People talk so much crap about Summerville. The guy has had 30 goal involvements and has said he wont force a move. He still gets shade. Its insane.
The red bull investment is an absolutely incredible piece of business at championship level. We are a European level club in waiting and i believe this ownership will have us there in the next five years
If we keep Bamford we ain’t going up - sell 100% play Joseph more n bring in a top no 9 urgent , on Meslier - sell 100% , we missed a trick not getting the Rotherham goalie but please sell he s not commanding enough n mistake ridden ! I would keep Charlie he ll become a top centre back n sell joffy 100% he needs football elsewhere

The red bull news is good i hope to god they don't blow it on trash players of the Orta class. I am very concerned about our better players leaving and us being left with the trash.
Bamford, Meslier just have to go and the poor performers, Firpo has NOT performed enough to be kept. Just because he has been made to look good when others have been terrible. Does not mean he is improving. I think we were conned into taking him and he has to go.
We need that defence of ours propped up badly

Missed the live pod unfortunately. Some really good points! For me a championship winning team has 5-6 goal scorers in their team!
Obviously, I don’t want us to sell any of our top players but if we do , we choose that option.

Biggest club problem is buying injury prone players. We can't play and then can't sell.

Nah Rodons pace is underrated... i think only one time i saw him get done for pace on the recovery runs. The thing about being a centre half is you always get that couple of yards advantage usually and if you position yourself well you don't need to be faster than someone to get on their first touch or cut the ball out before they gain control of it you just have to be close to their speed, which Rodon is really good at. It always reminds me of Mertesacker when he was at Arsenal, even though he was slow he always seemed to have just enough pace to cut out most of the long balls.

Summerville, Gnonto, Bamford, Firpo all have to go. One thing that Farke needs to do is change the way we set up, not sure he is capable of doing it though.

I have seen similar from other content creators and everybody has a very sensible approach.
The only issue I see is that everybody, just like Kagey, gets left with a first team squad of about 12 players.
Now… challenging for promotion, 46 games + cups runs + factoring in injuries, we would need a 20 man squad. My personal opinion is that we need 23-25, given how many players we have on international duty and given the fact that we must get used to a world in which games can be rewritten tactically due to the 5-subs rule. Last year we brought in 8, 3 of whom were loans (Anthony, Rodon, CR). I am afraid that this years we will not be able to bring in that many good (Ampadu-level) players.
Its an energy drink company. It aint the evil you see at some clubs. People need to realise this is an outstanding piece of business.

Kagey, if you have the time to read this message, would you think about doing a video on how the 5-subs rule is changing the way football can be played? More importantly, would you ever give your opinion on how this affects Leeds, given that we do not use this option (not until the 87th minute anyway). In my opinion it gives coaches the opportunity to rewrite the game and this is a huuuge change. I think that coaches who can use this to their advantage will come out on top and I also think that this puts pressure on the board to get a bigger squad available. Thoughts?
Great chat kagey MOT my opinion is definitely to sell the following meslier firpo bamford all those who jumped ship plus all that are out on loan need new blood want farke to open his eyes start playing our talent Joseph striker grey midfield cresswell CB then a new quality LB and RB plus a bloody good quality goalkeeper spend the cash for godsake we need a summervile replacement james must play but we must get a good squad if he aint going to play piero in his correct position sell him but farke has to change /learn stop being stubborn and play players in correct position and change things early when not happening subs on 65 minutes or at least 70 minutes give them time to get in to game

Sell Bamford should been done years ago! please don't keep him his highlights for me are the ones he has missed remember them more that the ones he scored(Peterborough goal aside)Meslier this guy I was all for selling Norwich first leg had fear written all over his face second leg wrist of steel wonder save after listening and being reminded of the flapping times sell if we can get better still its a 50/50 in this league solid defense around him makes him look good.Wishful thinking if we can retain the guys on the keep list..Summerville I think hes gone.. Rodon gone...possible stays Gray..Rutter.. Gutted I missed this live. Watched it back now. Hard to disagree with the majority of those. Feel like Cree, Meslier and Gnonto are the sacrificial lambs. Need plenty of bodies tho don’t we. Couldn’t see Byram, who I’d keep on bench. We need some bodies!!

Yknow I’ve always thought that a good replacement for meslier would be Max O’Leary from Bristol. He’s 27 so getting into the start of those prime years for a goalkeeper but I think he has a lot more qualities than meslier and is a much more well rounded goalkeeper apparently he’d cost around 3 million and I think if that’s what it takes to get him I think it would be a pretty good shout from what I’ve seen of him.

at least with redbull as the sponsor we will be in line with the anti gambling sponsor rules coming idk when. i can imagine other clubs are going to struggle to find a non gambling sponsor willing to pay the same amount

Kagey, you mentioned you would like us to do a deal with Spurs so that we keep Rodon. Do you think that might involve us allowing them to buy Archie Gray and then they loan him back to us for the season? I hope not...but it is possible as we saw with Jack Clarke.
Interesting idea.
Jack Clarke and Archie Gray are both in different stages of their development.
Hard to explain in writing, but the situations are different.
To keep it short, Jack Clarke was £10M & was coming off a few good games but the potential was there. It was low risk to loan him back to the club he just came from.
Archie is seen as someone who can make a difference now (like Wharton) & would cost way more than that, so the willingness to loan him back will not be there.

Get Patrick Bamford gone his wages are too high for the second tier. £35k per week and very few goals or appearances.
Can't carry that type of player anymore.
Bamford is on almost double that
He was on £70k in EPL dropped to half with relegation like rest of squad.

KAMARA Sell, similar to GRUEV, he's ruined his opportunity because of not shooting after getting into positions when he could, if he took shots I would have swapped him with GRUEV right away, he had some fantastic games for us this season though 😫😩
RUTTER Keep, keep, keep, promising, lots of potential, flair & potential for his skills to grow, use him as a winger though 🙏
MESSLIER Sell I'm afraid, hasn't been the same since BIELSA left 😥
