Great video Steve. I’m 73 and bike 60 miles a week. I am warming up to an e-bike for the reasons you stated. I mean why not have some fun?

Hi Larry, I agree, why not have some fun! This Hovsco e-bike delivers a lot of fun and a useful way of getting to and from the store in a short time without having to start up the car. Thanks again and have a great day, Steve

Great video. When I broke my leg in 3 places from a car accident, my mobility was curtailed. I tried riding a my regular race bike I had but with my bum leg it was very hard for me. With an Ebike, I have regained strength in my legs cuz I had help. With that, I rode my Ebike for about 6 months to regain strength on my bum leg, in the mornings I use my Ebike & afternoons I am able now to ride my race bike. Oh, my stops are the coffee shops & grocery store.

Hi there and thanks for sharing! Good to hear that your e-bike was instrumental in getting your leg strength back. Hope your leg is getting stronger and stronger! Thanks again and take care, Steve

What’s the difference between the old version and upgraded version?

Looks like a nice e-bike to scoot around the local trails and paths. A basket / rack would be good to carry groceries / ...

Hi Fred, good to hear from you again! Hovsco does offer a rear rack and front basket. That would make it much easier to put groceries on the bike. Thanks again and all the best, Steve

I need an ebike because I will never be able to retire...😢
A cadence sensor should only be used to show how you are pedalling...

Hi there and thanks for your comment. I agree a cadence sensor should only be used to help you maintain an even pedal stroke. I use one on all my road/gravel bikes. The Hovsco torque sensor is the best for an ebike. Thanks again and have a great day, Steve

I have the same situation here. Live on top of the hill on a gravel road. No matter what I finish up hill😂😂 Nice review and why not have another bike in your arsenal. Take care and stay safe, Al

Hi Al and thanks again as always! I hope the winter is being kind to you. It's been very cold here in Connecticut. This Hovsco bike makes hills a joy. Great for quick trips downtown. And the bike is very high quality. Thanks again and have a great day, Steve

That bike looks easy to load . I have a cheap Ebike and i don't fold it i just put seat down and handle down and just load it like that and i have a tiny SUV so i like the ease without folding. I also like that mine has a hand throttle like a moped. I don't know why They put a oush button throttle. Thats odd to me but this bike looks nice and light and ride nice at least

Hi there and thanks for your comment. It's a great bike and every bike manufacturer seems to have their own way of incorporating a throttle. The torque sensor makes this bike especially nice to ride. Thanks again and have a great day, Steve

Steve, for a folding bike that’s pretty cool! Looks like Hovsco has lots of bike choices. Nice that you have gotten into the sponsorships videos…:)

Hi there and I hope all is well. Hovsco does make a quality e-bike. The torque sensor is a game changer. Great people to work with and unlike a lot of e-bike companies you see on the internet, they actually have a good distribution network. Take care and I look forward to seeing more of your awesome drone videos. All the best, Steve

I love your videos Steve!! I have a road/gravel bike (Trek Domane) as well as an e-bike (Trek FX+2) and I love them both. I use my e-bike for exactly what you said, I have panniers on the back and when weather permits I grocery shop with it. My domane is on the trainer for indoor cycling right now (January) and so if we get a freakish nice day, I pop on my e-bike. My spouse uses an e-bike exclusively because of knee issues. Without the e-bike I would be riding alone 😊😊😊 Can’t wait to hear about your trips you have planned. 😊

Great to hear from you again! My road bike is also on the trainer for the winter. I try to do 20 mile a day. Once I got into a routine of riding on the trainer watching UA-cam videos it has become something that keeps me going in the winter. Good that your spouse has the e-bike so you can both enjoy riding together. I'm working on a video of a Canadian trip Jan and I took during last summer, hope to have it out in about two weeks. In May I'm going on a solo trip of the GAP/C&O trail from Pittsburgh to D.C. Then we're going to either Norway or The Netherlands this coming summer for a two week adventure. Many other smaller trips too. Thanks again and have a great day, Steve
