That ice water trick is bomb. I actually leave my spray bottles in the refigerator and use it whenever I am refreshing or spritzing my hair. I found that my hair was shinier and didn't frizz as quickly.

My stylist taught me about cold water. It is indeed a game changer
I just tried it and i can tell this is absolutely going to be a game changer for me.
I have low porosity hair so cold water closes my hair follicles and won’t allow any moisture in. 😔. I normally have to use warm water. Are you low porosity? If so and it worked for you then it may work for me.
I rinse my hair with ice water as my last step when washing my hair. It is definitely a game changer 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

I just did a wash n go this morning and I love it abs will make sure it is dry to I can like day 2 and so on. This will be great when it’s time to refresh and include cold water hack. Thank you beauty 🙏🏾
to get all the product out - roll the end of the tube up. they sell a lil metal key you can use to make it easier. that way you can get all the product out and then recycle the packaging

I just did this whole routine, minus the serum (used moroccan oil instead), on my type 4 hair and babeeeee....this is gonna be new staple. See, this is why I return to yall's channel time after time after time.
Thank you. I’m going to try the ice cube method. I have successfully been using bottled water to use. I haven’t used (except once) tap water to refresh my hair. Poland springs took the frizz right out. But want to try this. That way if I run out of bottled water, I can use this.

Cut the tube in halve pry it open and get remaining product out.
If you cut the bottle then doesn’t that prevent you from being able to recycle it if the two halves end up being too small?

Question: when I used gels for a wash & go the very next day my hair seems flat and like nothing got done. Even dry. I was thinking maybe my hair needs a cream styler or butter. Do you have any suggestions as to what I can use? Also does my hair have to be redone daily? I was under the impreession that wash & gos last more than a day without anyting being done to it. Blessings~

They are unavoidable… the key is moisturized hair and keeping up w/ trims…

From a hair stylist, I've heard knots could also be caused by the conditioner (or any hair mask) not properly removed off during the wash day, other than that staying hydrated in and out might also help reducing these bad boys 😉

Anyone have success with the ice water?
My stylist always rinsed out the conditioner with cold water for the purpose of sealing in the moisture and closing the cuticles.
I want to try the ice water for shine, but was wondering how my products would respond if my cuticles are closed.
Hmmmm definitely need to try, cause I use hot water when I detangle for wash day. For my hair it eliminates frizz but definitely need to try for refreshing (I don’t use hot water for refresh just room temp)
