Amos is the most badass anti-hero ever, and being an almost-sociopath is an integral part of that. He's one of the good-guys, who will do bad things for the good-guys without a second thought. To Amos "do the ends justify the means" is a dumb question.
@@n0f8r Yeah, this. He's essentially a sociopath who knows he's a sociopath, and retains enough morality to make the choice to let others guide his actions as much as possible. He's also autistic and *profoundly* traumatised by his childhood, so really, still having enough ethical sense to make that choice means he's basically one of the strongest, most virtuous characters of all time.

AMOS IS NOT A PSYCHOPATH. It bothers me deeply that many people label him as such. When Amos chose to kill Dr. Strickland to prevent Prax from having to do the deed, he proved he was not a psychopath. The act was selfless and done out of pure love for Prax. In fact, his entire relationship with Prax indicated that he feels deep empathy for those he cares about. Also, when he flirted with the idea of having his brain adjusted to prevent him from feeling said empathy for others, as well as guilt due to some of his choices, this demonstrated (via excellent writing-- show, don't tell) that Amos does indeed feel strongly. It hurts him when those he loves doesn't place their trust in him. From the few snippets provided to us through the episodes, it's clear that his childhood taught him the worse of human nature and therefore he places little value on human life, except for the lives of those he loves. This lesson scarred him deeply, so deeply that he fractured mentally. This fracturing likely caused extreme compartmentalization and such a state can sometimes mimic antisocial personality disorder. The evidence points to Amos being a seriously damaged man. A complex one. And one who is not a psychopath. The writers of Expanse are brilliant. One needs to pay attention to another character to understand Amos' plight. Miller stated: “I spent a lifetime watching the evil shit people did to each other. Nothing got to me anymore. But, Julie, I wake up some nights and I see her standing right there. I know it’s bullshit, but she’s right there. She takes my hand and she tells me, ‘You belong with me.’” Amos is an overpowered version of Miller. Both men kill without compunction and have little regard for most humans, but they love deeply and truly. Amos' Julie are Naomi, Holden, Alex and Prax.
Compartmentalization is terrifying, it feels like you don't actually know yourself. It took me 10 years to figure out how to dig those boxes out and I've spent the last 10 years unpacking my childhood. I've finally reached the point where I just have a couple of "blank" spots that make me cry when I poke them to hard. Amos feels like a future I might have had if I'd been truly put through the churn, and it hadn't ended. I'm lucky I had the help I needed, and that the churn is just starting for real now.
i think that part of the story line really showed Amos' true colour, and that short scene when he came back and told the father "you are not that guy", followed by "i am that guy", really sums up what Amos really is love this character
When he told Prax, "you're not that guy..." that showed great compassion for him. Amos knew that if Prax shot the doc in cold blood, he would regret it for the rest of his life and that's why he relieved him of that responsibility. Then, gave the doc the bad news with his classic Amos line, "I am that guy!"
For those of you that don't know, the crew is based of the literary masterpiece Don Quixote. Amos is Sancho Panza. It's easy to think of Amos as some sort of morally bereft psychopath, but that isn't true. Amos protects his own; without thought, without mercy, and to his last breath. Out of a show replete with complex and comprised characters; he's is the simplest, the purest soul, and one of the finest human beings. Thanks to Wes Chatham for breathing life into James Corey's vision.
I've seen a lot of Amos tribute videos. This felt different. It was a little like looking at Amos from the POV of the total strangers and people he was put in conflict with. No context, no knowledge of the person they were interacting with. Just...some guy who smiles easily and is incredibly quick to violence. I gotta say, bloody bravo. It's a totally different context that adds a lot to the character. Damned nicely done.
Broken voice, check. Quick to the trigger, check. Slow on the uptake...not so much. Amos is well aware of what is going on around him, and he is prepared to deal with. Hell of a character.
That music... Utopia... Man that soundtrack was awesome. Good choice. The Expanse is an awesome series. Amos is the man. He's got so many mythic quotes in the books, even more cynic than Avasarala.
