You know it still doesn't make sense. Because there is Athena and Zeus is his father. Not to mention Poseidon is the strongest. Where is Hades and his underworld monsters? Because Zeus his father and a God amongst Gods Zeus is also a God of war. Zeus has those ugly very powerful gaint whom siblings to the Titans. Ya this part of the story doesn't make sense.
Arase is more like the God of battles and fights and warriors than a God of war. Athena is the strategies that actually can be said to be the God of war.

Would love to know where you got this, because the only source I can find that's even similar to this is the Wonder Woman movie. Greek Myth didn't really have a defined ending, the closest it came to culmination was the Trojan War. And Ares winning makes no sense, given how many of the other Gods on Olympus clapped him on their own, let alone working together.

And also how badass he was as a god of Rome, be worshiped by the most destructive force of Ancient Age

He was royalty but was often in squabbles like a mongrel of sorts and because of this, they all looked down on him. Nothing to do with being a bitch, because in all senses of the word, he wasn’t. Kinda can’t be a bitch if you’re the god of war.
One of his most famous stories is how he sleeps with his brother’s wife and gets caught in the net where the other gods laugh at them. That is an example of the way they look down at him for doing dishonorable shit like that. But if it came time to throw hands? Best believe Ares was in that conversation.

This isn’t a real myth, and it gets a lot wrong.
Ares wasn't worshipped in Sparta any more than he was in the rest of Greece. The Spartans mostly worshipped Apollo, Artemis, and Athena. It's complete madness to claim that Athena "cared about peace" -- she's very much a war goddess. She's downright giddy at the prospect of slaughtering all of Penelope's suitors in the Odyssey.
At no point does Ares decide to get any sort of revenge on the gods. Even if he did, he wouldn't stand much of a chance against the rest of the Olympians. If even Typhon couldn't take Zeus down, what chance does Ares have?
Claiming that this story ends with the agreement that no god would interfere in the world shows that you don’t understand the cultural context around these myths. If the gods couldn't interfere in the world, then what would be the point of worshipping them? The Ancient Greeks absolutely believed that the gods would answer their prayers, that's why they bothered to pray and sacrifice.
This is what comes of treating myths like an internally consistent narrative with a beginning, middle, and end, and not like an organic, inconsistent, and constantly-evolving body of cultural stories.

Does anyone here realise that this isn't actually in Greek mythology? People here seem to think that GoW ripped this story off from Ares, but nope, this channel is just saying that Ares did stuff that he didn't do for some reason.
Yeah, I’m pretty confused about what this is supposed to be. The fact that the Greeks worshipped their gods at all shows that they didn’t believe this.
Athena didn’t necessarily care about peace, she was also a god of war. Yes she is quite different when compared to Ares but that’s because she represented the strategic and tactical side of war whereas Ares was the more brutal and bloodthirsty aspect
I mean Athena is more like the representative of human civilization, and Ares is more like a force of nature in fact Athena's other rival Poseidon further drives the point home, he is the God of the ocean and the God that created horses but Athena conques the sea and tamed the horse because she is the goddess of navigation and horse riding, in fact she is the patron of the arts, crafts, and cities.
Almost like they’re the Divine masculine and feminine archetypes of War.

When she VERY rarely isn't, she still can't be touched because she's her dad's favourite kid and possibly his heir apparent (bar the Dionysus/Zagreus theory). Anyone who touches Athena is pretty much signing their death warrant as Zeus is a menace. When the gods rebelled against Zeus, he punished them and then just quickly told Athena off.

They are both mortally wounded as a result of their fight, but are both swept away to Olympus to be healed back to health. Zeus chastises them for getting involved and declares that the next god he sees fighting on the battlefield will be killed by him.

I did my own research and I couldn't find a definitive end to the Greek myth. I did find someone answering a question on Quora about how the mythology ends, and its what's described in he video. But the person only states it's *one* particular story.
But at the same time, the last story was regarding the Trojan War.
Basically, there is no true "end", like how the Norse have Ragnarok or how Christianity has Armageddon/Judgement Day/Dias irae.

I'm not sure about that. In previous incarnations he actually gets handled a lot. He was put in a jar by typhonoes, suspended by his tendons, handily beaten by Hephestus after threatening him, got exposed as an adulterer and hung up butt naked and complained to zues after being hit by a single mortal man's spear.
