I was just thinking about Legends, I am absolutely flabbergasted that this game isn’t well known. It should be considered as the best plateformer of the 2010’s imo.
At this point, King Koopa have already conquered our hearts with his musical talents and entertaining stages... He is the true MVP of this game. He has achieved cultural victory.
I love how there are flashbacks to Mario's past songs in this game like Secret Level from Mario Sunshine, Slider from Mario 64, SMW P Switch Palace/Bonus stage theme, and Metal Mario. It's a charm
Parts of this game feels like a rhythm game where you do certain things to a beat while the rest is just a musical. It's a interesting choice, I'll give Nintendo that and I think they had a lot of fun making this one. Also, this game looks really good.❤️
Also the Bowser's Boss Battle reminded me of Majoline's Boss Battle with a little bit of inspiration from Bonmucho as well (although a little less scary hehe)

@@Mac14329he is the same king boo, just means he use magical jewels to use his powers but luigi always destroy his jewels and the 3rd Game of luigi's mansion showed that king boo use magical jewels to get more powers like trap enemies on Portraits, etc
I like that Super Mario Wonder borrowed a lot of ideas from Mario Maker. It's really nice to see all the level ideas that players had be made by the professionals at nintendo.
The Piranha Plants in that first one make me think of the Chorus Boys. Also gotta love the perfect timing of this game, given that there's a Halloween-themed musical number in it.
There is something creepy, yet hilarious, about singing Piranha plants walking up to you. It kinda reminds me of Mario 3 and Super Mario Sunshine. The absurdity of it. No shot. NO SHOT! THE FREAKIN MARIO ACAPELLA IS BACK WE ARE SO FUCKIN BACK!!

I hope there's a whole DLC or, even better, a whole Mario platformer based on these kinds of levels. It's scratching that itch Rayman Legends gave me so long ago, like few games ever did.
I absolutely freaked out when i heard Sunshine music, that's my fav 3D Mario game (Side thing: when i was younger, i really wanted to play Sunshine, but it was only on gamecube, which i didnt have. The Gods must have heard my calls because a few years later, 3D All-stars released)

Ive loved rhythm stages in games ever since Rayman Legends (which was the peak of gaming). I think Wonder really did these levels good
Donkey Kong Country Returns and Tropical Freeze had a few levels where the obstacles and scenery moved in time with the music.

I like how if you kill or stun a singing enemy, their part of the song goes away
If Piranha Plant doesn't sing in Smash 6 either as a victory animation or taunt, we will riot.