You should, and if you like Amos, the novella "The Churn" is pure fan service, his best quotes also come mostly from Cibola Burn (Book4) and Nemesis Games (Book5). You can read book 1 safely without spoiling yourself the show, more can be tricky though.
uhhhh thanks for the info!! I'm conflicted because is nice to watch the show without knowing what is going to happen but at the same time I'm just dying to know XD
I keep on coming back for this particular video. It's perfect amalgamation of music, speech quotes and perfect pacing. All in all great series. Great edit!
Great job. Amos is a complex character, I can remember disliking him for a lot of season one. By the second he was my favourite and this edit really captures some of his defining moments. I only wish you had included his little speech about "The Churn"
Thank you!! This character just grows on you, I started to like him more and more with every episode :) oh yes!! I love that speech! I couldn't managed to use every quote I loved and sadly that was one of the ones I didn't use in the end. But that only means I can make another video of him and use that speech :D
That was really well made. If you read all the prequels you find out Amos grew up in the most brutal environment imaginable, where the quicker you kill the longer you live. It scarred him deeply, but he has the advantage that he knows it and surrounds himself with people who can help him rein in his autonomous actions. He'll get better, don't worry.
Brilliantly edited, this tells a very dark story. It's quite striking how violent Amos is with his actions taken out of context. This is a testament to the subtle infusion of loyalty and pain the character has. Murder Snuggles, never a truer monicker has been earned.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I fucking LOVE fan videos and the fact that people are starting to make ones for The Expanse is making me so happy. This is so well put together!!!! PLEASE MAKE MORE
(^_________________________^) I do not know where to start. I already talked about your special style, but it is something not from this world, it's such an indescribable beauty. Your style and approach to video is a real art. And I'm most impressed with this video, because right now all my thoughts are only about The Expanse, especially after such a great second season finale :) These blinks, these parallels and wonderful quotes make you fall in love with every second of this video. Amos is so badass character, with his amazing heavy story and you perfectly revealed it with this beautiful video. I really love his evolution and his relationship with all the members of the team. I did not expect him to be your favorite, although you like such characters (oh great and mighty Hannibal) :)) I will believe and hope for new The Expanse projects from you. You've got a great start :)
OMG!!! THANK YOU!!! I don't know what to say, it means a lot really :') I feel you, this season has been so great, I can't believe how perfect it is. I want season three now! And yes, is a rare choice of favourite for me I think.... but what can I say I feel in love with the character. Althought Miller and Jim are really close. Miller is just... WOW! xD I don't know, to be honest every character on thi show is pretty great, I love them all :D Thank you so much!!!
Zurik 23M, lads, i just finished the books a while now, and i am still freakin hyped for more, amazin development in the story, new and old characters hold you pants.....it just give me a nerdgasm all over again, i want this show not to stop, 6 books, 7th is coming this year. hopefully they do them all in the show.
Yo! I was thinking, is it really not a Zurik 23M tribute? Finding your comment right below mine made me thinking.... Mmmm "That could mean something." ;)
This show is packed full of powerful characters. Amos is most certainty a bad ass and its hard to figure him out at times. He makes a great friend but a extremely dangerous enemy. A great tribute video..
I've honestly watched this 10 times and find something new to take my breath away. Like if you ever do a Miller vid, I would die all over again. or Bobbie. I mean this show has such amazing characters, I will be thrilled with anyone that you decide to vid, you are incredibly talented!
awww!! THANK YOU!!!! it means a lot :') I'm dying to edit Miller!! I have some ideas already but I need to find the right song to get the inspiration flowing :D and well, I honestly would love to edit almost every character, they are all so great
I'm sure you've considered using more of the Utopia soundtrack?! I've just now been going through it. "where is jessica hyde" seems super appropriate for Miller.
I think of all the quotable Amos there is, "There are three kinds of people in the world; bad ones, those you follow, and the ones that you need to protect." sums him up perfectly.
i cant wait for amos to meet the other characters.....more complex human relationships and interactions, i enjoy amos, because he is true to himself. Great work, looking forward for more, i am so hyped for season 3 now...i waited 1 year for season 2 and now other year....ahhhhgrrr
I'm on my second watchthrough of the series and while I have several favorite characters, Amos remains the most fascinating. You can see it in his face...his eyes. It's not that he's an awful person, he doesn't see the world in black/white. He just can't understand why anyone would choose to be good. It baffles him that they would choose to do the right thing and it frustrates him that he can't make those same choices as easily. Wes Chatham did an amazing job with this character over the 6 seasons we were given.
