I thought they do ok in warm weather. Wouldn't know, not switching to that overpriced mess since it's not actually better for the environment.
as an ebike mechanic among other things, i wish new owners would understand 1 simple fact. All ebikes are partially assembled for shipping. DO NOT CONFUSE THIS WITH PROPER BIKE BUILD!!! I have done dozens of new bike builds and can tell you for sure and for certain. The only thing the seller is concerned about is making bike fit in the box. The parts may all be there but nothing is assembled PROPERLY! Loose axle nuts are the rule not the exception. Brakes and derailleur may be installed but likely never aligned. The list of issues on new bikes is crazy. IF you are not sure about what you are doing, please contact someone with the skills to assemble this machine properly. ESPECIALLY FOLDABLE BIKES as the "hinge joints have to be adjusted property or CAN COME UNDON WHILE RIDING!!! Some bike shops offer free safety checks...
If I spot any issues I ask my husband to check over the bike, he's a bike instructor/mechanic for part of his county job. But, you're right the bike should be inspected prior to use.
Yes Ma am! cant tell you how much damage i have seen done to new bikes simply because of improper assembly. Especially the wheel with the motor in it. These big motors are capable of tearing themselves right out of the frame if not secured properly. Scary...I have a wall os shame for bad parts if you want to see some pics LOL@@ZophieReviews

Seen so many bikes like this come through the workshop and they are just cheap and nasty with non-standard parts and stupid tyres. OK for occasional use in summer but don't even consider buying one as a dependable means of all-year-round transport.
In your opinion what company makes a damn good ebike?
@@ZophieReviews Anything with a Bosch motor is generally good - and the Bosch CX motor is incredible. Obviously price is a factor. Truly dependable ebikes cost three to four times more than the one in the video. But it makes more sense to repair them than it does with bikes like this one that just end up in landfill.
Germany is where the best brands are - Riese + Muller, Kalkhoff. But they don't come cheap.
