisis once and it was expressly because I was already losing to the endgame crisis lol
The Tzynn Empire was the UNE's sworn enemy in my most recent playthrough. So much so that they allied with the Commonwealth of Man, whom eventually became xenophile and joined the UNE's federation, a galactic union known as the Alliance of Free Star Systems (UNE, COM, Blorg, Scyldari, Glebsig and Jehetma). It turns out the Tzynn had formed a federation of it's own; A martial alliance of their vassals composed of the Maweer Caretakers and Voor Technocracy, . The two non-vassals in the martial alliance was the Kingdom of Yondarim and it's own vassals, the Kel-Azaan Republic, the Sathyrelian Bliss and Xanid Suzerainty. The Rototavuul High Suzerainty was the only member without vassals. This federation was known as the Tzynn-Yondar-Rototavull Compact. The long tensions between both federations boiled over when a Commonwealth patrol strayed in to Tzynn space. There was a skirmish between both parties, with indeterminate losses. Alliance envoys confronted the Compact in the Senate, ordering for their vassals to be freed and the martial alliance to be disbanded. Soon after, the UNE's crown jewel Alpha Centuari was besieged by a massive Yondar fleet carrying Tzynn ground forces. After months of bombardment, the Tzynn attempted a ground assault only to be shocked by stubborn human resistence consisting of a small UNE garrison with a regiment of Commonealth marines. Europa, it's COM counterpart was subjected to a scorched earth policy with every resource being either moved or outright destroyed once a joint fleet of Yondar-Rototavull fleet. However, instead of besieging it, the fleet landed troops straight away, suffering severe casualties in the face of COM defences. The colony was eventually evacuated, with it's civilians and military remnants fleeing to Earth. As the "Federation War" (aka the Alliance-Compact war) dragged on, the deadly XT-489 Eliminator that were observing, finally made their move from the far rim in to the middle of the fray with one purpose: Purge every single living being.
For videos like these you should put time stamps. That way people can share them for quick reference. Just a suggestion to get those engagement numbers up.
The Zynn were the first empire I ever beat in Stella's. I fought a 5v1 against them and their allies. I lost entire quadrants just to regain them a couple years later just to lose them again. When the first war ended with their defeat their home planet had created a separate empire and continued their horrid policies. I declared war on them again to finish the job and had another 4v1 war. I landed thousands of attack troops on their planet and to this day it is the largest ground battle I've ever fought. I annexed every empire in that war. Afterwards another empire in the other direction wanted some smoke so I annexed half their land. My ps4 couldn't handle it anymore though and I couldn't continue the game without crashes.
Possible followup: What is the history behind the Tzynn's unique hatred of farmers, and their worship of a strange state-of-being known only as "Esss Teer"? ;)
I make a totally custom galaxy and have built quite a lot of AI races so none of these appear. I made an empire called the Skin and Bones Emporium, for Necroids. They're more of a dual organism than a parasitical or undead creation. The Bone organism lays dormant for most of it's hosts lifespan, though can occasionally get restless leading to some uncomfortable rest periods, but are otherwise harmless to their host, in fact they form the entirety of the Skin organism's structural support. The Skin have an average lifespan of 75-100 years, and when they die, the Bone organism will be triggered to undergo a mild metamorphosis, absorbing the Skin's remains, before finally awakening from it's long nap. The Empire itself is Materialistic, Authoritarian, and Militaristic, but I've seen them rapidly flip into xenophile, after acquiring a few pops. I look at this path as the Bones deciding that they enjoy any skin, vs the Xenophobes deciding their original Skins are the only true Skins.