I have no idea what's going on but as always your editing speaks for itself and your love for whatever you're vidding shines through and this is no exception, the glitch effect just really enhances that feeling of feeling out of place and disjointed from everything around you which I feel is what this character, who I know nothing about, feels! Your editing is always so flawless and you use these kind of effects to perfection and knowing when to use them and when to hold back on them. Absolutely epic and wonderful.
hahahaha I'm so happy that you watched this even without knowing the fandom, it means a lot :') and WOW!! thank you so much!!! I'm still learning how to use effects properly, is really hard to know what will be the right amount of them.*THANK YOU!!*
Thank you. As someone about as 'broken" as Amos, also via growing up in Baltimore, I connect with him on a level that is almost downright painful, and you have captured this magnificently. He so desperately wants to do right, but he's so messed up inside he isn't sure what that is anymore, so he looks to others to know, and when he does not know... that's when things get ugly, because he will do what he thinks he has to in order to protect those he cares about, without regard to morality. Much like him, I have also found a place, in my case as security for a certain neighborhood... mess with mine, and I will show you what nightmares really are.
Love me some Expanse, awesome editing , Shainira. To me, Amos had that lone wolf mentality - do what you need to , to survive. But he realizes the strength of a wolf is in the pack. He's found his wolf pack - and you better not fuck with anyone in that pack.
Wow!! That is just an incredible video... the music selection is terrific & I really like how it just kept ratcheting up the tension. Amos is probably my favorite character on the show, especially in how you can't really get him completely figured out. His commitment to those he calls friends is solid, but you definitely don't want to betray that friendship. Great video!!!
The great thing is that Holden and Niaomi understand and appreciate Amos and that gives all three of them strength beyond numbers - interesting to see if Peaches and the new guy can complement that... looking forward to the next season...
For me, The Expanse isn't the best "sci-fi since ...". It's the best sci-fi show ever period. Due to my love of hard sci-fi, it is also the best show on TV ... period.
A wonderful, complex SCIFI adventure. Great FX, of course, but thank everything that the creators wanted most of it character driven, and they did one of the finest casting jobs for the characters I've seen in a show. Amos I did not like at 1st, thought he was going to be disposable muscle gone halfway through the 1st season. By the start of S3, aided by Wes Chapman nailing the role and all the strength and foibles of Amos, he is my clear favorite. Which is saying a lot given how much I love Drummer, Bobbie Draper, Jules Mao, David Strathairn as Klaes Ashford, Chrisjen Avasarala, Anna, The reveal that he is highly intelligent and often the 1st to understand a situation and what needs to be done, Amos is now the one I tune into the show, to hope the episode has more reveals about Amos and if someone will help mend his mental wounds.
I am one of the weird persons out there i loved Amos from the start when he was that hair trigger kind of rage monster to the now more mellowed out we are seeing this season, he is still THAT AMOS when he needs to be but he has a gentler side to him atm not just rage constantly at people who do not do as Amos tells them to do.
The Expanse is a great series and Amos is the best character in it. The actor, does an awesome job and this video does an amazing justice to both the character and the actor who portrays him. Well done!
Great cuts, music and added visual effects. Really brings out the crazy. Amos is the most wonderful character I even encountered on TV, and the worst part is that in the books he is not like that at all. The show presents him as a sociopathic/autistic kid who grew up rough and learned how to be rough, but doesn't really feel like a rough person. He feels dangerous because he is not constantly threatening. Would be prime alpha material if it came as a natural trait, but it's learned behavior. And his philosophical musings are so fucking great. When he talks about how the small people like him get crushed, without emotion, matter of fact style, while crushing some other small people, once it's you, once it's me.
When I first started The Expanse, I wanted to hold off on watching this video until the show had exposed enough of Amos's backstory. But 3 seasons in and we still don't know a whole lot about his life before the show. It's a credit to your talent that you were able to string together the bits and pieces that we DO get to make this fantastic video. nice work!!
This is the kind of hard s-f that I've been reading for decades but only now have the media guys realised that there's a big market for more realistic s-f. I wish someone would do Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars Trilogy.
