I actually still have my Tigris Prime with the same build I ran before the shotgun rework of 2019 that accompanied the release of the liches but I stopped using it because the damage was significantly weaker than other options but then I got a riven that had status chance and reload speed which somewhat saved the damage to restore it back to its old one shot bleed build days
I also have a stat and reload riven but my tigris lost a barrel
I notice the 1 forma! Thats all you needed back then for the 100% status build lol.

Yo, I heard you hate ramp up. I've got a build for you. Primary Plated Rounds Quellor. 300 round mag turns into nearly 600% damage and the altfire multiplies with gun co leading to ludicrous damage. And the ramp up time is limited to how fast you can dump the mag.
for anyone wondering how fast you can dump a quellor mag (with vile acceleration and critical delay), it's ~30 seconds using only primary fire, and ~7 seconds using only secondary fire. Primary Plated Round lasts 10 seconds

@NitroCheese yeah primary fire isn't the best on it but if you want that kinda thing use the supra vandal. Same magazine size and can reach the 30 rpm required with vile acceleration and primed shred

Tigris has a permanent place in my arsenal as the Index Gun: Nothing says 'screw your scaling' quite like duplex buckshot headshots.
Will forever miss this one, exquisite beauty is absolutely right. Will never forget back in the day how everyone was mad for it being a sidegrade over the sancti, right up until people realised it could hit 100% status before multishot and would absolutely 1 tap everything.

The first gun in Warframe to worm its way into my heart and it still lives there to this day. It doesn't get much use since I main Lavos and Cedo is literally right there, but sometimes, taking this out for giggles and just modding for big wiener damage while Lavos handles the weakness with his new augment has been some of the most fun I've had in a while. Great vid and glad to see Tigris get a lil love.
Maybe you can find a way to slot in mods like Chilling Reload or Tactical Pump for more Reload? I love putting Reload speed on the Tigris to make it feel like a lever action.
Haven't played in ages but Tigris Prime was my main index weapon. Just turn my brain off for 30 minutes while I watch something on the second monitor and end up with millions of credits

The healing/max hp increase in hit and massive crit multiplier are hard to pass up.
This used to be a main stay in my arsenal back in the day. Nowadays I'd be hard pressed to run it over literally anything else in the current sandbox. A relic from the past.
This was my Nekros primary for years, only recently switching to the Tenet Flux Rifle. I believe the Prime was the first version where you could achieve 100% status chance with the old system, and you ran sweeping serration just to make sure the pellets were all massively weighted towards slash damage. Even body shots would rip through Corrupted Heavy gunners and other such heavy units (overguard wasn't a thing at the time) with one blast, so you would often hold the second shot to target another heavy unit. Good times, glad to see it's still got some teeth with the right mods.
Mine still has that build and sits at 38% status now 😂 thought it still has a total damage of 42k on sheet with that build. How the mighty have fallen though
If you want more AOE you can always add vicous spread and replace narrow barel with fatal acceleration
don't forget arcane pistoleer ammo efficiency applies to primaries as well
I've been trying tigris prime with sevagoth crit augment and it works although I do wish it can have an incarnon to compete with kuav hek felarx etc. It's a sexy shotgun.
You could REALLY tell that this weapon is old, low status and low CC and CD. DE really didnt want this weapon to be insanely god tier, and it hurts.
If there is a gun that deserves either an upfront stat change, its the Tigris Prime, If there is a gun that deserves an Incarnon adapter, its the Tigris prime, If there is a prime weapon that deserves to be primed, its the Tigris prime prime.

tigris prime was my favorite weapon in 2017. i didnt understand the mechanics and ran a pure damage build. it puts out 97k per shot
one of the top 3 favourite guns of mine, ever. as I always say, watch where you're aiming, because if you miss the burst you'll split the celestial body you're on in half
nice videos as always, informative and fun, i today got 1 weird mod that it says unique, Adhesive blast, it says that grenades will stick to surfaces, i didnt tried it tho, i have SP but not simulacrum, so yeah, i am testing stuff in the mission but would that be good for quartz or pistol that reloads after u toss a grenade?
Okay so i got quite a investment in the Sancti version and used it ALOT back in the day, think it was my main for a loong while, till Corinth came out, and i kinda dont wanna go through the process of upgrading the prime one. How much worse is it? Also speaking of taking a page out of a other book, when do you run + status duration on guns, and the jump interacting ones? (fire when bullet jump, more wall latch time etc)
Ps as a alternative loadout crit with hunter munitions? double dipping on the dots?

After all these years I think it's time to use this weapon again.
Raw Damage + Shotgun Vendetta make it great as a hot swap for demolishers and acolytes. It's something I keep on melee and status builds just as a precaution.
I remember when this weapon first came out. I got it and used the crap out of it. It's still one of my most used weapons despite me not using it in recent times.
I actually liked the Sancti Tigris more than the Prime for whatever reason back in the day.

Imo should try soft hands for exilus, increased accuracy for 7 seconds and reduced recoil and all you need to do is swap weapons! It can also apply to your secondary or the other way around! Super easy way to get free accuracy buffs
One day it will get an incarnon adapter and I'm hoping the incarnon mode just shoots a giant X that just stacks a lot of slash into whatever it hits, kinda like the X motion dante does during dark verse, hopefully the weapon ends up becoming a slash version of the strun prime.

you should try using this weapon with energized munitions Gauss. he's a great weapons platform for the guns with bad ammo economy or small mags

Honestly, kinda surprised it wasn't a corrosive/heat build. I feel like that might've ended up like the twin rogga, with the first shot priming and the second doing damage.

I wonder if weapons like this are gonna benefit from the Blast rework coming in the next update. Because I think the 'problem' here really gatekeeping weapons like the Tigris Prime is the fact that it's a single-target weapon built into status, which means it can't really do crowds, but it has trouble with single-target on things that are status-capped like acolytes or necramechs. Being able to just force it to do AoE by pumping however many Blast procs into a target until they explode, while having Corrosive as the additional damage type to keep up single target, that sounds like something to me. Like, weapons that already have AoE probably still would want to run Corrosive + Heat/Cold or Viral or whatever, but anything with this kind of up-front damage and this kind of status chance, I wonder if this is what's going to be ideal for New Blast, if my understanding of it from the last devstream is correct.

Wouldn't it make more sense to just stack pure toxin for the Corpus one instead staying on Viral Slash and simply swapping the faction mod? After all, that's really mostly an anti-armour combo.
You know, instead of Sweeping Serration and unranked dual stat mods, run a maxed Contagious Spread and Toxic Barrage and maybe use the last slot for just a little bit of upfront damage from something like Serration to help with the ramp-up.
Well corpus are weak so does it really matter
Personally, I'd enjoy the game more if the general speed of things was more like this. How long it took you to kill the acolyte is perfect for "I have a strong weapon yes, but I have to play the game a LITTLE bit and not just one shot everything in the blink of an eye"
