Personally, I'd endorse the NVG-30 for walking around at night but I find it ineffective to shoot with. The delay introduced by the device slowed down my feedback loop when trying to keep the laser on target and my hits didn't land where I saw the laser. The only way to keep hits on target was to slow way down and wait until I can steady the laser before pulling the trigger. Mozambique drills were 2 seconds slower than with a pvs-14 at 20yds. I'd like to see if the delay on the opsin is small enough that it would keep my hits on target.
Can you do a video showing what the NVG30 looks like FROM the view of analog NVGs so people can see how visible they are under the different IR levels? It's the one comparison i've seen no one do.
My biggest issue with NVG30 is that it has no standby mode. So you will have bright screen on all the time or you have to power it off completely. My other digital night visions scopes will allow me to put screen to sleep or wake up with a single click to the power button.

Yes I had aurora black, I am disappointed by the performance without IR, I would like to see what it gives compared to the nvg30.