One of the things that I like the most with Amos is how his relationship with Jim have grown. From distrust and misunderstanding to be really good friends and rely on each other. Amos is such a good and interesting character and a lot of that comes from Wes great acting.
I LOVE THIS SHOW SO SO MUCH. I'm so glad you are vidding it! Honestly I love all of the characters, so i probably won't complain if you end up vidding them all. :) But I'm especially happy you started with Amos! Thank you for this absolutely brilliant vid!!!

i haven't watched this show yet, but your video is amazing. although the word "amazing" is not enough for this epicness: atmosphere, ambiguity of character, your intention. I'm sure I'm not the only one, who added this show to the watchlist because your genius.
EDITING IS ON FLEEK! EPIC! Also, big creds to you for vidding this kind of song and pulling it of the way you do. I feel like with this kind of music you can just do anything cause it's so unstructured. Well, prize goes to you for doing it absolutely brilliantly every second through
gjgwrgjrwogjwp WOW!!! Thank you so much!!! It means a lot :') I was so afraid that I could "waste" this song making a video that it isn't worth of it but I the end I think I did the song justice... anyway, THANK YOU!!
oh my god. this edit is SO good. I almost finished binging this show and I've just been rewatching your video every day while I watch, it is so dark and gorgeous, holy hell, a masterpiece, honestly.
@@Shainira I saw your reply and so naturally I decided to rewatch your video again. my favourite moment is at 1:23 when Amos is laughing and "choking" Alex when they found out about Holden and Naomi and then it blinks into Amos choking Alex for real when they were caught by the Martians👏👏👏 Amos is such a great character, cannot wait for the new season!
I 've only recently found this, and thought it was awesome! possibly the best character sketch/introduction video professional or fan produced. excellent work.
When i watch all these season 1 scenes it hits me that Naomi was not a good compass. The two of them spend years together in that chaotic relationship, but after Holden becomes Amos compass it starts an almost immediate positive development. Man, season 4 Amos is almost civil and relaxed compared to season 1. God i love this show.
Do you ever, like, feel something. Something like fate? Like it all meant to be? like you hear one quote and you know it all. You can tell this _is_ your baby boy, from just a voice of him? I am one hundred percent watching it now, Sara. Absolutely captivating edit. I don't.. I don't fucking know how to comment your videos anymore. Every new one is so extra. Watched it. Loved it. Kept in in my heart like a cancer until I'm into the series and when it will kill me for sure.
Honestly....Amos is better in the show. Wes Chatham has embraced that character like Heath Ledger to the Joker. He's up there with Omar Little from The Wire. Also....you should totally do a video for each character. This is outstanding...particularly with the Win10 spatial sound & enhancements for headphones.
A sociopath with a good heart but he cant work out what is good or bad, he makes the show unpredictable which is perfect. Has always looked to Naomi for guidance because he believes her a good person, but after what she did i imagine he will be thinking for himself and that could become very chaotic
finally i could watch it!! so loved how you edited this video! all those glitches seemed to fit so gently to the music and the red scenes and the text and everything ... it was so on point and pure art. you even managed to put one of the funniest moments with Amos in and to still turn it into sth threatening at 1:22 - 1:27 also loved how the sound effects match to the rythm of this song. didnt know about this show when you uploaded this and now since a few weeks i'm so in love with the whole Rocinante crew and the many great characters ♡♡ especially Amos is such a fave. it really felt great to watch a video made by you about this highly underrated great show

uhhhh thanks for the info!! I'm conflicted because is nice to watch the show without knowing what is going to happen but at the same time I'm just dying to know XD
He is that guy.
I keep on coming back for this particular video. It's perfect amalgamation of music, speech quotes and perfect pacing. All in all great series. Great edit!
thank you so much :)
@@Shainira Can we get more...pretty pls:>?
damn makes me want to watch it all over again. He's one of my all time fav character (both TV and book). Nice!
Great job. Amos is a complex character, I can remember disliking him for a lot of season one. By the second he was my favourite and this edit really captures some of his defining moments. I only wish you had included his little speech about "The Churn"
Thank you!! This character just grows on you, I started to like him more and more with every episode :)
oh yes!! I love that speech! I couldn't managed to use every quote I loved and sadly that was one of the ones I didn't use in the end. But that only means I can make another video of him and use that speech :D
Honestly...I LOVE that this video doesn't include "that guy".
