I have spent the last 20+ years in the salon industry, tech and fashion. I left the industry at some point to become a Fireman and Aux. Police Officer. I did 6 years service and resigned shortly after 9/11.

A few years ago I stumbled across your channel. I had been stuck in my boring retail job for nearly five years, wanting to start a career but always assumed it was too late. How do I explain to my hairstylist the idea of overdirecting back when cutting the top of my head? She always lets my bangs hang down and cuts them like that. But when she does that, my hair is cut in almost all the same length.
ps I know I asked a very similar question last week, but I didn't specifically mention overdirection
