One of the features I liked about this game is that you are allowed to finished your hyper combo even if the opponents life is completely depleted. Also they keep getting hit after the “K.O.” Unlike future installments that would cancel out the hyper as soon as opponents life is depleted.
Wow just noticed this but the order the gems appear are exactly the same way they show up when Thanos gets them all. Power, Time, Space, Soul, Reality, Mind.
Thunders, energy Finger mini balls with that badass pose, telekenesies gravity stone attack with that badass no fucks in pose, permanent body protection energy balls, shadow clone jutsu. Of course that supurior throne signature, And those poses he made in some attacks. DOOM was here very noice potrayed, like a supurior Badass, how it should be!
I mean, if you wanna count bosses, you have to take into account Thanos's Power Gem super, which does more damage on hit and about as much chip damage, not to mention, it tracks, but yeah, Photon Array is absolutely up there, most likely second best super in the game.
I wish Dr. Doom had this use for the Mind Gem had he been playable full time: The Mind Gem amplifies his special moves, allows him to fire two Plasma Beams, two Photon Shots and disperse his Molecular Shield in all directions.
Fight against Spiderman body to body is a bad technique, ‘cause he will always be faster that you. The strategy is to wait for him when he falls after a superjump, so you get him with you want.

I think the code is supposed to be a really fast "LK HP down LP HK" when the announcer is saying the name of the character (the LK counts as the selection) before the Turbo/Normal/Auto pops up. It's hard and inconsistent to do; not all versions support this code. PS/Saturn version: Beat the game once, save and load, then tap down down, then press and hold LK > MK > HK (press them in sequence, but at the end you should be holding down all three) XBLA/PS3 version: Spend points in the Gallery, then just hit the 3P shortcut button on the select screen (like in this video)
