UP WHERE WE BELONG ... for when we blink into the sun and drops the curtain ... WHAT MATTER MOST is how did you performed assigned character to you ... if i may choose South America
Kenny's passing hit me like a ton of bricks. Dolly's tribute broke my heart. I, like many, many people, grew up listening to Kenny Rogers. I was a small child in the 70's and Kenny's records and 8 tracks were played a lot in my home. His passing, was almost like that of a beloved family member. Rest in peace Kenny, I know your voice is soaring in the angel choir. Thank you for giving so much of yourself to us.
I agree with you, when I found out Kenny died I 😢 cried my 👀 eyes out like he WAS FAMILY !!!! I've been listening to him for 47 years lol !!!! 😭💔🙏💖💐😇!!!!! I've ALWAYS enjoyed his 🎶 music , EVEN as a kid and when when I liked heavy metal music I STILL listened to Kenny and a few others
I heard about Kenny's passing on Saturday. I had just turned 7 years old in 1981 when my aunt introduced me to Kenny and his music through the then brand new album of Share Your Love. I became a life-long fan right then and there. I hadn't even studied English language but still I learned English by singing along with him. A 7-year-old kid from a Nordic country like Finland listening to music like Kenny Rogers'? Oh yeah. I cherish my Kenny Rogers albums and also the memory of attending his concert. Kenny, thank you for all the memories and for your music. My warm condolences also to his family and friends.
ThankYou Kenny Rogers for what you have given us your songs , your gift , you will be remembered , cherished, kept with in our hearts for all time. I remember my very first Country Music Concert when Kenny Roger's song in the same Concert Auditorium as Roy Clark and my aunts took me to see Kenny sing , I can say that I will never forget that & I have never forgotten that. He always sang from the heart, that is the first thing that makes a person a good singer, also I know he was a good man, father. I know I don't know him personally but I have known to be a good singer with as much heart as he put in his songs even the ones that he sang when I went to see him in Concert -There has to be something deep within each of us even Kenny to be not only a good singer , performer, person in what can , does connect with a good loving caring father as well as a loving caring person Kenny Roger's was my first favorite ,still is my favorite Country Music singer as he was when I was younger then I am now. Kenny Roger's will be loved, missed , always remembered by myself, many others that knew him personally, those that di not know him personally. I thank my aunts for taking me to see Kenny Roger's in Concert when I was young & thank you Kenny Roger's for what you have given each of us both fans, listeners, more all over America to start. Kenny Roger's you will be loved, missed & always remembered for all time, your gift to the world will remain within all of us. May Heavenly Father keep you safe, loved & keeps reminding you of all the out pouring love , thanks from all of us, things that you have given all of us, we will also keep your songs, your gift, you Kenny Roger's in our thoughts, within our hearts forever. ua-cam.com/video/ur8pkSazrME/v-deo.html

No one could have said it better than the Queen of country music, Dolly❤. From the heart,so pure, full of love and emotion. Just like the relationship you had for one another. Glad you made You Cant Make Old Friends. 😭😭😭😭❤. A life well lived Kenny. Thank You for sharing your voice to us😭❤.
I have always loved Kenny Rogers. I was just a little girl the first time I heard him sing. The song was "Lucille," and it wasn't long after that, "The Gambler" was on the charts. I love those "Gambler" films he did over the years with Bruce Boxleitner. My favorite actor and my favorite country singer together in the same films. It doesn't get any better than that. And the duets he did over the years with Dolly Parton are great, as well. Rest in peace, Kenny Rogers. You will be forever loved and missed.
Kenny Rogers was one of the country artist I grew up with. While in kindergarten, the Gambler was the first song I ever knew all the words to (and still do). Listened to it many times on an 8 track riding with my dad in his 18 wheeler hauling feed to turkey farmers around Osage County, MO. Decades later, I sang it to both my kids while holding them trying to get them to sleep when they were infants, and still the only song I’ll even attempt to sing at karaoke. Rest In Peace Kenny Rogers!
Kenny Rogers was probably the most popular country singer in the world. Growing up in South America and the Caribbean everyone knew who Kenny was. His voice was so recognisable and distinct. I grew up with his music. Thank u legend. Rip
We grew up on him in Jamaica 🇯🇲! The Voice for the heart breaks! the Gutsy Moves! The Lovers! The Up- Tempos and Fold UPS ! With the Smoothies thrown in!!!! Kenny Rogers!
Kenny had tons of hits from 77 to 83. Just the one's i remember. Islands in the Stream, "She Believes in Me, The Gambler, Lucille, Lady, Through the Years, We've Got Tonight with Sheena Easton) You Decorated My Life, Love the World Away, "Don't Fall in Love with a Dreamer with Kim Carnes)
Sing it with me ! You gotta know when to hold them know when to fold them know when to walk away know when to run rip kenny thank you for all you have done we will miss you!
I grew up listening to Kenny Rogers and he is a one of a kind musician and there will Never be another one like him. Your music was and will always be enjoyed by many.

Kenny Rogers was the first record I ever owned when I was 6 years old. I LOVE him still and I'm in my 40's. He died 2 days before my birthday :( I cried SO hard. This is so hard to watch even a year later. RIP Kenny.
I've loved all of Kenny Rogers' music, from "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love To Town", to "The Gambler", and all the rest--and I'm glad I got to see him perform live, many years ago. RIP, Kenny.😔⛪

With Kenny Rogers unique voice, the Angels in heaven celebrated his arrival and welcomed him home. He is not dead. His legacies are there for generations to come. RIP my Legend.
For those who didn't know. The Royal Canadian Sea Cadets, and in particular those who attended the Gunnery Course, at HMCS Ontario, the Sea Cadet Summer Training Centre in Kingston Ontario had a special attachment. Whenever the Gunners were marching they would sing The Gambler. I doubt there is any Cadet Gunner who attended Ontario who does not know those words by heart. It was wonderful that he had such an effect on these young folks' lives.
