Wow, so many views and angles! New sub here. I just started filming my fishing ventures and I believe I found your channel while researching camera mounts. Boy, do I have room for improvement! Lol
I'm glad you found the channel! And thanks for your kind words. I love fishing and film making and I try to continuously improve in both. Welcome to the journey.
I found your channel because I am moving to Ormond by the Sea at the end of this month...do you do the majority of your fishing in the Halifax River/Tomoka Basin area?
Hi Kyle, welcome to the area and to the channel. I fish the marsh lands west of the ICW mostly from Jax down to New Smyrna Beach....but hey, I've been known to fish other waters too. I film a lot in and around Ormond.
Hi Richard. I list out various launch locations in this post on my blog ( www.kayakfishingaddict.com/2020/12/kayak-launch-locations-locations.html ) which might prove helpful. Click the Ormond Beach Marsh item for where I launched this time. But with your gheenoe you should launch at the boat ramp just over High Bridge. Search google for Salty Dawg Outfitters and you’ll see the boat ramp. It’s less than a quarter mile past the Ormond Beach Marsh launch location. Tight lines!
I keep a few now and then. For example, I kept the speckled trout. I usually discuss stuff like that in the backstory on my site - www.KayakFishingAddict.com
Sure thing. You can hit the "view email address" on the about page of my channel. Or DM via instagram. Or use the contact us from the menu on my site - www.KayakFishingAddict.com
Great question. I prefer baitcasters over spinning gear when fishing from a kayak. Just yesterday I thought about doing a video about the ins and outs of why.
That stood true for me today. Targeting flounder, covering a lot of water. Once I found 1 there'd be several more stacked in the same spot. ZERO top water bite though

Yes, I'll be putting out more content this year :).
Hi Ron, id like to run a video idea by you, but I’m not seeing a email address on your website. What’s the best way to contact you? Thanks.

@@KayakFishingAddict sent you a message in Instagram, thanks.
You’ve probably been asked this before but I missed it. When kayak fishing, do you prefer a bait caster over spinning gear? Thanks.
I don't think I've seen a video where Ron uses spinning gear

You’ve got a great eye!

Glad you found the school. Sometimes it’s like that in the marsh. It’s a sport that makes you think!
Another great video! I can really appreciate the effort you put into making these.
Thank you very much! I'm glad you like them and appreciate the effort!