Though I do love that guy. Cause he's that guy.
@@xArkanianx
It was made before season 3 so they couldn't, but that is an awesome scene
That was really well made. If you read all the prequels you find out Amos grew up in the most brutal environment imaginable, where the quicker you kill the longer you live. It scarred him deeply, but he has the advantage that he knows it and surrounds himself with people who can help him rein in his autonomous actions. He'll get better, don't worry.
Brilliantly edited, this tells a very dark story. It's quite striking how violent Amos is with his actions taken out of context. This is a testament to the subtle infusion of loyalty and pain the character has. Murder Snuggles, never a truer monicker has been earned.
thanks!
The Amos Burton was just DOPE!
This guy is so clear with his thought. Either way he gives straight answers to the point.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I fucking LOVE fan videos and the fact that people are starting to make ones for The Expanse is making me so happy. This is so well put together!!!! PLEASE MAKE MORE
THANK YOU SO MUCH! :DD
Fantastically well done. The music sets the right off-balance tone, and your dialogue choices are haunting in this context.
thank you!

I do not know where to start. I did not expect him to be your favorite, although you like such characters (oh great and mighty Hannibal) :))
I will believe and hope for new The Expanse projects from you. You've got a great start :)
OMG!!! THANK YOU!!! I don't know what to say, it means a lot really :')
I feel you, this season has been so great, I can't believe how perfect it is. I want season three now!
And yes, is a rare choice of favourite for me I think.... but what can I say I feel in love with the character. Althought Miller and Jim are really close. Miller is just... WOW! xD I don't know, to be honest every character on thi show is pretty great, I love them all :D
Thank you so much!!!
Zurik 23M, lads, i just finished the books a while now, and i am still freakin hyped for more, amazin development in the story, new and old characters hold you pants.....it just give me a nerdgasm all over again, i want this show not to stop, 6 books, 7th is coming this year. hopefully they do them all in the show.
the books are sooooooooooooooooooooooo fucking action I love them, really like a blockbuster in bookform
oh wow came from zurik to here. It is a special style indeed
A great tribute video..
thank you!
@@Shainira you're welcome
THIS IS SO AMAZING. It was like a religious experience.
thank you so much!!
I've honestly watched this 10 times and find something new to take my breath away. Like if you ever do a Miller vid, I would die all over again. or Bobbie. I mean this show has such amazing characters, I will be thrilled with anyone that you decide to vid, you are incredibly talented!
awww!! THANK YOU!!!! it means a lot :')
I'm dying to edit Miller!! I have some ideas already but I need to find the right song to get the inspiration flowing :D
and well, I honestly would love to edit almost every character, they are all so great
aimeeck i cant for more... great work
I'm sure you've considered using more of the Utopia soundtrack?!
Great work, looking forward for more, i am so hyped for season 3 now...i waited 1 year for season 2 and now other year....ahhhhgrrr
thank you so much!!! I'm dying to watch season three XD
God that was good. I love all the characters of the Expanse but Amos I love because of how magnificently portrayed he is.
thank you so much :D
“Amos is not crazy. He’s not evil.” True dat. Amos is 🔥.
And like fire, he can be harmful, or helpful.
This was awesome! First time seeing it. Well done.
thank you!
Amos is played by Wes perfectly, it's just how my mind's eye see the character. I cannot wait to see Amos with Claire!
You mean Peaches?
I'm on my second watchthrough of the series and while I have several favorite characters, Amos remains the most fascinating. You can see it in his face...his eyes.
It's not that he's an awful person, he doesn't see the world in black/white. He just can't understand why anyone would choose to be good. It baffles him that they would choose to do the right thing and it frustrates him that he can't make those same choices as easily.
Wes Chatham did an amazing job with this character over the 6 seasons we were given.
This tribute is thil king. "Exactly!"
Absolutely epic and wonderful.
hahahaha I'm so happy that you watched this even without knowing the fandom, it means a lot :')
and WOW!! thank you so much!!! I'm still learning how to use effects properly, is really hard to know what will be the right amount of them.*THANK YOU!!*
One of my favorite characters from the books and the show is beautiful in how it represents him.
