After watching a bunch of your videos, i love how in this one you are s lot more calm. Your flow is less erratic and there's like something kind and genuine in the way you speak. Maybe you were just tired XD but I love this calmer style. It's easy to follow and to "chew" on your words as I listened to them. As a DM i do a very active listening of video-guides because I'm constantly thinking on how to implement ideas or how the fit in my table or with my players, so when videos go slow the task is less frantic. I can pause, think, and still follow when y hit play again and I'm thankful for that :D
When I ran these guys just last night, I played them off as a noble family, who made a very bad decision, and we’re trying their best to fix it. I also played them as very crafty. I actually managed to kill one of my players when Amallia flirted with the barbarian and lured him into her study. She told him that she made a mistake and summoned a powerful monster that she could barely control. When he went to fight the chain devil she betrayed him.
Perfect timing on this one! My group has just begun chapter 3 of WDH and I've picked the Cassalanters as the main villain for this campaign. Deffo going to keep in mind that Victoro can prepare raise dead/resurrection. Thanks for another brill vid, absolutely love the Dragon Heist series!
Thank you so much man! I really try to make this sort of stuff not boring for the sake of the audience, and when you have a lot of energy, it helps. - Jake
