Nate's amazing ability to deliver an hour straight of Bears hype starting with bringing up one of the most painful memories you've ever tried to bury is a level of whiplash that needs to be studied
I would like to see more Dominic Robinson, The physical efforts he put in this off season there is something there let's find it and move it inside or outside that kind of player ,well there is a need for him. Next year center DT and an Edge with a couple of WRs A good practice squid opens development...I like it
great interview guys why don't you guys join forces with the Justice League and just become one big happy family either way we'll still find you and listen to you
Caleb will make mistakes. The team is good enough to absorb those mistakes without giving away the game. The Defense is vey good. They will bail out the O when needed and he O will be dangerous too. Caleb will make mistakes but I believe he will have many more “WOW” plays than mistake's. The first 3rd down Caleb ever faced was a 3rd and 12. I really think every Bears fan went “oh hell here we go again. 3rd and 12 and we’re gonna do a HB dive up the middle of the D for 2 yards then we’ll punt.” Nay Nay says our new OC, new QB and our #1 WR. They go out and……..it was crazy….we needed 12 yards and DJ went 12.5 and turned and caught a rifled pass from Caleb. At that moment I went from doubts to 100% all in and all on board the Bears train rumbling down the track to take on Erin Rodgers and the Jets in the Superbowl.
Oh hey good point, Lucas brought some interesting perspective to this show, especially about his time as a Bears Scout in the Pace/Nagy era. Now it’s nice to hear from some other guests on the show, and kinda leave the past behind.
Any of you guys who had something to say about Williams crying likely never played the game. When you build lifelong friendships with your guys grinding together every day trying to accomplish goals as a team….. as brothers…. it hits hard when it’s over…. It hits really damn hard
Do you guys get the vibes from Hardknocks that the Flus is not the man? Inept, not so sharp, strange? Meanwhile Poles is a dog. I don’t think the Bears will ever win with the Flus. The sooner they get someone for real, they’ll win with this management and team.
Nate PERFECTLY articulated the same thing I've been saying about Burrow for over a year. So many talking heads parroting the narrative "If healthy, Burrow is the 2nd best QB in the league" as if it's in some memorized script. He's good, he's accurate and has a nice pocket presence. He's a solid, talented QB. Yes, he's had success against KC's defense- that's not "beating Mahomes", unless we're talking about tennis. Burrow rankings are like 65% hype about how 'confident' he is. Josh allen > Burrow, and I'm not a Buffalo fan.
Lmao.. I've been branded a Truther for saying exactly what Nate just did about Bagent vs Fields and QB not being the only place you can find excess value. Or suggesting Caleb demonstrates tier 3 ability in the preseason. (Yes he can get better) Thought I was going insane.
the surplus value of an average RT and a rookie RT versus the surplus value of an average QB and a rookie QB are night and day. An average RT costs under 10M a year. An average QB costs 40M a year.
I think Nate is ready to take a house by the sea together somewhere with Maye. "Hey, that's a great question about Caleb, have you noticed how Drake Maye...." - my lord.
50+ yd TD bomb taken away by horse collar, another dart to Rome with his feet out, there’s a lot more to the game than stat watching he couldn’t have looked much better in that small sample size Second game ended like 6/13 with 70yds if Rome checks his feet and no pass interference that game is like 9/10 with 2TDs and 150yds
Itll be funny and validating to see Drake Maye fail tho. That’s really all I care about it as a Bears fan. But Nate brought some other great takes, I had fun listening.
We are still not very good at WR depth and Dline. After our "big 3" we are borderline awful at WR (scott, pettis & velus are all 6th/7th WRs) If you look at our Dline. our best case scenario is that Booker is a star and so is dexter and that sweat, booker & dexter are a formidable dline for the next 5-7 years. in reality, Sweat is the only real starter, (maybe billings as well) and we need a top DE and 2 more 3 techs. Best case dline: DE: Sweat (Star) / Walker (back up) 3tech: Dex (Star) / Johnson (average joe) NT: Billings / Pickens (average Joe) DE: Booker (Star) / Taylor (back up) Worst Case Dline DE: Sweat (Star) / Walker (back up) 3tech: Real Starter Needed / Back up needed NT: Dex / Billings (back up) DE: Real Starter Needed / Booker (back up) Another thing to consider on dline is that we just go with a big dline early and fast dline on obvious passing downs. this is great so long as we dont have injuries. who said they need to be great. i said they weren’t even very good and borderline awful. our #4-6 wrs pettis has 70 career catches. velus has 11 scott has 17 that’s about as bad as it gets and it should worry fans. as i said: out big three is great. after that, its borderline practice squad players. just imagine if dj and allen got hurt. we’d have a rookie, scott and velus out there. yikes.
@@spaceghost8995 i think you may be more right than wrong. I went and looked up the career receptions for every team that made the playoffs and it wasnt that good. its not as bad as tyler scott and velus jones, but its still bad. moreover, the Bears dont even list velus as a WR any more so its obvious they've given up on him. they have deandre carter as their 6th WR. i actually might do a complete 180 and say that in a best case scenario the Bears WR's can actually be great. thats if pettis stays healthy and scott takes a leap. but the bears are probably more middle of the pack in terms of WR 4-6. i guess it can get worse than scott, pettis and deandre Carter. Detroit is pretty awful in terms of depth Green Bay has a lot of depth. the niners are probably deepers but they have 2 rookies who i assume are better than pettis & Scott KC is prob better if you think Juju & sky moore are better than pettis & Scott miami: no eagles: they have johny wilson and parris cambell. thats prob the equivalent of pettis & Scott cincy: might be better if burton is good clevland: no Houston: yes. they have robert woods as their #4 and mechie as their #5.

One thing about Nate, he is going to slide in a Drake Maye compliment wherever he can lol I hope he pans out but this is Caleb's time to shine.
Maybe I’m wrong but I just don’t see the Maye love.
@@drizzle452he said Maye is more advanced than Caleb lol

Did Josh Lucas get another job?
Oh hey good point, Lucas brought some interesting perspective to this show, especially about his time as a Bears Scout in the Pace/Nagy era.

I heard he was constantly drunk on the show

Love how Hoge had to step in to stop Nate Tice from his constant badgering of Caleb Williams around the 14:35 mark
i liked maye a lot but got gaslit by people who thought daniels was better.
why were people so high on skinny justin
The 8:51 mark, what if Caleb was drafted onto a bad team - lol. Have you met Justin Fields? Awareness.
During the draft this guy said he would take Maye over Caleb. SMH Caleb is light years ahead of Maye.
Yup I remember that. He was a big Justin guy too

Yeah too much. Trubisky had good games in preseason too
Can’t convince me Drake Maye will be good
Gonna find out here soon
Maye's gonna be a bust, zero composure in the pocket, didn't read coverage. He won't play this year
@@MobiusAmperehe will play this year the starter got hurt