God can always forgive... As lame and often said as that might sound... It is true...
Love Amos omg, this show doesn't get the attention it deserves
thanks!!! This show is so amazing
Amos is like Daryll Dixon except much more darker, love it.
Love me some Expanse, awesome editing , Shainira.
To me, Amos had that lone wolf mentality - do what you need to , to survive. But he realizes the strength of a wolf is in the pack. He's found his wolf pack - and you better not fuck with anyone in that pack.
thank you so much!!
Thank you! :D
"How many times have you watched this?" is a more accurate question for me. The answer remains the same.
The video made me dizzy with all the wobbles... The audio is mind blowing, loved that
The great thing is that Holden and Niaomi understand and appreciate Amos and that gives all three of them strength beyond numbers - interesting to see if Peaches and the new guy can complement that... looking forward to the next season...
Amos is by far my favorite character on the show. It’s like, he’s sees injustice so he punches it.
For me, The Expanse isn't the best "sci-fi since ...". It's the best sci-fi show ever period. Due to my love of hard sci-fi, it is also the best show on TV ... period.
@Sopwith Camel
Farscape was my first, that's WAS until The Expanse came along. Agree/Disagree?
A wonderful, complex SCIFI adventure. Great FX, of course, but thank everything that the creators wanted most of it character driven, and they did one of the finest casting jobs for the characters I've seen in a show. Amos I did not like at 1st, thought he was going to be disposable muscle gone halfway through the 1st season. By the start of S3, aided by Wes Chapman nailing the role and all the strength and foibles of Amos, he is my clear favorite. Which is saying a lot given how much I love Drummer, Bobbie Draper, Jules Mao, David Strathairn as Klaes Ashford, Chrisjen Avasarala, Anna, The reveal that he is highly intelligent and often the 1st to understand a situation and what needs to be done, Amos is now the one I tune into the show, to hope the episode has more reveals about Amos and if someone will help mend his mental wounds.
still come back to this every couple of months. love amos great edit my friend
thank you :')
Well done!
thanks! :D
Oooh so nice. I love Amos. He's had an amazing journey. He is that guy.
It's a credit to your talent that you were able to string together the bits and pieces that we DO get to make this fantastic video. nice work!!
True, we still only know so little of him but I'm living for every glimpse of the past we get. Thank you so much! :')
This video is the best compilation about Amos. I absolutely love it!
kfjakñfjadñfjdgñj THANK YOU!! :DD
You can't be as honest as Amos and expect to survive, unless you're Amos and weaponized it in order to survive. Or should I say Timmy.
This is the kind of hard s-f that I've been reading for decades but only now have the media guys realised that there's a big market for more realistic s-f. I wish someone would do Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars Trilogy.
Fuck, this is incredible! I was just thinking about what a fascinating character Amos is and you really captured that. Another brilliant video!
afdkfkdfgsjgjñfgjfñgj THANK YOU!!! :DD
Good edit, mate. The soundtrack Utopia just made it way better, and the pacing was perfectly executed
God I never felt fear for Amos. Always saw him like a puppy that still needed training xD But after this video? =O *runs away in fear*
oh my, sorry! XD
Love me some Amos. The dude is fine. Scary, but fine. Great edit. Thanks for posting.
thank you!
YAY!!! THANK YOU!!!! Another fan of the show :')
I would love to edit them all honestly, there are so many amazing characters on this show. Thank you sooo much!! It means alot you like it :')
MoonCalledA amos, is a surviver, ,if every is burn to the ground, he is the last man standing.
Even Holden? It would just be a 3 minute video of him looking in pain.
One of the best characters in fiction, and a great edit. Cheers!
thank you! :)
This was brilliant, favorite part is the back to back chokehold scenes. Thanks for thus
thank you :')
i haven't watched this show yet, but your video is amazing. although the word "amazing" is not enough for this epicness: atmosphere, ambiguity of character, your intention. I'm sure I'm not the only one, who added this show to the watchlist because your genius.
awww!!! thank you!!! I hope you'll like the show :D
By far the best chracher ark in the show. A complicated man just trying to make sense of it all.
this is the best series ever amos and camina are the 2 best actors ever. it just blows my mind with every episode.
