As a left handed guitarist, I can confirm that left handed guitars do not exist. I take righty’s and restring them lefty.

@@Darcinator-music that was somewhat a joke, but somewhat real. I have two actually lefty guitars, but my main one is a righty I restrung. As for if the restring works well, it depends on the shape of the guitar, but most importantly where the knobs and pickup switch is. They could be in the way of your picking.

I also a lefty but like it's really weird I'm only left handed while writing and drawing but I'm right handed with literally everything else including guitars. I think it's because when I was younger I was originally right handed then I was right and left handed and now I'm just left handed but only writing and drawing.

As a right-handed player who actually started playing left-handed because my lefty ain’t began teaching me & I just followed her example, seeing David trying to play lefty reminded me of when I started playing right-handed. I had only been playing lefty for two months before I switch after breaking my left hand. But I preserved and it shows in my playing today ❤ 🎸

My brother plays my guitar with his right hand(he is left handed) and it was really not that bad he did pretty good mostly good

I tried playing guitar left handed after playing right handed for years. And with me being cross dominant it was somewhat easy. Writing left handed and using utensils like scissors or knives. I couldn’t play perfect obviously but comfort was there.
As a left handed person I told my music teacher I was right handed because the guitar I had at home was right handed and I didn’t feel like re learning all the chords cause he just gave me 100s for knowing all the chords
My sister and I are both left handed, and she finds it so hard to find left handed guitars in music shops.

I got 3 guitar and I resetting 1 of them to left handed. I wasn't really sure if left handed guitar do exist but to be honest I prefer to played and learn with the upside down string because its kind a unique and also it's makes me more freely to play anyone's guitar without a problem.☮️

it's hard af to find lefty instruments - and other things!! growing up in the 90s, my cousins, my brother, and i all learned to play instruments that were easier to crossplay. piano 🙋🏻♀️, clarinet, drums, etc. my mum couldn't teach us guitar at all back then, it was just sooo bad. 😂

As a lefty, I feel unique and disappointed at the same time on my guitar. I currently own a right-handed acoustic, which basically meant the cutaway is useless. On the other hand, it does get quite a lot of attention that I play it "incorrectly".
As a lefty who plays guitar as righty, i can say that u can just tass the strings imversive and study, it is good for classic and Accoustics.

I teach younger kids at my school how to play the flute, and I had a kiddo that brought in a LEFT HANDED FLUTE and asked if I could teach her how to play it 😭😭😭 I eventually decoded it, but it was honestly harder than learning a second instrument

I can recommend it tbh. Im a lefty too and tried to learn right handed for nearly a year and didnt make much progress. My strumming was not good and i had bad rythm but since i switched to left handed i got much better in a shorter time and later got 2 left handed guitars. Worth it

I'm a left handed guitarist and I absolutely hate looking for left hand guitars because most are just re-stringed and it's especially annoying when I'm looking for electrics because the whammy bar gets in the way and the chord is always getting messed up from being upside down all the time will i say its hard to learn left no anyone can adjust to it overtime I myself was born left so not much for me to say but I enjoy others at least trying to play left handed because it's funny and interesting

I don't think the stings would fit on the nut correctly. Perhaps you might need to switch the nut.
You caan change the strings on a normal guitar to make it left handed
