What. A. Character. Beautifully portrayed by Wes Chatam. There's so much depth in him, the character, and his performance. You can see it from the moment he appears in the show.
The best things is he had read the books and really wanted this part - and he got it. Such an amazing show and such an amazing character so perfectly portrayed Best SF series ever

Awesome edit. Wes Chatham the actor who plays Amos is currently (April 2023) 44 years old. He was 38 during filming of season 1, and in his 40s for season 3. If that doesn't make you feel old idk what will
I can't find the words to describe how i feel about this series but if i had to choose one right now it'd be Deep. Every single person that contributed in the creation of this masterpiece has my gratitude. Watching the transition of Amos through the series was unlike something I've ever witnessed. I'm pressed to think of another actor who has done what he has done. Seeing the joy in Wes's face when he was interviewed by Adam Savage was wholesome af aswell. I find the backing music a lil on the loud side but i appreciate you putting this together.
This is incredible! You chose amazing scenes that show this beloved character in so many different angles. Just amazing editing. Thank you for sharing this. ❤
I wish The Expanse would return sometime and complete the story. I want to see that Amos and Teresa Duarte's duo on screen. With only Wes Chatham as Amos of course.
Watching Amos develop or change or grow through the series is one of my favorite parts, he is a good actor to portray the character. I have watched the series 3-4 times.. and I have read about 6 of the books.. lost track, because I stopped reading then a few years back, I prefer to be able to binge read I guess, so I will catch up eventually.... Kinda like with JRR Martin, I read all the books, and then the FAT Basterd has never written the next book after more than 10 years... GRRRRRR
"People like us. The things we do, it's not just on us. This world is messed up. And it can mess you up. I was lucky, I had somebody to help me." Amos to Clarissa.
You really needed to turn down the song you played over most of the dialog , when you can't hear less than half the iconic lines kinda makes this video pointless
This is a beautiful character study. Amos is such a layered character and you really nailed that here. Great work.

Watching this, I'm even more sad that we never got to the end of the story on Prime, yet it still was a marvellous ride.
Honestly it's the one gap in a story where a reboot 30 years later would be perfect
Somewhere between Chaotic Neutral and Chaotic Good, there's Amos...
I really miss this show... so much! What an amazing bunch of characters. This edit is fantastic!
This made me emotional

"I haven't felt fear since I was five years old"
- Amos Burton
@@R4Y2k Yeah, exactly my immediate thought, when she said that. So well written.
This is my favorite Amos piece, all the others seem one dimensional, but this one seems to highlight quite a bit of Amos's complexities
Amos the most complicated and significant person in the entire series.

Great character study, I love everything about this show.
Wes nailed the character. And thanks for the compilation - really well done...
I keep coming back to this, thanks so much for vidding this incredible character and doing it so well
Wow amazing job with this. I planned on making on Amos Burton video months ago but couldn’t find the time, glad you did it yourself.

Wow your editing with this song was like so smooth, I loved every bit of it

Yeah, they're a great duo! I'm with you, I hope eventually they make it happen
Watching the scene in the cave and the snow later would be so satisfying.
I'm got chills so hard.... 🤗😍😊 Thank you!! ❤️❤️💖
Was my favorite character from the beginning. Always felt the most relatable to me.
Fantastic work! Thanks for sharing it with us! Amos is a beautiful character 🙏😃❤
Amos went from the crew member i disliked the most to my favourite one. Great character.
Can we have this with the song Peaches by Bowser instead?

Amos to Clarissa.
BEST FUCKING CHARACHTER EVER!
As there's a 10 year jump in the books I'm holding out hope for a final 2-3 seasons for the laconia war!
Music down a little bit, dialog up a little bit. Would be perfect then
You really needed to turn down the song you played over most of the dialog , when you can't hear less than half the iconic lines kinda makes this video pointless
The algorithm says I need to watch this video atleast once per week.... It is wise...
Sure wish I could hear the dialog over the music...