It means a lot :')
I was so afraid that I could "waste" this song making a video that it isn't worth of it but I the end I think I did the song justice... anyway, THANK YOU!!
Thank god for you. I’ve been searching for expanse edits for a while now after the season three edit. UA-cam was my last hope. Thank you!
you're welcome! Happy you liked it :)
Thank you for making something so freaking wonderful... I've watched this a few too many times
thank you so much!! I'm so glad you like it :DD
Very impressive editing and sound selection, a very interesting look at an intensively interesting character!
thank you so much :)
holy SHITSNACKS!
THIS IS SOME OF THE BEST EDITING I HAVE EVER SEEN AND ONE OF THE MOST ENTHRALLING FAN VIDEO/CHARACTER STUDY I HAVE EVER WATCHED!!!

OMG!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
this is incredible!
thank you!
That was incredibly impressive! Wow! You have style and talent Shainira.
thank you!! :DD
I imagine getting hit by Amos is about like having a supernova in your face, while standing on exploding sun in question.
oh my god. this edit is SO good. I almost finished binging this show and I've just been rewatching your video every day while I watch, it is so dark and gorgeous, holy hell, a masterpiece, honestly.
aaaahhhhh thank you soo much!! It means a lot :')
@@Shainira I saw your reply and so naturally I decided to rewatch your video again. my favourite moment is at 1:23 when Amos is laughing and "choking" Alex when they found out about Holden and Naomi and then it blinks into Amos choking Alex for real when they were caught by the Martians👏👏👏
Amos is such a great character, cannot wait for the new season!
It is so great! I don't know nothing about this show, but from now, I'm in love with it ^^
hahahaha THANK YOU!!! You should watch it, is amazing
Was looking for a particular moment featuring Amos - stumbled upon this amazing video. Really good job.
thanks!
I 've only recently found this, and thought it was awesome! possibly the best character sketch/introduction video professional or fan produced. excellent work.
Thank you so much :')
This show is on my to watch list and you just sold me on bumping it up.
YAS!!!!! Tell me what you think once you watch it :D
We all want to be like that real boy again in our own little ways.
Watched it. Loved it. Kept in in my heart like a cancer until I'm into the series and when it will kill me for sure.
asjsafjadgjdñghdñbgfñhjñghdgñ Thank you sooo much!!!! I'm blushing right now :')
you can do whatever you feel is right to do now! 🐸
This montage is beyond epic!
thanks!
Damn what a sick random video of amos in my feed. loved it.
thanks :)
Amos is the most interesting character!
BTW, The Expanse is saved!
"I am that guy." One of my favorite scene of season 3.
"Get him under control!"
Scary thing is that Amos does maintain control under his own definitions. Think how scary he'd be if he ever stopped.
Honestly....Amos is better in the show. Wes Chatham has embraced that character like Heath Ledger to the Joker. He's up there with Omar Little from The Wire.
Also....you should totally do a video for each character. This is outstanding...particularly with the Win10 spatial sound & enhancements for headphones.
thank you!! :')
This video is so special and wonderful, thanks so much, it makes me goosebumps!
awww!! thank you
A sociopath with a good heart but he cant work out what is good or bad, he makes the show unpredictable which is perfect. Has always looked to Naomi for guidance because he believes her a good person, but after what she did i imagine he will be thinking for himself and that could become very chaotic
finally i could watch it!! so loved how you edited this video! all those glitches seemed to fit so gently to the music and the red scenes and the text and everything ... it was so on point and pure art. you even managed to put one of the funniest moments with Amos in and to still turn it into sth threatening at 1:22 - 1:27 also loved how the sound effects match to the rythm of this song. didnt know about this show when you uploaded this and now since a few weeks i'm so in love with the whole Rocinante crew and the many great characters ♡♡ especially Amos is such a fave. it really felt great to watch a video made by you about this highly underrated great show
thank you sooo much! :')
this is the best expanse fan video currently created holy shit
subbed
kfejvldjvsñvjsflñbjfñbnjf THANK YOU!!! ^________^
this is awesome; Amos is my favorite and you did right by him with this video! I can only imagine what it would look like to see a collage of Expanse starship battle scenes put together in a similarly epic fashion!
thank you!! I hope to get inspired to make more videos with The Expanse ^^
